Okay folks, let's think this thing through. The Sun is the 'Giver of Life' and without the Sun shining our day seems dreary. When a Solar Eclipse occurs, this means that the Sun is essentially be obscured by the Moon, except for that beautiful 'ring of fire' peeking out from around the edges. I see this as a feeling of cloud cover. There's nothing like when the Sun is shining and keeping everything clear for us. Eclipsed means that something is being over-shadowed or covered up and something else is trying to outshine it. The 'it' in this case being the Sun. The Moon (emotions) is trying to outshine the Sun (identity). How could anything outshine the Sun? Even when there is cloud cover there is still Light outside, right? And this eclipse still has that 'ring of fire' peeking out. I wouldn't let a temporary over-shadowing of the Sun get me down because we all know, when the Sun re-emerges, all will be Good, bright and beautiful once again. So as this Solar (Sun) Eclipse occurs today, know that something in your Life, that has to do with your identity, is being obscured or taken from sight and the emotions are taking over to get you back on track. I think sometimes these eclipses take away our obsessions so we can focus on what we really need to focus on. You know how sometimes you just make yourself snap out of stupid behavior and get back on track.

This New Moon in Taurus is serious about money. I mean it is serious folks! It is so serious that it is blocking out the ego (Sun) and taking over with financial emotion. The Taurus Moon is about SELF-WORTH, which I wrote about in your Weekly Horoscope. This Taurus Moon absolutely and unequivocally needs financial security. This Taurus Moon cannot stand not having money and will not stand for not having money. Listen up, Taurus is NOT afraid to work hard to get what they want. Granted, there will be some people today who drive right off into the financial ditch and go shopping because they have convinced themseleves that they 'deserve' it, when in fact their financial track record says they don't deserve it.

The Moon in Taurus is EXALTED! which means that it is the second strongest placement for the planet. It's often looked as being a 'guest' in this house. Have you ever heard anyone say, "Mi casa, su casa." In Spanish this means, my house is your house. An exaltation is saying, "Welcome, take your shoes off and stay a while." This Taurus New Moon wants you to get your financial act together. The Solar Eclipse is going to obscure or hide that which you should not be focused on (egostically speaking) and bring to mind what you should be focused on emotionally. Many should have had just about enough of the struggle. Taurus does not like to struggle and it will work hard so that it does not have to struggle financially. This Taurus Moon is emotionally steady as she goes and it is full of common sense where money is concerned. Again, a few out there will drive off the financial ditch and proclaim how they 'deserve' to spend but I will bet the ranch that they do not deserve it.

This Taurus Moon attracts wealth and will not back down because Taurus is a fixed sign. This is an financially obsessed Moon on an emotional level.
