When you are preparing to hole-up and huddle-up for an extended period of time due to circumstances beyond your control, such as a power outage, you are going to need some snacks.

Folks, this is beyond grabbing fun snacks and then eating them all during a weekend of quarantine. This is the real deal when you are food prepping. You might need those snacks for meals or to sustain you for one reason or another. Here are a few snack ideas that will give you some decent nutrition in a pinch.

There are options to drying and/or dehydrating your own food using a dehydrator, or the oven, or you can just purchase it ready made.
