The Moon is in Capricorn until Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 12:56 PM EDT where the Moon will then move into Aquarius.

Today there are four (4) aspects to the Capricorn Moon with a square to Venus, a sextile to Neptune, a sextile to Jupiter and a conjunction to Pluto. The first three aspects will be over by 8:22 AM EDT, but they will still be in-play throughout the day due to the 12 to 14 hour 'orb of influence' before and after exactness.

The square to Venus at 6:36 AM EDT wakes many up on the wrong side of the bed. Some of you may even go to bed feeling as though you just can't be yourself even around the people you know the most. There just seems to be a disconnect. It's tough to communicate loving thoughts and feelings when the Moon is squaring Venus. Since Venus rules both money and Love, this could also lead to careless, immature or unlucky actions in financial matters.

Not even one (1) hour later, at 7:28 AM EDT, the Moon sextiles Neptune, which stimulates your intuition and gives you insight through symbols, dreams or visions. Keep in mind that Neptune is also the higher octave of Venus, so there is a money component here that you may feel intuitively. Spend or don't spend...hmmmmmmm. It is also important to remember that the Moon naturally rules Cancer and Neptune naturally rules Pisces, which can reveal itself as either an incredible amount of fear or an incredible amount of emotional sensitivity and empathy for others. Don't let this lead to you get 'taken' for money over a sob story. When it comes to Love, this aspect can cause you to idolize someone becoming all 'dreamy' about them. Wow, isn't it a little too early in the morning for that?

Not even one (1) hour later comes the last aspect 'of the AM hours' as the Moon sextiles Jupiter, which can make you over-benevolent and over-kind. It's too much!!! If you are wearing a 'guilty conscience' today, then you may be passing out money like candy trying to make things all better again. Maybe all you really need to do is apologize to someone and then you can let go of the guilt and you won't be doling out dollars to those who would otherwise not appreciate it. So you skip buying lunch for your friends today. You can be kind and thoughtful without picking up the tab.

The last aspect today occurs at 2:45 PM EDT as the Moon conjuncts Pluto. Now keep in mind, the Moon is an emotional planet, so when it is coupled with Pluto (power) by way of a conjunction, then the energy of the two planets involved is intensified. The Moon is feminine energy, while Pluto is masculine energy since Pluto is the higher octave of Mars. This can make men overbearing with women and may alienate them with abrupt, offensive or offhanded speech. In women, this can make them emotionally dominating where they use their emotions to manipulate and gain power over others. It is threatening and over-powering. If you are a woman, you should be able to easily recognize if you are going down this path or if another woman around you is attempting to power-play using their emotions. Men should be able to see this power set-up as well. Basically, this aspect is the dominatrix. The more you keep yourself in the astrological loop, the easier it will be to recognize these energies as they occur and you can just remove yourself from the scene.
