The BIG NEWS today is the New Moon in Scorpio, but if you have been keeping up with the October 2019 Astro Memes then you already knew this because these memes have been posted since the end of September, so this New Moon in Scorpio should not come as a big surprise.

While this New Moon is harsh, hurtful and hateful, it is also happy, humane and helpful. But here's the thing, even though this aspect carries with it some - happy, humane and helpful energy with that being Mercury conjunct Venus, that energy does not come into 'exactness' until three (3) full days after this New Moon. Mercury conjunct Venus does not show up fully until Thursday, October 30, 2019 which means it is in 'applying' (aka approaching) degrees on this date. The energy has landed, it's comin' down the road, but it's not exactly here, yet. But we feel it. So while this aspect is helpful to us, those who are unconscious and unenlightened may have already said some hurtful things to someone else and there is no take-back. When Scorpio season shows up, then you can just about kiss forgiveness good-bye. The jury has already heard it. This Mars square Saturn aspect is really tricky folks because it will answer your question with a question, just to trip you up. Good luck getting a straight answer with this aspect hanging around. Mercury wants to move forward because Mercury is fast and wants to get there, either by car or by conversation, it just wants to get to the place that it wants to be. It's like sitting at a stop light grinding your gears trying to move forward but the car won't go. Saturn limits and holds back and restricts. So you see, this energy can't seem to get it going. In a conversation the question doesn't get answered because a question is asked as the answer to the question. What? It's maddening! Oh my gosh, just answer the question!!!! "Do you want to go to the store with me?" "Why? Do you think I don't want to go to the store with you?" And you are left standing there saying, "What the hell just happened? All I asked is if you wanted to go to the store with me and the question just turned upside down on me." Talk about making it hard to communicate. This aspect carries negative thinking because Saturn is restrictive and limited, so when coupled-up with Mercury, the conversation is limited and its negative! Man, it is tough to communicate with someone who asks questions in their answer. I won't even have that conversation. I'll put the brakes on that BS right away and not play that silly game. But then again, I'm a Gemini ruled by Mercury who just wants to talk rightly without the accompanied immature BS.

Scorpio is a fixed sign, along with Aquarius, Taurus and Leo, which means these signs do not change their mind all that easy and when they do, they want 'it', whatever 'it' is, to be their idea. It's tough to be around fixed energies when things need to change because fixed energy reacts super-harshly to change when it is unexpected and takes it personal. I mean it is real tough energy for fixed energy to change because . . . "this is the way it's always been done" or "this is what we were doing yesterday." Honestly, I believe when the Universe (God) hands us tough energies like this, it's because we need it. You see Astrotators, sometimes we don't know how Good we have it until it is gone, and sometimes sh-- happens to teach us that lesson.

So during this New Moon in Scorpio, while we have some sweetness accompanying this New Moon, the overall feel of it is really hard and it can be incredibly hurtful. I am really throwing out the caution flag here because once you say those hurtful things, then it will reveal your character. If you are under pressure and you react emotionally that's one thing, that's understandable because you are under pressure and our human nature needs to release emotion, but if you turn hurtful and start 'you, you, you'ing' someone, then those are the words that are going to stick because now someone knows how you feel when you are not angry. Wow! I would rather someone be drunk on their ass and say hurtful things to me rather than be sober as a drill sargeant and say hurtful things. At least I could say, "Well that person was not in their right mind and they were drunk!" You could argue that the Truth comes out when a person is drunk, but my argument is, maybe that is True but they were still not in their right mind when they said it. Still if a person is as sober as a drill sargeant and knows exactly what they were saying, that is a whole other thing and it will be remembered.

So I'm just saying, the Sun opposing Uranus is exact today, just not exactly-exact and it is definitely bringing out the 'mean girl' and 'grumpy old man' energies and it has been since October 18th when it came into the 'orb of influence'. Whispers .... she, she, she .... he, he, he .... they, they, they. Oh that's real attractive!

You may have noticed over the past several days, there have been a lot of twisted mouths, pursed lips, unimpressed smirks and raised eyebrows that tell you exactly what the other person is thinking, so there is no sense in asking. Let your intuition be your guide and keep your mouth shut while the other person is telling -- you, you, you and showing you exactly who they are. Anyway, watch for body language because people are telling you exactly what they think when they dip their head and raise their eyebrows, fold their arms, zip their purse quickly, slam the door, etc . . . it's all body language and we all respond to it. So watch for it! If you respond to it and take the bait, then that's on you. Read their language and move on!

Have you been a mean girl or grumpy old man lately? This energy began on October 18th and it will last until November 3rd, just in time for Mars squaring Pluto to be exact on November 5th. Mars square Pluto (the Superhero or the Bully) has been in play since October 23rd, so we are experiencing a lot of antagonistic energy. So either stay away from those who insist on telling 'you you you' how you are or count on these negative energy people stealing your peace. If you have a Solar Return around this time period, these energies will be in your Solar Return and will last for an entire year.

The birth dates that surround these energies from October 23, 2019 until November 17, 2019 are going to have the roughest times with these energies. And the birth dates closest to this New Moon today or November 5th will have the hardest time. It doesn't have to be that way and if you know all of this ahead of time, then you know to polish your character because these energies will reveal a side of you that you will have wished it had not.

Keep in mind, this New Moon is accompanied by Venus sextile Pluto, which is a wonderful aspect and was exact two (2) days ago, but by the time the New Moon in Scorpio arrives tonight at 11:38 PM EDT, that aspect will already be at 03 degrees 22 minutes of separation, meaning it is nearly over with by the time this New Moon is exact tonight. This aspect occurred on Friday morning at 5:38 AM EDT so we are catching the very tail end of it when the New Moon hits. Sextiles have an 'orb of influence' of 04 degrees, so you will have a tiny piece of this energy (at 03 degrees 22 minutes of separation) to pull on and hang on to, but there is not much of it left. I'm just sayin' hold on tight!
