The BIG NEWS today is the Sun in Gemini square Jupiter in Pisces. Oh dang! This is a greedy and self-inflated aspect folks and you MUST look inside yourself for clearance (clarity). If you really want to learn Astrology, then you must look at yourself. You must look within. Everything that I do and believe-in challenges me to always look at my BS first. I find anyone who can call themselves out on their own SH-- to be the bravest people in the world. I want to be that kind of brave. Talking tough means nothing. Being confrontational does not necessarily make brave.

Heck, a scared cat backed into a corner hissing and clawing at you will sound brave, but that same cat will also run from you the first chance he gets. SNAP! Right between your legs the cat runs away and hides. Brave? I don't think so. Brave is when you can stand in the fire with yourself and fix that without shrinking back or running away.

This brings me to today's major aspect as the Sun squares Jupiter. Whenever you see this tough and scary aspect, make certain you go with-in and not with-out. Get in yourself! Get in there and look! We have been watching corruption at the deepest levels in government, which is holding and captivating so many's attention. There is a lot of mis-direction occurring and sleight of hand to make you look one way, while something else is going on.

At the same time, as long as you are heavily embedded in a load of 'monster mash', which seeks to misguide and misdirect you, then you can not even come close to looking at your own stuff. Understand this . . . the further away you are from the center of yourself, the further you are away from God. You can still stand for what you stand for and believe in what you believe; and so the word of warning here is to keep yourself close to the center of yourself so you are not so easily thrown off your path and turned into an angry voice that no one wants to listen to or be around. This is a tough aspect and will bring out the worst in yourself.

Let's break this obvious mis-direction down to the finest element, with that being yourself. When you consider THE WORST thing that you think about that corrupts your mind and causes you to act and react, how much more do you think someone with lesser than morals or greater than ego would act and react? Seriously! Use yourself as a barometer.

If you are tempted financially, sexually, emotionally, chemically to do what you do . . maybe have an affair, maybe drink excessively or maybe you want someone else to stop with their immoral actions, but yet you cannot stop smoking or eating to excess. How 'bout that? Who are you?

Maybe the mention of one scene in your Life, or the reminder of someone, becomes a dangling carrot for you to take a bite. Just like the proverbial apple. Hey it happens. Maybe every time you drive by a certain place it makes you think of a certain food and down the path of cruddy eating you go. So if you cannot control that simple act, that simple temptation, how much further do you think someone would go with power and influence or with less than morals? Maybe you are texting or sexting with someone and you believe that to be innocent while you are committed to someone else. If you do that, then how much more will someone with lesser than morals or greater than ego behave?

Honestly, I find people to be incredibly naive. I know what gets my mind rollin' and that is precisely why I keep my brain in-check and protected. YOUR MIND is what you need to wrap your brain around. Your mind is, can and will be easily manipulated at every single turn. "Oh not I" says the fantastic ego, as the ego points to everyone else except the self. Good grief! Be brave enough to confront yourself.

The Sun squaring Jupiter is classic, "Ill-gotten gain." Yeah, just like Judas sold-out Jesus, so too we are tempted to be corrupted. So too are we corrupted to turn nasty and viscious turning on each other at the slightest misstep. Oh that's nice! If we are corrupted to turn on each other so flippin' easy when the going gets tough, or when our poor little sensitive feelings have been roused or hurt, and if we cannot stand in the fire together, then imagine how the self will respond when something really big happens.

Consider the things that roll through your head when such minor causations occur. Are you that easily flipped on someone that you might throw your negative chi' (thoughts) at them or wish ill will. Are you that easily corrupted? Geez, and we are not even talking political here. I'm talking every day living.

Temptation is tough enough to live through without the Sun square Jupiter showing up on the scene. But alas, here it is. Just as Judas could not stand in the fire with Jesus when the going got tough, so too are we easily tricked, tempted and manipulated to turn on each other. When you get tempted to such a level, which isn't much these days, then there is a trade-off. You must babysit your mind folks.

I challenge each of you to look at your own temptations because they are there and you can make your own world a much better and more attractive place to live when go within for your clarity.

We have a political scene of monsters, literally MONSTERS, that are eager to corrupt you. While at the same time, many are being slowly corrupted through their own vices - financially, sexually, emotionally, chemically and spiritually. One tiny little 'word' can get the mind rolling and next thing ya' know someone is acting on that word. Corruption works on each of us that quickly and easily.

This square to Jupiter behaves as though it is a challenge from Saturn, even though it is a square to Jupiter. It is felt the same way because it involves discipline and responsibility. This aspect CLEARLY has a lack of discipline and responsibility, while pushing you and tempting you toward gain and extravagance. That's the dangling carrot. There is a promise of a feel Good - financially, sexually, emotionally, chemically and yes, even spiritually.

Wanting too much too fast creates a fall. You must consider the consequences or responsibility of such gain and extravagance. If you cannot even handle what you have, why should you be given more? If you cannot even clean out your car and take care of it, changing the oil, etc., why should you be given bigger, better or more? If you cannot $10, what should you be given $100. I can give you hundreds of scenarios here but surely you get the picture.

Ill gotten gain can come in many forms. And even long after this aspect leaves the 'orb of influence' we are still faced with ourselves and the weakness to be easily tempted, tricked and manipulated. Note what causes you to go turn dark and ugly so quickly. Be brave enough to stand in the fire with yourself without shrinking back in fear, then maybe you will be strong enough to stand in the fire with someone else and get through 'it' together.

When I think back on the night that Judas sold his soul, the other Apostles could not stay awake with Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane while He prayed and wept. They fell asleep. This was His night of agony and no one, not one single person could stand in the fire with Him. And He was Jesus for Goodness sake! Even the temptation of sleep overtook the other Apostles while Judas was out there making a deal that would make him famous. Hmmmmm, we should all be careful as to how we seek fame or recognition.

I know, "Not I" we all say. Yeah, Peter said that too and he still denied Jesus three (3) times before that damn rooster crow'd three (3) times. All I'm trying to say folks is that it is tough. Temptation, trickery and manipulation are on our path and doing everything it can to make us bite down on the immoral and corrupted piece of bread. Do what you need to do in order to keep your brain clear because any minute, something or someone is doing everything they can to take you off your path. Stand in the fire with yourself and do not shrink back. Be brave, face yourself and fix yourself first. And remember . . the further away you are from the center of yourself, the further you are away from God.
