The BIG NEWS today is the Moon moves into Cancer at 1:49 AM EDT until Friday - June 3, 2022 at 2:36 PM EDT. That's 2-1/2 solid days of the Moon in this moody, hyper-emotional and over-sensitive sign.

Last month, on Friday - May 6, 2022 I wrote a lot of extra information about the the Moon in Cancer simply because this lunar influence is so often mishandled, mischanneled, misplaced and misdirected. It's hard enough dealing with the Moon changing signs every 2 to 2-1/2 days and messing with our emotions without it having to spend time in the sign of Cancer for that long.

I find it so important to get a handle on the Moon in Cancer that I'm going to take the information off the write-up on Friday - May 6, 2022 and create a page that stands alone so you can always look back and refer to that page in order to use the Moon in Cancer as it was intended.

You may not like these words but that's not my problem as they are all intended to be used in the same way as discernment, so here goes . . . you will need use - discernment, discrimination, judgment, taste, refinement, sophistication, awareness, intelligence, acumen, perception, shrewdness, cleverness, cultivation and subtlety, in order 'to feel' your way through Life. We are all moving through Life with our 'feelers' out, like Cancer the crab using all of those arms and legs, and you get to choose how you want to 'feel' and what you want to 'feel'. It's a choice! I'm not talking about emotionally, but yes that too, I'm talking about intuitively.

The Cancer Moon is so incredibly intuitive that it often gets mishandled, mischanneled, misplaced and misdirected. Remember, Cancer is THE MOST moody, emotional and sensitive sign of the zodiac. Then land the Moon there, which rules the emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities and the energy turns into walking on eggshells and being ultra-nuclear careful not to upset the energy.

The older you are, then the more experience you should have with this Moon when it comes into the picture. The older you are, you should know how to handle yourself, even when others do not know how to handle themselves around this lunar influence.

I was recently in the presence of someone with a natal Cancer Moon who spent the entire time letting EVERYONE know what results in stress for them, what brings on anxiety, and what will give this person a panic attack. The unloading went on and one and on. It was the biggest unyielding, unending, unrelenting and unloading of mischanneled energy that I have ever seen. But see, that's what the natal chart can teach you. You can 'choose' to use the negative or positive side of any 'planet in a sign' or any aspect that is rattling the energy around you. CHOOSE!

When this Cancer Moon is handled, channeled, placed and directed in the proper way, it is HIGHLY intuitive, insightful, mindful, natural, unlearned, instinctual, innate, automatic and organic as it can possibly be. All too often this Moon is channeled into a personal attack and emotional hyper-sensitivity. This Moon takes personal sensitivity to a new level. In other words, IT TAKES EVERYTHING personal, even things that are not even directed at the person taking it personally. IT WASN'T ABOUT YOU!!!!

This Moon can be maddening, frustrating and too much for those who have to put up with the constant unsettling nature of the Moon in Cancer. This Moon is crabby, cantankerous, crotchety, curmudgeon, miserable, touchy, grouchy, prickly, sour, chippy and snappy.

But what if you CHOSE to be intuitive, insightful, mindful, natural, unlearned, instinctual, innate, automatic and organic. You can do that! You can simply choose the more positive side of the Moon in Cancer. You can do that with any New Moon, Full Moon or Moon under the influence of any of the twelve (12) signs.

I tend to see a lot of angst when certain Moons are posted, or when there is a Full Moon or an eclipse. It's almost like people have already decided how they are going to embrace the Moon and the big "uh oh" sets in. If you get rattled by a Full Moon or eclipse or Cancer Moon or whatever Moon, then that's on you. That's your CHOICE!

When it comes to the Cancer Moon, I will CHOOSE - intuitive, insightful, mindful, natural, unlearned, instinctual, innate, automatic and organic, every dang time.

So today, the Moon in Cancer will square, sextile and then square again, all within the first half of the day. It could prove to be 'emotional' unless of course you chose to be 'intuitive'. The motto for Cancer is, "I feel therefore I am". So which is it, emotional or intuitive? Choose! No one makes you anything . . . you choose!

Since the Moon squares Jupiter first thing this morning, you may choose to overeat or eat sweets or do something that results in over-abundance. Choose! Hold yourself back from over-reacting.

The Moon will then sextile Venus, which is a great time for females to connect. If you need to make a call or get an answer from someone, this is the time to do it, but be mindful that the Moon sextile Venus is sandwiched by two (2) squares. The crankiness will be out in force to squash the intuition and Good vibes.

Lastly, the Moon will square Mars, creating tension between the two (2) sexes (genders).

Side note - Astrology does not use a multitude of genders (people do), so DO NOT count on me to use any genders other than male and female. The confusion in one's identity will show up in the chart, but not in the way it is showing up in the world today.

So the two (2) opposing energies of estrogen and testosterone, or feminine and masculine, or male and female, or in and out, or up and down, or this and that, will not be vibing in the afternoon hours. CHOOSE to land on and embrace the Moon sextile Venus where the energy is kind, nice, sweet and friendly.

If you choose to be intuitive, insightful, mindful, natural, unlearned, instinctual, innate, automatic and organic, you will be. Simple as that!
