Today is a sweet day of aspects, once we get past the 4:51 AM EDT quincunx between the Moon and the Sun. Whenever you see the Sun think, growth, development, improvement, ego and identity. The Sun is symbolized on the chart wheel by a circle with a dot in it. It looks like a bulls eye (target). The Moon is symbolized by the crescent. The Sun is testosterone while the Moon is estrogen.

Quincunx's have a 12 to 14 hour 'orb of influence' just like the other lunar aspects but at least the trines will overcome and overpower any vibrations of this earlier quincunx. Remember quincunx's are weird and uncomfortable energy which require that you make a change or adjustment in order to 'right' the energy, meaning get the energy back on track.

Emotions have a way of messing up a Good thing. So in this instance, the ego (Sun) and the emotions (Moon) need to make an adjustment. It would be wise to remember and note that we are still under the 'orb of influence' until June 9, 2023 of Mars quincunx Saturn that was exact on June 1, 2023 which says, "Dial it down. Adjust your settings".

The Moon will then trine Uranus creating a sudden change in circumstance. All of the sudden the energy shifts, and this would be a Good thing since a trine is sublime. It's one of those aspects that says, "Wait for it, wait for it." This change could easily be something new and different since Uranus is innovative and inventive. Maybe it's an idea you had not quite considered. So, wait for it.

The Moon will then trine Mercury, which brings an easy flow of communication. In fact, this energy is so easy that an individual can easily be manipulated through communication or manipulate others through communication. It's kinda like - flattery will get you everywhere, which is more of a Moon trine Venus thing, but it's the art of communication through emotion (the Moon) that manipulates the mind.

Sales, marketing and promotions use emotions all the time to sell their products. Once you make a connection to an individuals emotions, they usually buy or sign-up. That's why the salesperson wants you to touch, drive, or hold the thing they are selling. They are going for the emotional connection. The salesperson will also nod their head "yes" to get you to nod your head "yes". Mercury rules sales and the 3rd house of Gemini.

The Moon in Capricorn today is a sobering Moon. Think about this for a minute because I'm going to say a few things that will likely upset the emotional crowd, but like anything else with Astrology . . deal with it.

Think of the signs that naturally rule the houses - 1st house (Aries), 2nd house (Taurus), 3rd house (Gemini), 4th house (Cancer), 5th house (Leo), 6th house (Virgo), 7th house (Libra), 8th house (Scorpio), 9th house (Sagittarius), 10th house (Capricorn), 11th house (Aquarius) and 12th house (Pisces).

The chart wheel is broken down into Quadrants. 1st Quadrant - 1st, 2nd, 3rd house. 2nd Quadrant - 4th, 5th, 6th house. 3rd Quadrant - 7th, 8th, 9th house. 4th Quadrant - 10th, 11th, 12th house.

The way the Moons roll in the order of the houses will dictate just how personal your take on things are. Those who have a Moon in the 1st Quadrant really take things personal. It can be maddening and often times too much for those with Moons in the 3rd or 4th Quadrant because their emotions are more removed from the self and geared more toward humanity, ideals and missions. The exception is Pisces, which is in the 4th Quadrant, with the exception being since the 12th house of Pisces brings us back to ourselves for self-reflection. This is also where we have developed compassion, empathy and sympathy at deep levels.

So today we experience a Moon in Capricorn, which is my Natal Moon. The Moon in Capricorn and the Moon in Aquarius are known for being cold, aloof and emotionally distant because the 'self' and 'selfish' emotions have moved beyond the self.

These two (2) Moons will NOT tiptoe AT ALL, but they will distance themselves from the one who needs to feel hurt and wronged over every little thing. These two (2) Moons will not apologize all the damn time for unintended or unintentional personal takes. Folks, it ain't gonna happen.

The Moon in Capricorn and Aquarius WILL NOT cater to poor-me-syndrome or victim play or everyone is always picking on me type-of-thing. It just isn't going to happen. In fact, this Capricorn Moon is like a sargeant, more like a general, that will make you do push-ups for whining over poor-you.

If you have a sensitive Moon by looking at the Quadrants, you might want to take a long cold hard look because it's a long way around the chart wheel to mature past everything being about your feelings. These sensitive Moons can cause you to always be on-the-outs with someone, in fact, lots of someone's. After all, the Moon rules the emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities.

The Moon in Capricorn (today) and the Moon in Aquarius (upcoming next few days) are not intentionally cruel, instead they are serious, flat and pretty much matter-of-fact. These two (2) Moons have moved on to populations of people, not individuals.

Maybe a more delicate Moon needs explanation, apology and nursing all the time, but the Moon in Capricorn and Aquarius will neither cater, coddle or care. Instead, ya' gotta grow up and stop whining.

The Moon in Capricorn we see in the movies where someone slaps a screamer across the face to sober up their emotions. The screamer needs to get ahold of their emotions or they will be left behind for the bears to eat. Sorry, not sorry.

The Moon in Capricorn (like today) and the Moon in Aquarius (the next couple of days) are more concerned with the public at large, rather than each individuals feelings. Ya' gotta grow up and get over yourself. You just do. We are coming into some hard times, and hurt feelings will not help.
