SUN OPPOSING NEPTUNE

This aspect depicts conflict which, when resolved, results in growth. Oppositions show a tug of war between opposing forces. If they are resolved, then the oppositions become the backbone and strength of the chart.

It is important to understand that the Sun rules masculine energy, the identity, ego, individuality, power and pride, while Neptune is in-tune. Think of Neptune as being intuitive, in-tune and tuning in like a Tune-Ah-Fish, since Neptune is the ruler of Pisces (the fish).

The Sun opposing Neptune reminds me of the person who always thinks they are being picked on. It always seems to be someone else's fault but yet they are always getting the blame. The problem is the individual creates imaginary problems where no problems exist, and then feel singled out to face unfair obstacles and penalties. Therein lies the blame game. Needless to say, there is a lot of confusion and misunderstanding. The individual with this aspect in their natal chart may feel that early in life they were singled out for discipline, and responded with a defensive attitude toward your teachers or parents.
