The BIG NEWS today is Mercury in Pisces sextiles Mars in Taurus. Mercury is 'the thinker' and Mars is 'the aggressor'. The fact that Mercury is in Pisces, which takes on a more spiritual flare and Mars in the money sign of Taurus takes on a financial tone, means that you will likely be thinking about money or your financial situation.
This is also the the aspect of 'the quick learner' so if you ran into financial problems, you may be learning very quickly from your past decisions. At the same time, you may be learning very quickly from timing and opportunities that come in front of you. In other words, you may suddenly realize that saying "yes" opens up the channels for great opportunity down the road. We have all joked at one point or another how we are 'a quick learner' but with this aspect, you suddenly realize just how fast you are willing to learn. There is a willingness here as we all have 'free will' and can choose to be difficult or ready, willing and able.
The best part of this aspect is that it is quite capable of making a decision. Mercury sextile Mars says what it means and means what it says. This aspect is a great calculater, planner, stategizer and organizer. This is welcomed assistance since we are in the middle of Mercury Retrograde (Rx), which does not turn Direct until a week from Thursday, which is March 28, 2019. Any games, skills or talents that require mental agility, such as chess will fall under this aspect. If you need to make plans that will stick, this is the aspect you want. Math skills are also present. This is the mark of the statistician, technician and mathematician. Mercury sextile Mars gets the job done and does it well because mental preparation is the foundation.
This aspect is good for speaking, writing and getting the point across. Keep in mind, Mercury rules both Gemini (the communciator) and Virgo (the analyzer).
