Well, I already LOVE this day because it's a Capricorn Moon, which is my Natal Moon. This Moon is all business and no monkey business. Capricorn cuts to the chase and gets down to business.

For instance, with new clients, I will let them know right off the bat that I don't do a lot of small talk or ask rhetorical questions, "How are you? How was your day? How was your weekend? How was your Christmas?" Especially for new clients I will say, "I don't do a lot of small talk, let's get down to business." That's a Capricorn Moon for ya'. I like conversation to have meaning, information and knowlege, not just rhetorical jibber-jabber questions that are wasted air time. Heck, we can text small talk. Otherwise, Capricorn is all business and no monkey business.

Keep in mind the Moon rules the emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities. The Moon is Cancer's natural ruling planet. I know, the Moon is 'not' a planet, it is a luminary (a satellite of the Earth). We just call it a planet in Astrology for ease. The sign of Cancer and Capricorn are opposite signs. This means that the Moon is in its opposite sign and THAT my dear Astrotators means that the Moon is in its 'detriment' in the sign of Capricorn. RAT DAMN IT!

The 'detrimental' placement acts out inappropriately at the wrong time and wrong place. This detrimental planet requires restraint. Depending on the planet, will depend on the restraint. The debility and dignity placements have their place in the world. I have certainly learned with my Moon in Capricorn, I don't have to call out everything I see like a Sargeant. I have learned to let one's own words (testimony) speak for itself. I'm 62 years old now and I have learned the Capricorn Moon is very sobering and can flatten the emotions so you can survive, function and get er' done. The gift is the thick-skin, especially if there is reason to silence you. Interesting huh?

I think about this when I think about being silenced in my 'Freedom of Speech' or about the Gospel and teachings of Jesus, The Christ. My Capricorn Moon sure comes in handy. You do understand that one of the purposes of the dark force (devil, satan, baal) is that the Gospel be silenced. Well there ya' go, my Capricorn Moon has some thick skin and I use it. "I use therefore I am" Capricorn Motto.

I have also learned that sometimes its best to let your adversary have the last word and let their testimony speak for itself. It takes some restraint, because the last word does not have to be yours.

Interestingly enough, today begins with the Moon sextile Saturn, which stabilizes and sobers up the emotions. The Moon rules the emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities, which is in its opposite sign and detriment Capricorn. It is making a sextile to Saturn, which naturally rules Capricorn. How wild is this?

So the Moon in its detriment (Capricorn) gets a little help from his own friend and natural ruler Saturn. This is a serious and enjoyable aspect that makes serious business dealings, not so serious, and yet you seriously get the job done. SERIOUSLY!

Then the Moon will trine Jupiter in Taurus creating an emotional abundance. You might be celebrating, toasting or solidifying something Good, that is actually quite serious. Maybe you are going out to lunch. Maybe you are buying because you feel so Good. Maybe you are being treated because they feel so Good. This aspect is very 'Happy Buddha-ish'.

Lastly, the Moon sextiles the Sun, which is a fan-dang-tabulous aspect to end the day. Maybe you missed that celebration at lunch and you are going out to dinner. Maybe you are ordering in pizza on a school night. Maybe whatever occurred today, you need to unwind and be happy. Why? Because NOTHING is as bad as something that is worse."
