The Moon is in Capricorn until Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 12:56 PM EDT where the Moon will then move into Aquarius.

Today is another light day on aspects as we experience only two (2) lunar aspects. The first aspect occurs at 5:01 AM EDT as the Moon trines Uranus and the second aspect occurs at 5:33 AM EDT as the Moon conjuncts Saturn. Essentially these two (2) aspects overlapping each other fairly close and within 32 minutes of each other. Keep in mind lunar aspects have a 12 to 14 hour 'orb of influence' before and after their exactness. The interesting thing about these two aspects is they bring a double-dose of Aquarian energy with them. This is due to the fact that Saturn is Aquarius's ancient ruling planet, while Uranus is Aquarius's modern day ruling planet. Remember on Sunday when I talked about Jupiter and Neptune being co-rulers of Pisces, with Jupiter being the ancient ruling planet and Neptune being the modern day ruling planet and how Neptune was only discovered in 1846. Well Uranus was only discovered in 1781 so all that time before that Saturn was the ruler of Aquarius. Don't ask me who called themselves the astrological boss and started shifting planetary rulerships around, but myself and a whole mess of astrologers will still always look at the ancient rulers and take them into account.

So we have this double-dose of Aquarian energy, which is really quite conservative. Now this is 'not' a political conversation so don't wig out on me. Still, by nature, most Aquarian's are quite conservative, meaning holding more traditional attitudes and operating at a more cautious pace when making decisions. Remember, Aquarius is a fixed sign. It may be rebellious as all get out, but it is fixed, firm and planted in what it knows. So we have a Capricorn Moon today that is also naturally ruled by Saturn. Capricorn is also known as a highly conservative sign being cautious, prudent and practical. These two signs will always says, "Oh yeah, and where is the money going to come from!?!?" Aquarius likes to reform and be the social reformer, but it also doesn't like change. Huh? What? I know! So look for these type of attitudes and/or beliefs to pop up in yourself, along the airwaves or amongst your friends.
