The Libra Moon is squaring (challenging) your 4th house of home and family. It describes your roots, your heritage and your private life. This house also rules land, property, residences, domestic affairs, psychological foundations, biological inheritance and place of abode.

This paragraph is for everyone because it is that important. Certainly the Moon in Libra today helps us out with the present challenging energy because the Moon in Libra absolutely does not want to fight. The Moon in Libra is a Lover, not a fighter. Today the Sun in Virgo forms an 'exact opposition' to Neptune in Pisces. Virgo and Pisces are opposite signs, so with the Sun in Virgo at 06 degrees 11 minutes and Neptune in Pisces at 06 degrees 11 minutes, this makes these two planes in 'exact opposition'. The Sun is the Giver of Life, it represents the identity and our ego. Neptune is the planet of imagination, spiritual depth and heightened romance. Neptune also represents very deep emotions. When these two planets square off in an opposition it can create the perfect balance or a tug-of-war. The negative impact can result in an over-active imagination creating illusion that turns into delusion. Since the Sun represents the ego, this can also create an individual who believes that they are the end-all and know-all of spirituality and they are the chosen one to deliver a spiritual message to someone else, which may be to inflate their own sense of spiritual-self. Another unflattering example of how this energy can reveal itself would be in secret liasons, emotional affairs of the heart and sneaking around romantically in order to feed the ego. Neptune is a secretive planet, representing heightened Love, which means that secret Love affairs could be on the mind of some, which often leaves scandal, confusion, hurt and pain. Remember, Neptune is in Pisces, which is its home placement but when squared off in an opposition, then the opposition intention of Neptune in Pisces can occur. Make certain you do not engage in self-destructive behavior because Neptune in Pisces rules the 12th house of self-undoing and skeletons in the closet. This can also result in a need for escape, which can lead to over-indulgence in alcohol or recreational drugs because self-control and self-discipline is lacking. Venus in Leo still squaring Mars in Scorpio and Saturn in Scorpio surely does not help matters much. Typically when the Sun and Neptune oppose each other then pulling on Saturn for discipline is the logical choice but Saturn is in a square to Venus (Love). RATS! With all of these planets rattling our cage, there may also be a tendency to make unwise financial choices. Stay away from get-rich-quick schemes or deals that are just too Good to be True. You know how I always say that Scripture tells us there is always a way of escape? (I Corinthians 10:13) Well, the route of escape with this opposition along with the accompanying squares is going to be through Mercury in Virgo. Mercury is the planet of communication and mental abilities and when placed in its home placement of Virgo, this creates a discriminating mind. Mercury in Virgo is quick, precise and sticks to the details. Mercury in Virgo has common sense and logic. You must make yourself think clearly so you do not get caught up in a Life of illusion that could ultimately lead to delusion. Remember, we also have the Libra Moon present that says, "I don't want to fight". Be cool my little mentators. Use your common sense and think logically before you are lead down the path of illusion/delusion. This opposition along with the accompanying squares will last until Friday, September 6, 2014. arrrggghhhh - Remember, pull on the thread of Mercury in Virgo to keep your mind focused on common sense, clarity and logic, so you see a bottle of booze will not help. Common sense is the key and that is your route of escape.
