The BIG NEWS today is the Virgo Moon is 'still' reminding us of the upcoming transfer of energy from the North Node in Aries and South Node in Libra to the North Node in Pisces and South Node in Virgo on January 11, 2025. The other BIG NEWS today is tomorrow Mercury in Sagittarius turns Retrograde (Rx). Mercury probably gets more press when it turns Rx than any other planet probably because Mercury rules 'the press', reporting, communication, transportation, mental abilities, study, learning and receiving brain input (thinking, thoughts).

Nevermind that Jupiter (abundance, fortune, luck) has been Rx October 9, 2024.

Saturn (the squeeze, limitor, restrictor) has been Rx since June 17, 2024.

Neptune (creativity, imagination, intuition) has been Rx since July 2, 2024.

Uranus (sudden change, rebellion, overturning) has been Rx since September 1, 2024.

The Summer and Fall are ALWAYS loaded with Rx planets. ALWAYS! But it's Mercury that gets all of the Rx press because he rules the press, the news, your phone, the internet, the media, electronics, computers and gadgetry, as well as vehicles and transportation, so that stands to reason and makes sense he would get so much attention when in Rx status. Now think about this, Uranus rules electricity, which is also Rx and Mercury rules electronics, which will turn Rx tomorrow until December 15, 2024. It's really not so 'unusual' (Uranus word) that Uranus and Mercury would be Rx at the same time because Mercury turns Rx three (3) times a year, and sometimes four (4) times if we catch one straddling the first of the year, like in 2022, 2023 and this year 2024.

Uranus Rx's for right at about five (5) months every year so he's bound to catch a Mercury Rx at the same time, so this is not unusual.

Mercury will have his own set of issues taking us for a ride back to Mercury opposing Jupiter (big hat, no cattle). It's all talk and no action. The aspect that always say, "I'm gonna" and yet delivers nothing. It talks (Mercury) a big game (Jupiter). With so many ways to express yourself these days including social media platforms and apps, this aspect will have a hard time getting anything off the ground, but it sure will talk a lot about it.

Keep in mind Mercury is a personal planet and Jupiter is a social or transpersonal planet. So it is the electronics interaction that will prove to be difficult during this Mercury Rx combined with Jupiter Rx.

Even more, Mercury naturally rules Gemini, and Jupiter naturally rules Sagittarius, but with this aspect, Mercury is in Sagittarius and Jupiter is in Gemini. This is called a 'mutual reception', which the planets have traded places with their opposite placement.

Taken from the Astrology Glossary on this website - Mutual receptions are actually beneficial aspects, lending harmony and stability to each, and compensates for the detrimental signification otherwise occurring if either or both planets are in its detriment or fall. So this opposition is actually a Good thing. But how can that be?!?!

Well, this trek over Mercury opposing Jupiter could be a getting back to basics. After what we have been through over many decades nothing should surprise us by now, including censorship and 'misdirection' (Swordfish movie reference), where we have been guided, manipulated and blinded by what movies, alphabet news and teachers who were taught some historical BS, have turned right around and fed us false narratives. Quick Refresher - Jupiter and Saturn are social or transpersonal planets as they sit in-between the personal planets of - the Sun, the Moon, Venus, Mercury and Mars, and the generational planets of - Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. So Jupiter and Saturn bridge the gap between the personal planets and generational planets or between one generation and the next. Make sense?

Mercury opposing Jupiter first showed up on the scene just last week on November 18, 2024. Remember that? Have you been keeping up with the applying and separating degrees of each aspect? Mercury opposing Jupiter (personal and transpersonal) would be affecting us on a social level. Remember, Jupiter is a 'social' or transpersonal planet. This is not a generational aspect, meaning this aspect will rattle us more on a personal level or social level, than it will on a generational level.

This means the younger generation will have a harder time with Mercury opposing Jupiter than older individuals. Older individuals already know what is was like 'when', which means they don't need any practice drills. They already knew what it was like to use a handcrank can opener instead of an electric can opener. Or how we opened a can when the damn handcrank can opener broke. The 20-somethings are going to have the hardest time with this Rx because they know nothing else except electronics, so when electronics foul up, they lose the ever-Loving mind and it must be the end of the world. And what if electronic automobiles go haywire, meaning a total grid down? After all, Mercury naturally rules Gemini and the 3rd house of transportation, vehicles, cars, and shipping clerks, while Jupiter naturally rules Sagittarius and the 9th house of bigger transportation, tractor trailers, semi's, shippers, big shipping trucks and containers.

My imagination says those who purchased hybrid cars at least have an option where those who purchased straight electronic vehicles may have zero options if things get real crazy. And what about companies like Amazon? As we move into Black Friday sales and companies like Amazon who use electronic delivery vans, will this be a problem with Gemini and Sagittarius who rules transportation on all levels? And communication?

And will this impact walkie-talkies or Rapid Radios? Will only electronics that need a battery charge be the issue or will things than run on just batteries (AA, AAA, C, D, etc) be a problem too?

For all of you preppers, you probably already have cash-on-hand for just in case electronics go haywire and the ATM machines don't work. And let's say money is super-tight and you can only spare a little bit of cash-on-hand, then I sure as heck would not be dumping a ton of money electronically on electronics during Mercury Retrograde. If you use up your cash reserves and then ATMs don't work, what then? What's your plan? Remember, gas pumps are also electronic. Rat damn-it! During Mercury Rx keep your gas tank AT LEAST half-full. AT THE VERY LEAST. And if you are going to ride around low in the tank, you might want to rethink that.

I have written to you a couple of times recently this word, 'INCOMING'. And I mean it! Who knows what the hell we are waiting for, but what we do know is whatever we are waiting for, we were waiting for it, and we are ready for it. Huh? I know! At least you should be ready for 'it' even if we aren't quite sure what the heck it is.

Now the younger folk, the 20-somethings, and maybe even the early 30-somethings, if they have never been taught some survival skills from their parents, may have a tough time.

My grandson 'Big Tree' (21 years) has his backpack always at-the-ready because that is what he learned backpacking with me on the A.T. (Appalachain Trail). He has a small portable Jet Boil stove, food, provisions of all sorts in that backpack. He has a sleeping bag that will keep him warm at minus (-20) degrees. I have the same thing in my backpack. He lives in Chicago and he knows the plan if SHTF and what he needs to do if Life goes dystopian. And remember 666iden told us about the long dark winter. Is this winter 'that winter'?

Having said all of this, one thing is for sure, during Mercury Rx we NEVER PURCHASE NEW electronics, vehicles or sign new contracts, much less buy a brand new car and sign a contract!!! Mercury is taking us backward in time, to a time and place of 'before', meaning the past. This gives us a chance to communicate as the planets intended.

If your appliance breaks down during Mercury Rx, that would be typical Mercury Rx thing. See if you can ride it out without buying NEW during Mercury Rx. And if you are forced to make the purchase, make sure the purchase comes with a strong warranty and guarantee.

I have always written to you (since 1999) that I see Rx's as a do-over. A planet in Rx motion takes us backward of the same set of degrees we just traveled through, making it a second pass over a same set of degrees. When a planet turns 'Direct', then it travels back over the same set of degrees a third time. Forward - Backward - Forward. Do you see that? The Universe gives us three (3) chances to do or get something right before we progress forward. We are given this time period to self-reflect, fix, repair, adjust, do-over that which would make our lives easier. We 'get to' do it again, now that we know better.
