The Capricorn Moon is squaring (challenging) your 10th house public life. This house also rules fame, notoriety, occupation, career, ambition, government, military, chief executives, business life, goals, ranks, political position, status, standing in the public eye, position in society. It shows your standing in the community and social status. It can reflect your attitude to parenting.

Folks, this is too juicy of a lesson not to give it to you. Today I am attaching two chart wheels (see link above). One will be for 5:00 AM EST and the other will be for 11:00 PM EST. The reason why this is such a cool teaching lesson is because at the start of the day the Moon in Capricorn is conjunct Pluto in Capricorn at 12 degrees. A conjunction is when two or more planets are in the same Sun Sign and same degree that emphasizes and brings together the energies of the planets involved. This morning the Moon and Pluto are both at 12 degrees in the same sign of Capricorn. See the first chart wheel. Then this evening, the Moon will have moved along far enough in degrees that it will no longer conjunct Pluto, it will now be conjunct Venus at 23 degrees. See the second chart wheel. Remember the Moon is fast moving and changes signs every 2 to 2-1/2 days, so it is moving at a pretty fast clip. So the emotional energy this morning will be completely different than the emotional energy tonight.

The Moon conjunct Pluto (like conjoined twins). The Moon naturally rules the emotions, moods, feelings, sensitivies, the home, family and domestic affairs. The planet Pluto is so powerful that it behaves like plutonium, where it completely destroys only to rebuild anew. Pluto levels one thing to cause something else to rise up out of the ashes, just like the phoenix-rising. Pluto destructs in order to reconstruct whereby a transformation is forced to take place. This conjunction between the Moon and Pluto is intensely emotional, which can cause an extreme high and then an extreme low, like a bomb being dropped out of nowhere. This conjunction causes drama and intensity. This can create emotional domination over others. Folks, this is dramatic and intends to call attention to yourself, so watch it! For one reason or another, your emotions may feel uprooted or chain may feel yanked. For men in particular, this conjunction can cause a man to be overbearing with women, which may alienate them with abrupt or offhanded speech. This can be very offensive to women.

Later today, probably around 2:00 or 3:00 PM EST you will feel a shift in energy. This is because the Moon has sailed over Pluto and passed it in degrees, creating a separating degree, and is now headed toward Venus in an applying degree. Remember separating degrees is when the two planets are moving further away in degrees leaving you feeling relieved or refreshed and an applying degree is when they are coming together closer in degrees which gives you the intuitive hit or gets a rise out of you to be prepared. So as the Moon and Venus come closer and closer in an applying degree, by 11:00 PM EST they will be exact at 23 degrees. When Venus and the Moon are conjunct it is still important to remember that the Moon rules the rules the emotions, moods, feelings, sensitivies, the home, family and domestic affairs, while Venus rules the Love, beauty, romance, creativity, music, art and relationships. The Moon is emotional and all about feelings, while Venus is aesthetic and artistic. Since the Moon rules the mother, the home, caretaking and cooking of food, you may seek to cook or prepare food as a Loving gesture that puts the energy of the morning hours on the back burner. In the evening hours you may be more apt to make a peace offering through cooking or some other form of affection. Men are acting completely different now where they are behaving more charming and affectionate toward women. While this conjunction is real nice, the bummer is that it just so happens to be squaring (challenging) Mars in Libra. MARS is a masculine planet that is in the placement of a masculine sign Libra which is squaring the Moon and Venus, which are both feminine. Arrrrggggh! While women make be making some sort of peaceful offering, men may still behave defensively, abrupt and speak offhanded.

Now do you see how the energy of the day changes so quickly? I think this change-in energy is too important to overlook and give you a horoscope that is just based on the Moon itself today. More than likely this energy I just wrote about will still impact your 10th house that I mentioned in the second paragraph above AND it will also impact you MORE in the house that is ruled by Capricorn in your personal natal chart. When you know this energy exists, then it is easier to let down your defense and let it just roll off your back.
