The BIG NEWS today is Venus sextiles Neptune giving us a Polly Anna disposition. Thank God because what the world needs now is more Love. This is a Lovely aspect as Neptune is the higher-octave of Venus. This aspect is so full of sweetness and Love that it is actually like a child trying to give a flower to a hardened criminal doing Life to eternity in the state prison.

Keep in mind Venus not only rules personal finances, but committed relationships, so this aspect is seeing the silver lining in everything that is the most personal, near and dear to us. This aspect is looking past the obvious and seeing only teddy bears and mylar balloons. There will probably be a lot of eloping during this aspect. We always see engagements at the end of the year, but with Venus sextile Neptune bringing up the close of the year, it's a little over-the-top and later might end in, "What was I thinking?"

It's also important to remember that Mercury in Capricorn turns Retrograde tomorrow - Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 4:32 AM EST until Wednesday - January 18, 2023. So there's that! It's quite likely you may not be thinking so clear when it comes to money (Venus) and Love (Venus and Neptune). Rat-dang-it!

Think of Neptune as being 'out there'. It is an outer planet, along with Uranus and Pluto, which are all generational planets, meaning they impact and influence an entire generation of people. Outer planets cause things from outside of yourself to occur and influence you. Neptune is influencing an entire generation of people and is recruiting Venus to help get the job done.

It's not fair to say everything Neptune represents and rules is a fairytale, foggy, freaky or fantasy because Neptune rules auras, chakras, artistry, and clair- gifts, such as - clairvoyant, clairsentient, clairaudient, clairkinesthetic, etc. Keep reading . . .

Neptune in the warped sense can certainly turn into fairytale, foggy, freaky and fantasyland . . but on the flip side it is also incredibly intuitive, clair- and artistic.

Neptune rules drugs, alcohol, chemistry, addictions, deceit, prescriptions, apothecaries and fakery. Having said that, if you are dealing with anyone who has issues with addictions or lying, it is likely the addict will feel a 'high' of sorts from this Venus sextile Neptune aspect. The 'Polly Anna' presentation might just be a little over-the-top and give you pause to question their motive or words. Just sayin'.

Otherwise, this aspect is perfect for feeding the super- artist, musical and creative individual. If you have run into a problem where you feel stuck creatively, this aspect will probably get you motivated again giving you idea after idea.

Since Neptune is involved and the Moon is in Pisces (monk mode), it would be a great time to meditate on your creativity, ideas, projects and what could possibly be coming up next for you.

Venus sextile Neptune is optmistic 'all the time', which always seems to find the silver lining in the darkest cloud. This aspect is dang-near manic on the high-end.

If it wasn't a Scorpio that made lemonade out of lemons, then it was probably this aspect. Even when times get tough and it seems like the end is near, this aspect may sink low for all of about 5 minutes and then get back up again and get into back its groovy space.

Venus sextile Neptune is friendly, happy and probably needs to set some boundaries because it is a little bit naive, dewey-eyes and inexperienced. It is also gullible and overly-trusting. STOP IT! Fairytales are only in fairytales!

If during this aspect it's too Good to be True . . . then you must take another look after you splash your face with ice cold water and wake the heck up. After all, Neptune also rules sleep dreams and daydreaming.
