The BIG NEWS today is Mercury Retrograde (Rx) in Capricorn quincunx's Mars in Gemini creating 'so' many ideas and 'too' many plans.

Note the Rx shortcut for retrograde. When you look at your Natal Chart or Solar Return, you may see the Rx glyph one or a few times. That means that 'planet in a sign' was retrograde when you were born, or will be retrograde during your Solar Return. Don't freakout, that's just drama and it's juvenile. I always will believe that God gives us a second and third chance to do something over, in order to get it right, before we progress forward. Retrogrades are a do-over and if you follow any transiting degree calendar on this website, you will see that is the case.

Since this is a Mercury Rx repeat aspect, then I will treat it as such in order to 'teach the point' and 'drive the point' home. What I mean by that is, when Mercury turned Rx back on December 29, 2022 and took us over the same set of degrees it caused some aspects to repeat themselves. The Mercury in Capricorn quincunx Mars in Gemini has arrived for a repeat performance. This is when you should check in with your Life and see just how well you are doing where this aspect is concerned.

You will see Mercury trine Uranus return for a repeat performance on January 29, 2023. The same thing happened with Mercury sextile Neptune.

With regard to this transit of Mercury in Capricorn, The first time this aspect hit was back on December 15, 2022. Today is the second time. Mercury turns 'Direct' tomorrow, Wednesday - January 18, 2023, which means Mercury quincunx Capricorn will hit one more time on Friday - January 20, 2023 creating three (3) of the same aspect in such a short period of time.

So pay attention to what this aspect is telling you because there HAS TO BE some reason why God is bringing us to, through and over this aspect not once, not twice, but three (3) times. Sometimes we have to have something crammed into our thick skulls before we get it.

This aspect shows us that Mercury is squaring itself because Mercury naturally rules both Gemini and Virgo. Mercury is a co-ruler of both signs. Mercury may be in Capricorn but it is quincunx Mars in GEMINI. So it's kinda like it is punching itself in the face. Not hard, but just to be aggravating.

Gemini rules the brain, communication, conversation, inquiries, the intellect, learning, mental inclinations, the mind, the press, getting the word out, speech, studying and wiring.

Virgo rules accounting, assimilation, details, discrimination, interpretation, organizing, planning, and scheduling.

So you see, when Mercury is in a quincunx aspect to ram-jamming Mars and creates weird and uncomfortable energy, then nothing really gets done because all of that brain power and intellect cranking out ideas and inquiries is not making it to the drawing board because the organization, planning and scheduling is not there. I'm a Gemini and typically operate my day without a list or a schedule. I don't like to be tied down. LOL! That's why I pretty much fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants and change direction with the wind. That's an air sign for ya'. But when time is a crunch, then this Sun in Gemini - North Node Virgo works from a list and bangs it out. The same goes for this Mercury quincunx Mars aspect. It needs to work from a list.

I'm a cram-jammer and will cram 55 lbs. in a 5 lb. can to get as much as I can accomplished in the shortest period of time. 'Cause I don't know what I'm doing later and I wanna be ready to do it! (winky wink)

Also, if you do not acknowledge your idea, then you may forget it and then you will hear that someone else is doing what you 'were' going to do and you say, "Hey I thought about that two (2) months ago" . . . or . . . "I said that a year ago." Oh really? Where? When? To who? Acknowledge your ideas!!! SPEAK! COMMUNICATE! THAT'S MERCURY!

You better get crackin' (Mars). Quincunx's only last about one (1) day before and after their exactness. No sooner does this aspect end, it returns the very next day after it ended in separating degrees. It's like you walk out the door and walk right back in. Pull away out of the garage and pull right back in because you forgot something. Mars has us moving faster as he turned 'Direct' on January 12, 2023.

There are only a few days here to take advantage of this aspect to get straight and fly right. Get crackin'.
