The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse Supermoon in Leo at 00 degrees 52 minutes (round up to 01 degree) occurs on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 12:16 AM EST, which means that it is hitting the rest of the U.S. on Sunday night 11:16 PM CST, 10:16 PM MST and 9:16 PM PST and even earlier in Alaska 8:16 PM AKST and Hawaii 7:16 PM HST.

So what makes this Full Moon so special? Not only is this Full Moon a Lunar Eclipse, where you will see the North and South Node snuggling up next to the Sun and Moon (yep you will see this in eclipses) and this Full Moon will look bigger than usual because it will be about 10 percent closer to the earth, which means 90 percent of the Full Moon itself is closer to earth. Put this way, the Moon is usually about 252,000 miles away, but this Full Moon will be about 224,000 miles away from the earth, which is right at about 10 percent closer making 90 percent of the Moon that much closer to the earth, except that last 10 percent on the other side of it.

This Full Moon has a whole lot of tension surrounding it and sandwiched on either side of it.

There are however, a couple of days on both sides of this Full Moon, that have absolutely phenomenal energies (aspects) if you can tune-in to these aspects and remember the type of energy this can bring to you.

As we move into this Full Moon, the Venus trine Mars aspect (Meme on the right) that was exact on Friday, January 18, 2019 is still very much alive and present until February 5, 2019. The next day after this Full Moon, on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, Venus will conjunct Jupiter, (next Meme) which is a fabulous day for money and Love, and this energy lasts until February 2, 2019. That is because Venus rules the 2nd house of personal money and earned income, and it also rules the 7th house of committed relationships, partnerships and marriages. And remember, Jupiter expands whatever it touches.

Then on Friday, January 25, 2019 Mars will trine Jupiter, (the next Meme), which is fantastic for projects, goals, ambitions and anything that takes extra umpf and motivation. That aspect has a knack for doing the right thing at the right time. It has strength, confidence and zeal to go after whatever it is you desire and everyone will wonder what pill you are taking for that amount of enthusiasm. When this energy is put to good use, it achieves and accomplishes its goals. This could have something to do with sports, since Mars rules sport and competition, or it could have to do with politics, legalities (red tape) or travel since Jupiter rules these things. Jupiter also rules ambitions, goals, dreams (the ambitious ones) and visions (the ambitious ones).

First, let's remember that Neptune is still very much squaring Jupiter, which I wrote about in Sunday, January 13, 2019 Extended Daily Horoscope. Please read this page again. This aspect began in applying degrees on December 2, 2018, it was exact on January 13, 2019 and it will last until November 4, 2019. So it was only 9 days ago that it was exact, and at this Full Moon write-up that aspect is only 01 degree from being exact as it was 9 days ago and is still very strongly active during this Full Moon. Remember, this is the aspect of 'blind optimism', it is 'the exaggerator', it is the 'bloated belly' and the 'risk taker and escapist'. Folks, you can do as many release ceremonies as you want and go through whatever motions you need to in order to make yourself feel better about this Full Moon, but what I would rather know you are doing is getting a real grasp on what these energies signify and connecting them with what you need to do in your own Life to make things happen. Make something real happen with deliberate action and motion. Save the emotion and put forth some motion. Notice how the individuals in the boat are completely oblivous to their surroundings.

Then there is Mercury conjunct Pluto which is still very much present as well, which was exact on Friday, January 18, 2019. Agent 007 is still on a 'dig' either researching or doing detective work to see who, what, where, when, why, how much and how long. This aspect is looking for something and will find it. Sometimes Agent 007 does know what he is looking for until he actually comes across something. Either way, he is in hot pursuit and never let's up on the gas. I certainly wouldn't be using this aspect to dig up dirt on someone or dig into someone's personal business simply because you are obsessed or infatuated with them. Use this aspect to do your homework on interests that will serve you. This Full Moon is big and bright, and will be shining a spotlight on an area of your chart (see below), so I suggest you stay on your game rather than digging into something that could get you into trouble. Make this 'dig' something that will serve you and help you become prepared. The Full Moon is shining like a beacon, but it is also shining like a spotlight.

The Sun squaring Uranus remains in the picture until this coming weekend. This aspect is causing all kinds of rebellion and difficulty. If pushed too far, this aspect will get sick and tired, along with pissed and tired, and start breaking rules and windows, just for the helluva it. While this aspect was exact last Friday, on January 18, 2019 it still remains active until this coming Saturday, January 26, 2019. Do not allow yourself to become so radical and rebellious that you end up throwing away some great energy above, only to regret your actions later. The wrong decision could cost you dearly, like a DUI or some sort of offense that could make you report to court. Maybe you yanked your arm away from someone, which caused you to accidentally hit someone in the lip with your elbow and now there is an assault charge. Just crazy stuff like that can arise if you do not check your drama at the door. Better yet, leave the drama at home because it will completely take you off the easy path.

The aspect closest in timing to this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse and surrounding it is the Venus squaring Neptune aspect. The aspect will likely make you say, "Why is this happening me?" when maybe, just maybe, that is how you set your Life up in order to experience that result. Whatever it is, it is probably just temporary but long enough to hurt a bit and make you wake up and get your act together. This aspect can cause you to make decisions based on idealism that have no practicality. Expectations are just unrealistic and when things go wrong you ask, "Why is this happening to me?" Well, the first thing you can do is be honest with yourself and answer the question directly. It's almost as if you are addressing karma quickly so you can move on. Neptune is a karmic planet since it is the natural ruler of Pisces, which rules the 12th house of 'karma'. This 'why is this happening me' thing could have to do with money or Love depending on the houses it is hitting for your Sun Sign and in your personal natal chart. When you find yourself throwing your hands up in the air or pounding the steering wheel saying, "Why is this happening to me?" simply answer your own question honestly and quickly and the Universe will probably reward you with great timing and you can move on. That happened to me once. When I lived in the city my bicycle was stolen. I was so bummed because it was my only transportation. I yelled, "Why is this happening to me?" Then I said outloud, "It's happening to you because you left your bicycle outside and you know better." It wasn't one hour later that I was given a new bicycle that was much faster and more expensive. REWARD! So again, answer the question honestly when it arises and get on with living. More than likely it was this aspect and not the Full Moon causing it. It just happened to be a timing thing.

The next aspect closest in timing to this Full Moon is the Mars squaring Saturn aspect. This aspect is the perfect contradiction of wanting to push forward (Mars) yet feeling held back (Saturn). That is because Mars is impulsive and aggressive, while Saturn is self-limiting and restrictive. It will take some work to control this energy in order to get it to a workable level of success. You may feel action-oriented to do something and then suddenly talk yourself out of it because of this or that. Keep in mind that Mars is aggressive, so it really wants to GO! It's like sitting and waiting at a stoplight that is only letting three cars go through at a time and you are the 10th car. You are going, but certainly not very fast. This reminds me of when I yell out, "Why can't everything go as fast as me!?!?" This aspect comes with a safety warning that says - wear safety glasses, hold on to the handrail, etc. This is not a warning but yet, it is. Mars can be rather impulsive and too quick to pay attention to the necessary safety details.

The last aspect impacting the energy of this Full Moon is Mercury squaring Uranus, which will occur on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 but still within close proximity to the Sun. This is the aspect of wild and hare-brained ideas. The craziest ideas manifest out of thin air where you might hear, "Where in the world did you come up with that idea?" Of course, the person who thinks they are the smartest is the one who you will hear with this bright idea. There are going to be a lot of geniuses talking during this aspect, so be prepared to be impressed (said tongue in cheek with a wink and a smile). This aspect lacks tact and wisdom. It's kinda crazy talking and reminds of Chris Cooper's character John Laroche in the movie, "Adaptation" (one of my favorite movies) of all time. Laroche was on the witness stand in court and said, "I'm probably the smartest person I know." You have to see the movie. This aspect is an intellectually ego-inflated. So either you are talking an intelligent game and flexing your ego, or someone else will be and you will be a close witness to it. There has to be a reason why, so explore that in your mind's eye.

I have been asked about a Grand Trine in the fire signs during this Full Moon. The Full Moon is exact at 12:16 AM EST, which is actually Sunday night, January 20, 2019 in the late PM hours for the rest of the U.S. The Grand Trine in the fire signs is not until Monday evening, January 21st when the Moon in Leo will be at mid-degrees, which will then trine both Venus and Jupiter in Sagittarius, which will both trine Mars in Aries, which will trine the Moon in Leo.
