If you have been keeping up with the July 2023 Astro Memes then you already know that the BIG NEWS today is the Full Moon in Capricorn at 11 degrees 18 minutes. Click the Full Moon Astro Meme and you will see the downloadable chart wheel for this Full Moon. The Sun is in Cancer at 11 degrees 18 minutes and the Moon is in Capricorn at 11 degrees 18 minutes. The Sun and the Moon are in opposing signs, which means they are in opposing houses.

Let's retrace our steps with the Full Moon in Capricorn. In 2020 (July 5) the Full Moon in Capricorn was at 14 degrees, in 2021 (June 24) the Full Moon in Capricorn was at 03 degrees, in 2022 (July 13) the Full Moon in Capricorn was at 21 degrees, today's Full Moon in Capricorn is at 11 degrees, and in 2024 (July 21) the Full Moon in Capricorn will be at 29 degrees. Since 2020 the ebb and flow of the Moon have been 14 degrees - 03 degrees - 21 degrees - 11 degrees and finally 29 degrees in 2024.

Notice there is a building-up of energy, as if the Moon is pumping itself to fully-full-ness at its maximum 29 degrees in 2024. Think of Capricorn as 'the builder'. Cancer is 'the nester' and Capricorn is 'the builder'. Opposing signs are alike but opposites. Opposing signs are the 'The Law of Similars' in Homeopathy. Nature, the Cosmos, Life has a rhythm, an ebb and a flow. You can see it in the pumping (back-and-forth) of the Moon.

Interestingly enough, the Full Moon in Capricorn is pumping-up overtime to culminate at 29 degrees in the final stretch of Pluto in Capricorn. Even though Pluto will be in Aquarius at 00 degrees during the Full Moon in Capricorn next Summer 2024, it will be Retrograde heading back to 29 degrees Capricorn. So next Summer 2024 the Full Moon in Capricorn will be accompanied by a conjunction (intensifying energy) from Pluto to the Moon and an opposition to the Sun. It's gonna be wild. Each Summer of heat, gets steamier and hotter by the powers that be (Capricorn, authority figures).

The collection of planetary aspects such as the final degrees of the outer (generational) planets - Neptune, Uranus and Pluto, along with the notable pumping-up of emotional energy over time assures us that - "We ain't seen nuttin' yet." It's a long road to justice folks, but Justice is coming.

On July 17, 2023 the Nodes will shift. The North Node will move out of Taurus and into Aries, and the South Node will move out of Scorpio and into Libra. This shift in Nodes will last 1-1/2 years and will end on January 11, 2025. Libra rules 'Justice' and it will be a never-ending bottomless pit of Justice. Hallelujah! Scorpio was a bottomless pit of investigations, secrets, and the like, Libra assures us that we will see the perps march. So, we have a lot to look forward but it's gonna be ugly. Keep in mind that this Capricorn Moon is tough. It's a sergeant, but quite honestly it's more like a general. Capricorn energy can and will make decisions. Ready or not, the decision is made. You wanna cry? This Moon will give you something to wimper, whine and cry about!

While the Moon in and of itself is emotional, when in the sign of Capricorn it becomes a sobering Moon. That'll straighten your ass up. WHAP! How's that for a sobering approach. In other words, it will sober up your emotions FAST! All the sudden you stop crying like someone slapped you in the face and you suddenly got your act together. This Capricorn Moon serves us by 'sobering up' the emotions and causing us to get serious about our situation, circumstances and causes.

If you are aren't going to stand up, THEN SIT DOWN, and get the 'F' out of the way! You have to sober-up and I mean that in an emotional sense, not an alcohol sense, but yeah, that too.

I suspect a lot of people had a 'Come to Jesus' moment over the past several days with power outages, no generator and a lot of food spoiling in the refrigerator. Prayerfully, since you have been instructed for SO LONG to be prepared for 'any uncontrollable event', you followed that advise and invested in a generator or some sort of back-up plan, like canning and dehydrating, in order to preserve your food before such an event happened. Times such as things bring the, "Told'ja so-ers" out of the woodwork and I can't say that I blame them, cause told'ja so.

I always say this Capricorn Moon is much like Sally Fields character (the mother of Julia Roberts) in the movie Steel Magnolia's. At the end of the movie Sally Fields is in the graveyard sobbing over the loss of her daughter and suddenly she snaps out of it and says, "I gotta get back. Has anyone got a mirror."

This lunar influence is perfect for sobering up this month with the Cancer Sun so that you can focus on the task(s) at hand, which is the full-fill-ment of the Capricorn Moon. And you can see from the above, there is a culmination occurring. It looks as though the Universe (God) is preparing your soul for hard times by looks of the pattern of the Full Moon in Capricorn (during the Summer) over time. That's how you read ahead.

Folks, we know how the story ends, don't we? GOD WINS! We know God wins, but it's scary until then. So since you know there will be harder times, toughen up with this Capricorn Moon and straighten-up.

It's no secret, I have a Capricorn Moon and I can tell you personally, this Moon sobers (staightens) up fast. It doesn't matter if you are drunk or emotionally nuts. There is no doubt, I get over whacked emotions fast and even better, I can't even remember that I was angry five minutes ago. What can I say, it's a gift!

So this Full Moon in Capricorn has a very sobering impact. It can sober up your emotions and cause you to think straight when you or someone else starts falling off the deep end or if you are facing an emotional overload.

This Capricorn Moon isn't suspicious, it's skeptical. There is a BIG difference between suspicious and skeptical because the emotions that drive suspicion and skepticism are not the same. Both words 'question' but come from different emotions. I am a very skeptical person and typically do not believe anything the first time around. My natural response is, "Yeahhhh, riiiiight!" and then I need sources, references and proof.

This Full Moon's intention is to sober you up so you can get serious about that New Moon you began back on December 23, 2022. Did you forget what that was? Did you lose your focus? Did you lose your way? Did that New Moon have something to do with a New Year's resolution? It's not too late to get yourself back on track, sober up and get serious about your Life again. DO IT!

We are now halfway through 2023 and that New Moon's intention. GACK! There's that word, 'intention', which is my second least favorite word ever. My all-time least favorite word is 'potential' as both 'intention and potential' pretty much mean you just haven't done it yet. Those words just sit there like lumps until you take action. Get up and put some shoulder (movement, action) into your intentions and potential, otherwise they are just dreamy words. Having said that, there is still time to get straight and fly right before the next New Moon in Capricorn hits on January 11, 2024.

The Sun is testosterone (masculine) and the Moon is estrogen (feminine). So here we have a tug of war between mommy and daddy or two opposing energies that are strongly masculine and strongly feminine. You may feel this tug-of-war in a relationship or within yourself. Remember this? . . . "Go ask your mom." . . . "Go ask your dad." As a kid, how frustrating was that? I always wanted to scream, "Someone make a damn decision!" Remember, Capricorn is quite capable of making decisions.

Cancer rules the mother and Capricorn rules the father. Cancer is the nurturer and Capricorn is the disciplinarian. Cancer says, "Come here and let me give you a hug." Capricorn says, "Pull yourself up by the bootstraps!" Cancer is sensitive and Capricorn is insensitive. Cancer is intuitive and Capricorn is skeptical. Cancer is nurturing and Capricorn disciplines. Cancer identifies emotionally and Capricorn identifies materialistically. Cancer feels what is invisible, and Capricorn feels what is visible. Cancer rules inside the home (domestic affairs) and Capricorn rules outside the home (career and status in the community).

Think of 'Doubting Thomas' who was the Apostle who did not believe Jesus rose from the dead. Thomas said, "Unless I see the nail marks in His hands, and put my finger where the nails have been, and put my hand into His side, I will never believe." ~John 20:25.

And then the biggie! Jesus shows up and says to Thomas, "Put your finger here and look at My hands. Reach out your hand and put it into My side. Stop doubting and believe." Thomas was like . . . SOLD! (winky wink) Ahhhh, that makes me laugh.

Do you remember last year's Full Moon in Capricorn was on July 13, 2022 when Pluto was in Capricorn at 27 degrees 30 minutes. That was significant because on July 4, 1776 the U.S. Declaration of Independence was 'adopted' and Pluto was in Capricorn at 27 degrees 33 minutes during the day and later in the day at 27 degrees 32 minutes. So we were essentially in the same energy of Pluto in Capricorn as in 1776, it was only off exactness by 7 days . . . July 4, 1776 to July 11, 2022 when it was back to 27 degrees 33/32 minutes.

And get this, the 27 degree Pluto mark is NOT OVER!!! Pluto has retrograded back into Capricorn, it is currently at 29 degrees and will retrograde back to 27 degrees between September 19, 2023 and October 31, 2023, which you can see from the Pluto in Capricorn Transiting Degree Calendar page.

Back then, in 1776 during that time period Pluto was in Capricorn at 27 degrees. Talk about history repeating itself.
