The BIG NEWS today is the Sun moves into Scorpio. Chances are, you know a Scorpio, so you probably already know that Scorpio is an intensely emotional sign. This Scorpio season is going to be a tough one for the first two (2) decans of Scorpio. Each Sun Sign has 30 degrees. Each decan is 10 degrees, so there are (3) decans of 10 degrees in each Sun Sign. The first decan of Scorpio is from October 23 - November 3, 2019. The second decan of Scorpio is from November 4 - November 13, 2019. And the third decan of Scorpio is from November 14 - November 22, 2019. All three (3) decans will be hit with Mercury Retrograde, which begins on October 31, 2019 and lasts until November 21, 2019.

The two (2) weeks before Mercury Retrograde (beginning on about October 14, 2019 which is really 2-1/2 weeks) we experience the storm as it begins to slow down and prepare for its reversal in degrees. Mercury has been in the sign of Scorpio since October 3, 2019, which has pretty much given Scorpio a forked tongue with an extra helping of a scorpion stinging tail and it will lash out and strike without warning. WHAP! Where in the hell did that come from? Whether you deserve it or not, that forked tongue is liable to get you if you stand too close. Have you been cut yet by a Scorpio over the past two (2) weeks? Maybe the area in your chart that is ruled by Scorpio is causing you to develop a forked tongue. Know thy chart my dear astrotators and it will keep you from going crazy during Scorpion season.

The first decan of Scorpio (see above dates) will have to deal with a couple of tough aspects that you can see on the October 2019 Astro Memes page. Not only will the first decan be living with 'The Contradiction' aspect for the next year during their Solar Return, they will also be living with 'Haters Be Hatin' aspect.

The second decan of Scorpio (see above dates) will have to deal with Mars square Pluto over the next year in their Solar Return. This is the placement of the 'Superhero' or 'The Bully', which will occur in exact degrees on November 5, 2019. You have to be pretty darn enlightened and well-traveled along your spiritual progression path to be able to become the 'Superhero' and not succumb to becoming a 'bully' when this aspect shows up. And that aspect is going to impact birth dates from October 23 - November 17, 2019. That ugly aspect will cover nearly every single Scorpio birth date and the closer the birth date is to November 5, 2019 the tougher the aspect will feel and it will be for an entire year. Many Scorpio's may already feel or recognize that this 'Superhero' or 'Bully' energy is showing up in their spirit. There is a super-high chance that these second decan Scorpio's are going to be more suspicious than ever, which could be so intense and over-the-top that they end up pushing their own partner away with bully tendencies. Second decans have it the hardest during this entire next year's Solar Return. It's rough!

The third decan of Scorpio (see above dates) is the decan that will escape most of the really ugly energy except that Mercury in Scorpio will still be Retrograde and they will have to deal with Venus squaring Neptune, which has idealistic and unrealistic expectations. It's almost like their head will be too far into the clouds to see clearly, but I can tell you this, they will be positive. And ya' know, Scorpio is not really known for having a positive outlook because typically they have a pessimistic outlook that they would rather call 'realistic'. Well this year in the Solar Return for the third decan Scorpio's, they will be so positive that they just might be unrealistic! How funny is that! Cute! And this mostly has to do with Love and romance. Third decan Scorpio's are head over heels in Love with some pretty high unrealistic expectations.
