Today begins as an emotional day with the Moon (estrogen) opposing Venus (estrogen) and then quickly followed by the Moon (estrogen) squaring Mars (testosterone). Oppositions 'can be' the perfect balance but often times end up as a tug-of-war, if the emotions are not checked and logic is not entertained. It doesn't help that the square on top of this opposition is poking you in the side with its elbow. You are going to have to find a way to chill your emotions because hot emotions are just that ... they are hot! The body really does heat up when the emotions rise. We use phrases like 'blood boiling' when our emotions get heated. As the blood gets excited or boils, the blood pressure goes up. So you see, it's important to cool or chill your emotions when your emotions get heated.
As the day moves along, the Moon will trine Jupiter (and a trine is fine) and then the Moon will trine Uranus late in the evening. The day opens up and begins to feel better than the way it began. The change in energy could make you so optimistic and excited that you self-indulge and fill up. Take it easy. The release of the hard energy in the morning brings such a welcomed relief later in the day that self-induldgence (I deserve) could prove to be too much. Too much eating, spending or even time off. By evening's end, you will see that the day has ended much differently than it began.
