The BIG NEWS today is Venus squares Mars and the Sun opposes Neptune. Wow! This energy looks a lot like 'The Bickerson's'. It's tough enough that estrogen (Venus) and testosterone (Mars) are at odds, then throw in the aspect of, "It's all your fault" and it turns into 'The Bickerson's' and sex gets cut-off. The combination of both aspects is 'trouble brewing in paradise'.

Keep in mind, if you have a birthday in the 'orb of influence' of the dates above, then you will experience both of these aspects for the entire time of your 2022 Solar Return, which means until your birthday next year.

Emotionally, the Moon kicks off on a great note with a sextile and trine at the start of the day. The end of the day is quite a bit different where it is quite possible you go to bed angry. It doesn't have to be that way, but for many, it will.

Venus square Mars is the classic placement for using 'sex as a weapon'. A square is a challenge, which can result in 'emotional issues on steroids'. Venus is estrogen and Mars is testosterone. Venus is female and Mars is Male. Venus is yin and Mars is yang.

Venus naturally rules Libra (coupling) and Taurus (self-worth), while Mars naturally rules Libra's opposite sign Aries. So this has a natural opposition built-in.

This is the couple who has make-up sex after every disagreement and may turn the disagreement into a fight just so they can have intense sex. It's drama and easily falls into the category of 'Aggressive Love', which Loves and hates with equal fervor. It's just too much relationship drama, meaning too much 'emotional relationship crazy'. It's relationships like this that think they were made for each other and will get married when clearly they DO NOT get along or they will have a baby, thinking that will make their Life happy and secure.

Dial it down! As a transit for the rest of us, you may be surprised that this aspect can throw you into crazy Love or jealousy where normally that is not your style.

It's also important to note that self-worth is involved in this aspect because Venus also naturally rules Taurus, the sign of self-worth and personal finances. The couples who have their financial head screwed on straight will be fine, it's the couples who don't that will be fighting over money and then having make-up sex.

This is emotional, financial and sexual insecurity in its finest hour. Again, for the conscious and 'real' couples, they may feel overly-sensitive, but not full-blown-crazy-love like the unconscious and insecure couples. This aspect can also be jealous, resentful and cruel because of the lack of self-worth.

Go easy on the alcohol during this aspect because it can create a time of 'Drama Love' over the smallest thing, and when mixed with alcohol, it creates something that isn't there. It also lacks in grace and refinement. It's the couple at the office party arguing like 'The Bickerson's' and making everyone uneasy. Damn, have it a little dignity and take it home peeps! This aspect can easily become unattractive and uncomfortable for everyone else present.

Men may be coarse, loud and offensive. Women may completely wear out a man with emotional drama and neediness. Women with this aspect are emotionally temperamental. Then there is the Sun opposing Neptune. Since the Sun is a personal planet, then this aspect feels more 'personal' to us than this just being about a plandemic that won't go away, politics and other current events.

Neptune is a generational planet, which involves a 'different' generation from our generation. This sounds like a couple who is fighting and bringing up the parent(s) of the other saying, "You are just like your dad!" or "You sound just like your mother!" Instead of just accepting responsibility and saying, "Hey, I'm sorry" the blame gets shifted and pulls in the ol' misdirection maneuver, which is very Neptunian and clouds up the subject matter. Now the fight is over something else and not even what originally occurred.

The Sun opposing Neptune is the individual who always thinks people are picking on them. Damn, that really makes it hard to be in any kind of relationship when you can't just make a statement, which ends being taken personally and then words get said you can't unhear or unsee them.

This aspect says it is always someone else's fault because it can't be their own. Of course not! The Sun is actually a luminary and not a planet at all, and with this aspect the Sun is blinded by its own glow.

Neptune is famous for making up problems just so it doesn't have to own its own problems. This creates unnecessary confusion and misunderstandings. AND FOR WHAT! Just because the Sun (ego) could not stop making it about itself and could not accept responsibility?

This aspect is incredibly defensive, as it defends itself before it even gets blamed. You could be talking about anything in the world and you might hear someone else say, "Well not me!" or "I didn't do it." Heck, no one said that person did do it and they are reacting in a defensive way where there was no reason. It's best to just have a reason. (winky wink)

This creates issues in relationships where no problem existed, but now there is a big issue. There is distortion and one-sided views and now the relationship no longer feels the same. Check the dates of when this energy began and it could explain a few things.

Remember, the Sun is involved here, which is a personal planet and this causes us to take things personal. Whenever you see Neptune involved, especially in a hard aspect (square or opposition) you can pretty much count on deception being present. Needless to say, this is not the time to mix Neptune with alcohol. There is actually NEVER a Good time to mix Neptune with alcohol, but the flesh is weak.

This aspect is not kind to addicts - chemical, sexual or physical. The abused or the abusers are taking a hit. Words will hurt and land on the mind and body just as hard as a punch in the face or a shot to the heart. This aspect has self-preservation written all over it and will do what it takes to preserve the ego (Sun) and blame-shift on to others. It can't be me, so it has to be YOU!

There is a high probability of victimization showing up on the scene. YOU YOU YOU! The cunning and trickster behind this aspect will use fake power to scare, frighten, intimidate and rattle others. Whatever it takes! Okay, now I'm shifting gears into overdrive . . .

Keep in mind that Neptune rules Pisces and the 12th house of 'the rescuer' or 'the savior'. Neptune in Pisces has 'savior mentality.' Remember the past two (2) years where we were being brainwashed that we too could be the Savior if we would just wear our mask. This aspect shows up once a year, so yep, Neptune in Pisces from 2011 until 2024 we will experience the Sun in Virgo opposing Neptune in Pisces.
