News Flash! Information on Mercury Retrograde, which will occur this coming Saturday, June 7, 2014. You should have already known this by checking your Monthly Horoscope or the 2014 Retrograde Planetary Calendar. Before Mercury turns Retrograde it is in its storm, which means it is slowing down and creeping upon the time period when it turns Retrograde. Tomorrow morning, Friday, June 6th, 2014 Mercury will enter its 'Stationary' period where it actually stops and becomes stationary. It's like driving a car where you have to literally stop moving forward in order to put the car into reverse. You don't just shift from 'drive' into 'reverse'. No, you have to stop the car and then shift. That is what the 'stationary' period is like. At 7:57 AM EDT tomorrow morning, June 6, 2014 Mercury will stop and go 'stationary'. It will sit stationary as it shifts its energy into reverse (Retrograde) motion. Then right at 24 hours later on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 7:56 AM EDT Mercury will turn Retrograde and start going backward in degrees until Tuesday, July 1, 2014. In fact, it will start out its Retrograde motion in Cancer at 03 degrees and Retrograde far enough that it goes back into Gemini all the way back to 24 degrees Gemini before it turns Direct and moves forward again on July 1, 2014.

I have been studying astrology since I was 12 years old (that's about 41 years of my Life) and I still cannot figure out for the Life of me why everyone freaks out over Mercury Retrograde but yet the other planets when they are Retrograde do not receive the same amount of press. Other planets turn Retrograde too! Heck, I'm a Gemini ruled by the planet Mercury. My North Node Virgo is ruled by the planet Mercury as well. Gosh, Jupiter, the planet of abundance and expansion was Retrograde for 4 months and few people blinked an eye. That just baffles me! Saturn, the planet of restriction and limitation has been Retrograde since March 2, 2014 and will remain Retrograde until July 20, 2014 but no one is talking about it. And Pluto, it has been Retrograde since April 14, 2014 and will remain Retrograde until September 22, 2014 and no one blinks. Maybe its because Mercury rules the press, communication and yacking it up so that is what people do. It doesn't matter what happens from June 7, 2014 until July 1, 2014 Mercury will get the blame. Cracks me up! Even more, if you haven't properly maintained your communication or transportation needs (phone, car, computer, etc.,) these things may just give you a hard time during Mercury Retrograde. When Mercury turns Retrograde, it wants you to address and maintain your stuff. It's old business!

As I have written to you before, there should be no freak-out-ed-ness in a Retrograde status. It's your opportunity for a do-over. It's time to re-trace your steps and make it better before progressing forward. It's awesome folks! So, enough with dramatizing Retrograde planets. They are here to serve us! They are here to give us not only a second chance but a third chance because they retrace the same degree 3 TIMES!!! That's what I Love about Retrograde planets, they give us a period of time to go back and do things over before progressing forward again along our Spiritual Progression Path™. Mercury crosses over a set of degrees the first time, then goes backward over the same set of degrees a second time and then moves forward again over those same set of degrees, which is the third time.

Now folks, I always remind you that Retrograde is a wonderful thing. This is not something that should be feared or moaned and groaned about unless of course you are just trying to be dramatic on purpose. Actually those with Mercury Retrograde in their Natal Chart should feel quite comfortable with Mercury Retrograde because it's familiar energy to them. The rest of us may feel uneasy but that is our issue to deal with and handle. It's not like we don't have issues that we handle every single day. Retrogrades serve a wonderful purpose and this is as a "do-over". They give us a second and a third time to get something right before we move forward along our Spiritual Progression Path ™ .

Since Mercury rules communication and transportation, the best thing you can do right now is do the things that might slow you down during Mercury Retrograde. While Mercury is slowing down (in its storm) preparing to turn Retrograde, change the oil in your car....defragment your computer....do a computer system drive check-up.....update your luggage tags.....paint your mailbox.....put new numbers on your house or mailbox and make them more visible so you can be found more easily.....clean up the phone numbers in your phone......pay a little more on your phone bill so that you have a credit.......wash your car.....check the tires......get a spare key made for your car and make certain it is in a place that is accessible in case you need it.......make certain you have a spare tire......start leaving for work 10 minutes early and get in the mode of being on time and not dramatically running behind.......enjoy giving yourself extra minutes by doing things a few minutes earlier......etc. This is the time to do these things earlier than when Mercury goes Retrograde so that you are over-ready. While others may experience slow-downs (issues) you will be ahead of the game because you are ahead of do-over. How dang cool is that!?!? Now as a Gemini (Mercury ruled) with a North Node Virgo (Mercury ruled) I'm always in a organized mode because I'm a bit over the top Type A. (winky wink) Even more, during Mercury Retrograde you can expect me to be ahead on horoscopes by a day or two (as I usually am during Mercury Retrograde) because that is the advice I would give to you, if you were me. LOL

Beginning Saturday morning, June 7, 2014 at the start of Mercury Retrograde I will 'not' be taking orders on Expansive Natal Charts for a while. I have been tipping you off to this necessary move for a few weeks. This will give me time to complete other writing projects that I had begun and not yet finished. Quite frankly, I'm tired of all this unfinished business. Of all the things I do, it is writing personal natal charts that takes the most time and my preference is to use that time to write more content for this site and expand it beyond your imagination and desire. And believe me, I have enough stuff crammed in my brain to do just that and load you up! My intention is to expand it so much that it just blows your mind. Hey, I'm a Gemini, I like mind-blowing things. And believe me, the expansion will blow your mind. I'm not quite certain when I will open the link again to accept Expansive Natal Charts but I will let you know.
