![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I welcome sharing my writing, links, quotes and Astro Memes, The Moon in Gemini sextile Venus in Aries Rx at 1:21 AM EST. The Moon in Gemini conjunct Jupiter in Gemini at 5:17 AM EST. The Moon in Gemini square the Sun in Pisces at 11:32 AM EST. The Moon in Gemini square Saturn in Pisces at 8:23 PM EST. ![]() Upward and onward! Today the Moon in Gemini makes four (4) aspects. Venus and the Sun are personal planets, and Jupiter and Saturn are transpersonal or social planets that bridge the gap between the personal planets and the generational planets. Saturn and Jupiter are the yearly planets, meaning Saturn changes signs every 2-1/2 to 3 years and Jupiter changes signs one (1) time a year. In an interesting thought, this bridging the gap between us personally and generationally could also be seen as bringing us all together. Could you let that happen? Is that out of the realm of possibility that you are brought together to consider other points of view from different perspectives? If everyone is standing on a different side of the mountain, the view is going to be different. It just is. It's tough when our younger, less mature, and undisciplined self won't allow ourselves to listen to our more mature, experienced and knowledgeable self, much less listen to those who are more mature, experienced and knowledgeable than ourselves. Who could know more than our own self? (winky wink) I suppose I'm just saying when you see Saturn (maturity) and Jupiter (the higher thinking mind) show up on the scene, let yourself use that route. These two (2) planets are great fixers because they have a more mature outlook because of longevity and experience. Why panic? Just go into fix it mode with your experienced self. The day begins on a nice note, then the sign of travel and communication gets a little complicated and intense. A conjunction intensifies the energy of the planets involved. Gemini naturally rules travel locally, in your own locale, state or country, and Jupiter naturally rules Sagittiarus, the sign of travel to other countries or abroad. If you 'choose' not to handle the energy with maturity and experience, then the day will quickly fall apart and turn crummy because you did not choose to check your emotions. Check yourself. Chill. Drama, chaos and quick tempers will not help you. Gemini has this really cool ability to jump into their other self. So if the day runs off the rails, jump into your 'other' self and handle it. Simple as that. ![]() On another note, today is the day after yesterday. More importantly, it is the day after Ash Wednesday, which is the start of the Lenten Season. I am a practicing Catholic, so I do my best to take myself through the motions of being hyper-prayerful, repentant and forgiving. I can be unruly, and I'm a mouthy-thing, so I use the practice of religion to keep myself in-check. It's a form of keeping me self-disciplined, so God will not have to discipline me. Good thinking huh? That's just me. Perhaps you don't need religion, then Good for you. I do.
I consider myself - holistic, metaphysical, philosophical, spiritual and religious. I Love it all, after all, variety is the spice of Life. Spoken like a True Gemini, huh? I also feel that if you are sooooo spiritual, then my religion won't bother you a bit. Yesterday during Mass, the priest gave a wonderful homily (sermon). He was talking about how us Catholics 'give up' something for Lent and we remove 'that thing' that we are attached to because it gets in the way of our connection to 'Divine Providence', meaning God's Wisdom and Love. In other words, if you are so attached to alcohol, cigarettes, food, sugar, sex, pornography, romance, shopping, etc., then it's quite possible that 'thing' has more of your attention than God, and that 'thing' is in the way of your connection with 'Divine Providence'. While I sat there and listened to the priest say in a simple sentence what I am using paragraphs to say, I told myself to remember his words exactly, so I pray that I am giving his words their due Lenten and spiritual meaning. Think about it, how could one possibly be connected to 'Divine Providence' when an obsession is occurring? You can't!! The removal of said obsession is to rechannel your thoughts and actions toward Spirit (God). If you have ever read 'The Miracle of Mindfulness' by Thich Nhat Hanh (Zen Master), then you know what 'washing the dishes' means. As a moving meditation, you don't just wash the dishes, instead you - wash . . the . . dishes. It's a moving meditation. Like yoga. Like doing laundry should be. Like walking. Anything can be a moving meditation, and should be. Maybe like clipping bonsai trees. We are also NOT supposed to be whining, wailing, bragging and complaining about what we gave up for Lent. That is between the individual and God. It's a Scripture. We are living in times of loud and proud 'virtue signaling' where the masses are outwardly displaying their Good moral character seeking approval, affirmation and praise from people. Scripture says, "They have their reward." In other words, if they seek praise from others, they have their reward and God will have no need to reward them. They already received what they sought. 1 Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.
2 So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.
3 But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,
4 so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. All of Matthew Chapter 6 is a really great read. I encourage you to read it daily during this Lenten Season. ![]() If you received an 'Ah-ha' from this write-up, please consider supporting my 'original content' and buying ME a coffee. You might say, "One awakening (horoscope) for another awakening (coffee)". What a wonderful exchange of chi' and express gratitude.
