The BIG NEWS today is the Sun squares Pluto. Folks, this is a very very tough square. As you read this, you can imagine what it is like for the individual who has this aspect in their natal chart, much less flying over and impacting the Solar Return. For the rest of us who do not have this aspect in our Natal Chart or have a birthday impacted by this aspect this year, we will still experience this aspect as a transit, which means we will feel and experience this energy for just this period of time.

So right now Pluto is in Capricorn at 28 degrees and squaring the Sun in Libra at 28 degrees exact today, which began in applying degrees on October 13, 2023, it is exact today, and will last in separating degrees until October 29, 2023.

Next fall (2024) when Pluto is in Capricorn at 29 degrees, then it will square exact the Sun in Libra at 29 degrees. This aspect will also show up in the Spring for the Aries birth date on April 20, 2024. So you see, every year for the last 15 years, Libra (and Aries) have been getting slapped with this powerful aspect, since both signs square Capricorn, thereby impacting the rebellious independent nature of Aries and the coupled relationships and business partnerships of Libra. This aspect has been super-tough on relationships, as well as those trying their hand at independence.

This aspect, when in the Natal Chart, has an even tougher time growing older simply because the individual refuses to recognize that it's not everyone else, it's them! If the individual still has not grown for the better as they age, they are not likely to change at all. The individual will grow into a cantankerous, curmudgeon and crusty old fart or old hag. Even when friends and/or family began fading away and consciously choosing not to hang around too long, the individual will still NOT see that they are the common denominator. The Sun square Pluto reveals everything is an argument, debate or discussion where it has to end up 'right'. Personal relationships like friends and family are continually uneasy, upset, disturbed and anxious. Nothing is ever right, which means something is always wrong. It's just maddening because the Sun square Pluto is never really happy, satisfied or agreeable. This aspect CONSTANTLY points out what is wrong and has to be upset about something. It just can't be a happy day all the way. Imagine, pulling out in front of this individual on the road.

The Sun square Pluto absolutely refuses to change because it has to be everyone else! Everyone else is wrong! The Sun square Pluto has a problem WITH EVERYONE! "They, they, they, them, them, them, he, he, he, she, she, she!" This aspect will spend more time trying to figure out others, rather than simply looking in the mirror.

This aspect will also "yeah but" everything, which in turn negates what the other person just said. I'll say that again, the word "but" negates what was just said, thereby making the other person wrong. This individual absolutely has to have the last word because they need to be right, or win the argument, debate, or discussion.

I have NO PROBLEM letting these individuals have the last word. And I mean, the very last word. That way they can 'think' on what they said because I'm out. When the individual with this aspect plays back the conversation, they will hear themselves. I'm okay with that.

Remember, Pluto is the higher-octave of Mars, and Mars is competitive, pushy and insistent. So the Sun square Pluto will be harder and harder to handle (or be around) if the individual carrying this aspect does not grow or change as they get older. Others have to simply decide if they are willing to be around the individual at all. Sometimes the plug has to be pulled and the walk-away is the only option. The other individual will never have their point seen or acknowledged because the Sun square Pluto NEEDS TO BE RIGHT and it needs to WIN.

This aspect will also use emotions to make a point, which means there is anger, tears, rise in pitch, fast-talking so the other person cannot get in a word edgewise. Since Pluto is involved, the higher octave of Mars, there will be heat, which raises the blood pressure, the skin color and the emotions. Good grief this is a tough aspect. And folks, it's not just Uncle So-and-So who shows up with this aspect and wants to argue, it's women too.

This aspect is explosive and unpredictable, and is always angry about something. I can't even say 'usually or typically' angry about something. This aspect is ALWAYS angry about something or mad at someone. Needless to say, this aspect has very few friends. The Sun square Pluto CANNOT control the emotions.

This aspect is powerful, which makes it great for rising to the occasion or rising to challenges. If you are a willing participant, this aspect will teach you how to compromise, but not if you need to be right. If you need to be right, well then you will have issues, problems, arguments, fights and unsettled relationships your entire Life. How's that feel?

The Sun square Pluto builds-up willfulness, doggedness and lack of discipline. Maybe you just want to scream out to these individuals, CONTROL YOURSELF! Individuals 'suffering' with this aspect, because they do suffer, will be incredibly emotional. Remember, this aspect cannot control its emotions, so it uses emotions to control others. Anger, tears, pushy and forceful tones, etc. Folks, the emotions are manipulation. Oh boy, here comes the anger or tears! Sooner or later, there is an explosion.

Needless to say, but I'll say it anyway, a parent with this aspect will soon find their children keeping an arm's distance because everything ends up being a log on the fire. Pressure mounts in the individual suffering from the Sun square Pluto and the powder-keg blows. There will be explosions, one after the other. Man, this is a tough aspect.

Those who are more self-restrained and witness this aspect in others may feel threatened or just puzzled, because something is always wrong and nothing is ever right. EVER! Again, the individual suffering from this aspect will undoubtedly use, "They, they, they, them, them, them, he, he, he, she, she, she" constantly in their conversation because you know, it can't be the individual in the mirror.

Now here is the tough pill to swallow. This aspect carries a hefty load of frustrated ambition. Maybe their was a loss that put out their Light or where they shine. Maybe the individual did not get to the top of their own game and the disappointment sits within and now everyone else pays the price. There is also a frustation with authority and the result in a 'revolutionary spirit.' This aspect is ALWAYS on defense. ALWAYS! I'll say pretty much 100 percent of the time, this aspect is ready to pounce and correct someone because the other person is wrong. As usual.

Certainly, if channeled appropriately, this aspect has some amazing leadership gifts and enterprising ideas, but behind closed doors, this aspect will stick its two-cents in. It just can't help it. While the outside persona might be cheerful and Lovely, the inside persona may look completely different to those taking the heat. Forming close emotional ties with others is downright tough.

If you are carrying this aspect in your Natal Chart or Solar Return, or feeling the impact of this aspect right now in any way, then it would be worth it to also investigate your level of pain. Pain changes people and often times those who did not cause pain in an individuals Life are the ones receiving the brunt of all the pain someone else caused them. So others end up paying for the pain others caused. It's not fair that present-day relationships are ruined due to past relationships that caused the pain. It's just not fair. Romantic relationships suffer, friendships suffer and worse, relationships with children suffer.

If an individual can manage their own emotions without trying to control others with their emotions, then success can come, but otherwise the level of success will always be weighed down by too much emotion. It's just too much. Control of the emotions is all it takes. This aspect does not need intimidation factor or threat to control others because all it takes is this wound-up, angry, tearful and pissed off emotional energy to do it. How uncomfortable and unattractive!

If you are suffering from this aspect, you must learn the art of compromise if you are striving to get far in Life and find success. This will not come easy unless you get a break elsewhere in the chart. There has to be a compromise and understanding between egos.

This aspect will also claim a 'need to be heard'. That pretty much means that you will need others to agree with you AND you need the last word. In other words, if someone disagrees, this aspect takes it as not being heard. Honestly, it's maddening for others to enjoy a conversation with this aspect present.

There is a heavy tendency to impose your will on others. The words 'your will' should to be paid close attention to. Keep in mind that others have free will as well and 'get to' NOT listen to being controlled by someone else's emotions. This aspect is incredibly manipulative as Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio, which is THE MOST manipulative sign of the zodiac. Now put that in a square to the Sun and that creates a huge problem with identity, ego and a need to be right.

This is a forceful and domineering position because Pluto has explosive energy. Even dropping a pen on the ground can cause an explosion in temperament. It's heavy folks! There is a tendency to make people over the way you desire them. Instead of making others over, this tendency should be turned inward so that you can make yourself over. This makes it a perfect time to give yourself an internal-make-over.

'Might makes right' will only cause resentment from others and they will just downright dislike the individual who does this. Plain and simple. If the individual carrying this aspect does not like this tough talk, then all I can say is, "How's it feel? Truth hurts." If you can dish it out, then you will have to learn to take it as well.

This aspect is also overly aggressive with the opposite sex. Again, it's a power thing. This Pluto power must be channeled into a more Loving and expressive explosion, rather than implosion of the self.
