The BIG NEWS today is A LOT! For starters the Moon is in Aries getting us up and at 'em. This morning I thought, what is wrong with me that I am taking Katie's Power Yoga virtual class this morning. She's tough, but there I was at 5:15 AM sweatin' my ass off. I may be up between 3:45 AM and 4:15 AM every day, but that in no way means I want to do power yoga at that hour, but then there I was doing power yoga.

I attribute this to Aries Moon burning off some energy. At the same time, Mars moves into Virgo today and I'm really feeling the energy. Virgo is my North Node and Virgo is the sign that rules physical health, the daily regimen, the daily grind, fitness, health, hygiene and the daily routine and scheduling. Virgo makes you want to take better care of yourself on a physical level. It's opposing sign (Pisces) rules mental health.

Virgo is also the sign that is detailed, methodical, precise, analytical, critical, flaw-finding, intent on accuracy and making the mark 'exactly'. Virgo is all about hitting the bull's eye, not to the right or to the left of center, but dead center. Virgo is the marksman, who not just shoots well, the marksman shoots with pinpoint accuracy.

Virgo is the sign that is so detailed that if all bases are not covered, then someone could get injured, die or go broke. No shit! Virgo rules engineering, doctors and accounting, all of which require insane accuracy to the point of obsession over the details. No one is pinpoint accurate all the time, but Virgo energy will take you pretty damn close if not right on the mark.

Virgo is the sign of 'the specialist', which is the doctors doctor or the 'special ops special forces' individual who is called in to fix it all or take care of the details. This brings us to Mars opposing Jupiter, just before Mars moved into Virgo at 4:32 AM EDT, Mars was still in Leo and opposed Jupiter in Aquarius exact at 11:50 AM EDT. This opposition began in applying degrees on July 15, 2021, it is exact today, and will last in separating degrees until August 12, 2021. Even though Mars was still in Leo before today and Jupiter was still in Pisces yesterday, the 'orb of influence' was still close enough that they were opposing each other as of July 15, 2021.

Let's remember that Mars is all out competition, full throttle, pressed down and running over. Mars intends on winning. There is no other option, but to win. Mars considers itself the victor before the game, war or competition even begins. Mars sees itself on the podium accepting a bouquet of roses, adorned with a crown of laurel leaves and wearing the medal of distinction.

Jupiter is friendly, adventurous, has religion and a strong philosophic backbone. Jupiter is on a crusade or a cause that it promotes without apology, hesitation or reservation. Jupiter is opinionated and has a high sense of purpose.

Celebrities or 'characters' who have this in their natal chart are - Rambo character (the U.S., military, veterans), George Clooney (actor, Congo cause) and Richard Gere (actor, Tibet cause). This aspect is the 'Soldier of Fortune' or 'The Mercenary' who acts out of motivation for their own self-interest. I am really really really hoping that these two (2) signs step up to the plate and lead the charge on this one. Mercury is in Leo right now and pressing on Leo's to step up or shut up. Get loud! It is likely through time they have gotten to know themselves better along their spiritual progression path and made peace with this aspect. I'm just saying, remain mindful of 'the cause' and who it is you serve. Yourself or God?

Also, since Jupiter e-x-p-a-n-d-s whatever it touches, and Mars naturally rules self-absorbed and self-concerned Aries, this aspect expands the individual's view of the self causing boasting and bragging. Please! Get your story straight and who you serve! It's quite possible you will boast about how important and necessary you are to others. "If it weren't for me!" Really?
