The BIG NEWS today is Venus conjuncts Saturn and Uranus in Taurus turns 'Direct'. Venus conjunct Saturn is such a bummer of an aspect. It's just RATTY! For starters, Venus is not in its most cuddly placement in the sign of Aquarius. It's not in its detriment or its fall, so that's Good. It's just not where you want it to be if you need a lot of affirmation or recognition that you are Loved. If you need cuddles, I hope you have a furry friend to Love.

Venus in Aquarius is similar to cat Love, who can take it or leave it on any given breath. Saturn is in his ancient placement in the sign of Aquarius, so he is quite comfortable here. Uranus, which is turning 'Direct' today is Aquarius's modern-day ruler.

So here we have Saturn taking off his belt and wrapping it around Venus in Aquarius, which would 'not' normally faze Venus in Aquarius on any other given day. It's just that today Saturn is right on top of Venus, conjunct, intensifying the energy of the planets involved. So the Love that Venus in Aquarius is able to express, is limited by the rings of Saturn. He has taken off his belt and limited the expression of Love, not only the ability to show Love, but the ability to receive Love.

Think about this for a moment, Venus conjunct Saturn may not even be about you. Maybe this aspect has to do with someone you Love, who is not feeling the Love, but you don't know it.

I have this little saying, "Sometimes I don't want to go to the party, I just want to be invited." Who wants to be left out or not chosen?

Venus in Aquarius needs space and Saturn in Aquarius feels left out. There's a contradiction right there!

Venus represents Love and self-worth, which translates into net-worth and personal finances and earned income, while Saturn squeezes and puts a limitation on what it will give. It's withholding Love or feels like Love is being withheld from it. You only get 'this much' attention or a half-ass hug, which feels less than the amount you really wanted.

This energy can easily be channeled into self-care, rather than holding others responsible for how you feel about yourself. Whoa! Right! Read that pill again and then swallow it. That is a lot of power one is willing to hand over to someone else. "I dub thee responsible for how I feel about myself." Can you see how ridiculous that sounds, to put your self-worth in someone else's hands? They did not disempower you, you did, by agreeing to it. Well I guess that'll be enough of that, huh?

When you make someone else responsible for your feelings, that means that person has control over you. The shift of power has transferred from you, to them.

And another thing, I will poke your 'Third Eye' right now and tell you DO NOT do that to someone else. DO NOT disempower someone else with - guilt, shame, embarrassment, sadness, loneliness, etc. That is a 'karmic ticket' that you will have to pay.

So the more you disempower others, the more you will be disempowered because you are in a disempowering mindset.

It's a Catch-22 situation. It's a contradiction that feeds itself. Haven't you heard the phrase, "For a quick pick-me-up, pick-up someone else."

What would really be great to do with this energy is spend time with your passion. Since Venus is involved then the artist within is present. This aspect is especially favorable to sculptors, painters, musicians, composers and song writers.

Since Venus naturally rules Libra (blind justice) and Saturn rules discipline and responsibility, this can serve you well in the laws of man or in the laws of nature. In other words, follow the rules. Saturn is the planet of the authority figure, so there may be 'daddy issues' that arise with this aspect. You want to be cuddled, but there is a strictness in the air.

This aspect can also be channeled into creating more money, as Saturn is involved, which is actually quite ambitious. Saturn rules Capricorn and the Billy goat is set on climbing the mountain. There is a lot to be done with this aspect present. It's really not so bad, unless you are set on making someone responsible for your self-worth.

Maybe you focusing on them, not focusing on you, is really about you focusing on you, and not really about them not focusing on you. Interesting. Ouchy! So is that productive or unproductive? Is it self-centered or self-aware? Either way, it's some juicy thinking.

Venus square Saturn's self-worth is being rattled, which in turn impacts one's net-worth. Maybe you are feeling so lonely or pitiful that you go shopping to compensate. It happens. Also today, Uranus in Taurus turns 'Direct'. This ought to feel like the parking brake has been released, so much so that it feels like a clunk, that something is shifting. It will take Uranus a couple of weeks to get back up to normal speed, which is moving about 03 or 04 minutes a day when it's really in its groovy. Needless to say, but I'll say it anyway, it takes a while for Uranus to move just 01 degree since there are 60 minutes in a degree.

Uranus will pretty much wobble in place (stationary) at 14 degrees 56 minutes until January 27, 2023 and then it will move to 14 degrees 57 minutes until January 30, 2023. Then it will wobble in place at 14 degrees 58 minutes for two (2) days. And then wobble in place at 14 degrees 59 minutes for another two (2) days. And then once February begins, Uranus will start picking up speed and move one (1) minute a day until he gets back to moving about 03 or 04 minutes a day.

So Uranus will finally move along at its normal clip near the end of February. Until then . . . you should be able to hear, see and feel the financial changes coming.

Uranus is the great-awakener, the rebel-rouser, the agent of change and the tilted planet. Uranus is the oddball of the planets. And remember yesterday, I wrote about my friend Christine (Aquarius) turned completely upside down in the back seat in a state of rebellion on a road trip back home to Cherokee, North Carolina with friends Steve (Aquarius) and Cherie (Scorpio). Uranus 'direct' is shifting and righting itself as upright as Uranus can manage. It's like being in neutral before shifting gears.

We can expect BIG CHANGES coming in the tech world and impacting it financially. Folks, the money is shifting. So what are you going to do with this information?

This past Friday, Google announced 12,000 people are being laid off, Microsoft is laying off 10,000 people. Amazon is laying off 18,000 people. Coinbase (crypto) is laying off 950 people. Vox Media is laying off 130 people. Wayfair is laying off 1,750 people. Capital One is laying off 1,100 people. Teladoc is cutting 6 percent of its staff. Vimeo, Stitch Fix, BlackRock, DirecTV and more. Have you prepped yet?

Again I ask, "What are you going to do with this information?" You are reading this Daily Horoscope because you want to see ahead, correct? So you can skate to where the puck will be, right? Why skate to where the puck has been?

This reminds me of years ago, before I was writing Solar Returns, and before I was emailing charts, I looked at my Solar Return and I could see there was all kinds of busy coming my way that upcoming Summer. It all had to do with office type of clerical work. Lots of paper, communication, writing, writing, writing and more writing. What was going on that I was shuffling so many papers?

In order to prepare, it finally dawned on me that I could put the reports on CD and mail the CD to the client and that would save 'clerical' type of work. Funny huh, back in the day before emailing pdf, CDs came in the mail. And before that I was printing out and snail-mailing charts. No kidding! Some people out there have charts with my handwritten notations all over them. I've been doing this a long long time.

Anyway, my point . . . I saw chaos ahead and took action. The chaos was still going to come, but at least I had prepared myself for it five (5) months in advance. Turns out, when the Summer hit, my website took a flying leap and became super-busy and new traffic was arriving. I was still busy as my Solar Return said I would be, and I was prepared to handle it. The stress was minimal because I was ready, able, willing, prepared and skated to where the puck was going to be.

Folks, that is why we study Astrology and look for patterns. How did you handle it before and how will you handle it now?

It's like relationships, we have a pattern, and each time we couple-up, the relationship gets progressively better until we are matched with our match.

I was reading a client yesterday and describing her perfect match, which sounded like her former husband. She was able to see the pattern of attraction and how those same wonderful qualities she liked, would be found in the next relationship and the next relationship and the next . . until the pattern was just right with all the sprinkles, whipped cream and cherry on top.

So folks, as Uranus turns 'Direct' there will be changes. Some of these people are going to roll with the changes. A lot of them are going to skate to where the puck will be. They will level up and they will create and manifest their next best thing.

Prayerfully during these abundant years of working from home and not using personal transportation, not having to buy dress clothes, eat out for lunch or buy over-priced breakfast, prayerfully these individuals saved their abundance for a rainy day.

Years ago, an acquaintance of mine was laid off from her job. Two (2) years went by and she still did not have a job. She was a super-friendly, smiling and joyful individual. One day I said, "How do you do it?" You do not seem worried or in lack?" She said, "Well, I saved for a rainy day, and it's raining!" My point is, she prepared and skated to where the puck was going to be.

It does not take Astrology to see head and plan for it, but using Astrology we can see ahead and plan for it. You do not have to wait for the pink slip. We can see on paper or on our screen, what is coming. SKATE! No matter what you do, that thing is still going to happen, but how you handle it, and what you create out of it part of 'the mission'. That's the juice in the nugget. Should you decide to accept this mission, you will be rewarded. Sometimes the award is not immediate, but the payoff will eventually come.

So make like a tube of toothpaste and squeeze. As I state in the Uranus in Taurus write-up:

Notice the cross in the middle. The cross of matter. Matter is that which is physical substance, which is different from the mind and spirit. Matter is being confined from both sides pressing on it, almost like it is being squeezed, as if two (2) walls were coming closer together and closing in on 'matter' thereby confining the space of matter. It's almost as if 'the matter' is being squeezed out or erased.

Often times Uranus will give you the feeling of being squeezed out or erased from something only to squirt you into a different direction. Sometimes being squeezed out is exactly what you need. As the squeeze continues, our spirit from the bottom circle will reveal what we are made of and we begin pushing up on 'matter'. It's just like squeezing toothpaste out of a tube. The spirit (our spirit) engages, pushes on matter and shows us just what we are made of and what we can do with our lives. I LOVE THIS GLYPH!

So folks, do not fear, change means you are being squeezed and pushed further or maybe even into another direction. Maybe you would not fly unless you were pushed out of the nest.

Uranus has 'force' attached to its change. So you can remember Uranus by the toothpaste visual and being squeezed out through a force that will result in change. FORCED CHANGE. A tube of toothpaste is just a tube of toothpaste, and only when you apply force on the tube will you be able experience the cool fresh gelatinous experience.

Now for another juicy nugget. Uranus is 'not' a personal planet like - the Moon, the Sun, Venus, Mercury and Mars. Uranus is a 'generational planet' like Neptune and Pluto, which is impacting generations of people, the masses all at once.

I have been writing to you over the past week that Mercury in Capricorn (sober-minded thinking) turned Direct on January 18th and then Mercury will change signs on February 11, 2023 and move into Aquarius (the masses), on the same date that Pluto in Capricorn hits 29 degrees (authority figures fall from Grace) as they have been doing for quite some time.

Folks, I would not 'wait for it' with 'it' being the awakening of the masses. You look ahead, read ahead, look ahead in your Natal Chart, look ahead in your Solar Return and #PrepYoAss and #PrepYoSelf. Just as I did years ago and prepping for the Summer of what I didn't yet know, but had a pretty clear direction.

Back in 2022 I wrote a big handful of times that nearly every 2022 Solar Return would have three (3) to five (5) months of nothing going on. Pretty much a collection of months where there was no action, no leads and no answers. Empty houses where nothing was going on. We all went through that. Some panicked, some did not, some got pissed, but at least kept moving forward.

During my months of 'blah', I stayed busy and creative. I learned and learned and learned and learned and learned. I feel like I learned everything YouTube videos could teach me. I put my brain to work. I learned one thing after another. I learned until I could repeat a process forward, backward and forward again.

When I use to tutor Algebra in college, I knew my student knew the information when they could teach me back. That's when we moved on. The student teaching the teacher we know from simple philosophy, that is a full circle moment for both the student and the teacher.

During my 'blah', I learned how to plant and grow potatoes indoors during the winter. I learned how to bake my own bread and make my own tortillas. I learned how to water glass eggs. I banged out months of Astro Memes in advance for you. I was busy, productive, creative and accomplished during my 'blah' months. In fact, my 'blah' months were not 'blah' at all because I crammed in so much, stepped on it and then crammed in some more.

So let's look ahead again. The parking brake comes off Uranus today, which is rebellion-hellion, in the sign of Taurus, which is personal self-worth and net-worth.

I know an acquaintance who recently pulled the plug on a super long friendship/relationship where the person was holding finances over the individual's head as a form of control. The individual finally said, "F that! I don't care how much money you have, you will NOT treat me that way anymore!" And that was that. Days later, wonderful financial things began to happen for this individual because this person finally learned the lesson of self-worth, which was now translating and showing up their Life as net-worth. The relationship between self-worth and net-worth is REAL.

Now folks listen, a lot of people are going to be waking up at the same time as Uranus turns 'Direct', Mercury as the sober mind in Capricorn operates like smelling salts, then Mercury moves into Aquarius (the masses) and Pluto in Capricorn rattles the mountain and shakes those who are standing at the top.

Those suddenly waking up will suddenly realize they are not ready for the 'what if's' in Life. There is a lot of 'suddenly' going around, right? Uranus is the planet of 'sudden changes in circustances' and 'lightning fast change'.

The awakening is going to be huge and roll out like dominoes. The prepping will pick up speed, in all forms - whether that is prepping and "saving for a rainy day", whether that is prepping for grid down or a SHTF event, or inflation, or shrinkflation, or whether that is due to some other 'foreseen' circumstance. You have your charts, right?

Do not get caught with your pants down. Your Solar Return details the 'blah' down time months where nothing is happening and where you can learn, grow and prep to be ahead, instead of behind.

Stay on top of your Solar Returns and #PrepYoAss because when everyone else panics and scrambles for the puck, you will have already skated to where the puck is going to be.

As a side note, look at the list of 2023 Planetary Retrogrades to the right. Notice that as of January 18, 2023, there are NO PLANETS RETROGRADE up until April 21, 2023 when Mercury will Retrograde 'again'.

So you can expect a lot of awareness, quickness, steadfast forward change, from the masses as they begin to awaken from their slumber-fairy-dust-sleep. There's going to be a lot of, "Oh sh!t".

This is the time to press on the gas and cram as much productivity you can in a short period of time. Oh right up my alley. Cram 55 lbs. in a 5 lb. can. Folks, it is time to put on your skates because it's a power play. All the skaters are on the ice and you have a chance to score some points with the Universe. Cram as much as you can and get as much accomplished as you can before April 21, 2023. We will take a look back then at today's writing when the time comes.
