Today's Venus quincunx Uranus is a perfect time to address applying and separating degrees once again, which I will get to in a moment.

Venus quincunx Uranus has a hard time with Love. Remember, a quincunx is weird and uncomfortable energy that requires 'an adjustment or change' on our part. This means we have to do something and take action. It REQUIRES an adjustment or change on our part. So you see, you can't just let this energy sit there.

Perhaps you need to just hug it out and get on with Life. Sometimes uncomfortable energy is just that, it needs a hug to shut it up.

Quincunx's only last a couple of days before and after exactness, which is enough to make us feel really weird and uncomfortable and ruin a relationship or a Good time.

A hug changes everything and keeps the pain, frustrations or discomfort from growing larger. A hug with a squeeze to it limits the energy. That's why the tighter the hug, the more we can signal to someone that we are attempting to limit their discomfort. A tight hug has an "I got you" type of feel to it. Dang, you just can't beat a sincere hug.

The problem here is that Uranus, being the natural ruler of Aquarius, usually hugs without touching torsos accompanied by the ol' pat on the back. So it's an aloof and distanced non-emotional hug that kind feels lacking or disconnected. Who can believe a hug that really isn't? If I get a distanced non-emotional hug from someone I Love, I'll say, "Give me a real hug or don't hug me at all."

So the Venus quincunx Uranus aspect has a really hard time feeling comfortable in a relationship, so much so that it starts thinking and then believing that it cannot be in the relationship any longer. This aspect is like the weather, if you wait a few days the feeling will change.

The applying degrees is when the aspect is getting closer and within the 'orb of influence' that we can feel the aspect. That 'feeling' is the 'prodrome', which is the early symptom of the aspect. It's like when you can feel a cold coming on. Everyone can feel a cold coming on, whether they pause long enough to recognize it is another story.

Folks, the applying and separating degrees is your intuition. THAT is your intuition. Everyone has it. No one has been left out of God's intuition gifting. Every single person has aspects in 'applying or separating degrees', which I have indicated in your charts. Every chart that I have ever written from now all the way back to my mid-20's, which is nearly 40 years ago, has this information in them. There is NO FULL CHART that I have ever written where this information was left out.

You ARE able to feel these aspects, whether you recognize it, admit it, or know it. There is no one person on the planet who has not been gifted with the ability to feel these aspects. Whether you honor the feeling and say to yourself, "Hey, I feel that" is a whole other ear of wax.

This is something you can feel quietly within yourself, where you feel that gentle nudge or that whisper. It's the 'still small voice' as written about in 1 Kings 19:11-13. This is the Universe (God, Spirit, Creator) speaking to you through His Guidance System, His very own GPS (God's Positioning System).

The applying degrees means you can feel the energy approaching - Good, bad, indifferent, whatever.

The separating degrees means you will feel either relieved that the aspect is over or refreshed that the energy occurred at all.

And here's the kicker, if you can feel or intuit something bad, then surely you can feel something Good. Do you think God gave you intuition to only feel something bad? That's your choice! You may have yourself so cued into only feeling bad, that you cannot feel, think, much less fathom anything oncoming that is Good thereby keeping that Good thing further away because you won't let yourself feel it. So if you won't let yourself feel it, you don't know what 'it' (the intuition) feels like to bring it closer. Arrrrrghhhhh!

So here comes the Universe with the lesson . . . I'll give you something to cry about! And there you 'get to' experience another hard hit until you finally relent and have had enough of only allowing yourself to see and feel bad stuff. Believe it or not, it's a choice. Remember, in the chart, in the day, there is always a way of escape.

"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." I Corinthians 10:13

So the prodrome is the early symptom of the aspect applying (approaching aspect). Whatever it is representing, you 'can' feel the prodrome. Whether you tune-in is up to you. The separating aspect is the pulling away where the aspect ends its 'orb of influence'.

It's like you know your mother-in-law is coming for a visit. Applying degrees give us that 'intuitive feel' that something is about to happen. She's coming! Whether the mother-in-law is a Good aspect or a hard aspect, we know the day is coming and when she will arrive. We can feel it. We can feel the day she steps on to the plane. We know the plane is in the air. We get the text that says her plane has landed at the airport. She's in the Uber.

The closer the degrees of the aspect get day-by-day, then we will feel the energy pretty much in the same way. As the mother-in-law gets closer, we can feel it even more. The aspect (mother-in-law) gets closer as we feel the energy of her on the highway headed toward the house. She is making the turn and on to the street. We look out the window and see the car coming down the street. It's the day and the time, she has arrived in the driveway.

Are you ready? It's not like you didn't know she was coming. YOU KNEW! Are you ready?

The aspect or the exactness of the energy is when the doorbells rings, you answer the door and she steps inside. The aspect is here!

The moment she steps inside or when the aspect shows up exact is when it also begins to separate, meaning the planning of her departure begins. That would be the separating degrees. The last day of separating degrees is the day she leaves, meaning it's the last day the aspect is present. When separating degrees is over, that is when you are feeling either relieved that the aspect is over or refreshed that it occurred at all. She left the house, she got on the plane and you got the text that the plane landed. It's over!

So you see folks, everyone can sense, feel and tap these energies. You don't even have to know they exist because you already know they exist when you feel them. Maybe you can't name the aspect, but you know something is 'in the air'.

AGAIN, if you can feel or intuit something bad, then surely you can feel something Good. Do you think God gave you intuition to only feel something bad? That's your choice!

Tune-in because the aspects give you insight through your intuition. The aspects ARE intuition. Now if you tune-in and still have major issues with the aspects, then maybe you are not trusting your intuition or paying attention simply because you are not used to it. That's understandable. Or maybe you have not trained your brain to pay attention, or maybe you just do not know your own feelings yet. That's okay too because those are things you can change easily by deciding. It's a decision folks.

Now dig out your Natal Chart and/or Solar Return blow the dust off of them and look at where I listed 'the aspects', which would be under the section called 'Chart Points'. It's after the section called, 'The Houses'. After every single aspect - trine, sextile, square, quincunx, opposition and conjunction, I specifically state the degree of that aspect and whether it is 'applying or separating'. THAT'S INTUITION!!! The closer to 00 degrees the stronger the intuition. It's that simple and that's what you should be trusting and embracing. That's your confirmation.
