The Sun in Capricorn quincunx Mars in Gemini at 6:21 PM EST where it began in applying degrees on December 29, 2022, it is exact today, and will last in separating degrees until December 31, 2022.

The Moon in Aries sextile Saturn in Aquarius at 9:52 PM EST. Lunar aspects have an 'orb of influence' of 12 to 14 hours 'before' and 'after' their exactness.

The BIG NEWS today is the last big aspect of the year. There are MAJOR aspects - trine, sextile, square, opposition, conjunction . . . and there are MINOR aspects semisextile, semisquare, quintile, biquintile, sesquiquadrate and quincunx (aka inconjunct).

The only MINOR ASPECT that I write about is the quincunx aka inconjunct aspect. This MINOR aspect is the most-felt of the minors. You can't miss this aspect because the feeling or experience is pretty much between a rock and a hard place.

In relationships, it's almost like a Love/hate relationship with an individual.

When you look at the Astro Meme for the Sun quincunx Mars today, you will see that the weird and uncomfortable energy is pretty much slacker energy. Now this is totally WEIRD because Capricorn is NOT a slacker. Capricorn is the workaholic and does not know how to not work. They work and then work some more. They will think about vacation, but then work like hell to take off work and might even work while on vacation. Dang they are hard workers.

Maybe yesterday, today and tomorrow you might feel like 'not' working so hard. If this aspect is in your Solar Return, meaning you have a birthday yesterday, today or tomorrow, then maybe the Universe is asking you to make a change in or adjustment to your Life. Maybe you need to take a load off and NOT work so hard. But then for other Capricorn's maybe you need to get your ass in gear and WORK harder. It has to be either one because a change or adjustment needs to be made.

Maybe there is a change or adjustment in where you work, what you work at, or who you work for. Since this involves the Sun and Mars, it's probably more a 'professional thing' than it is a relationship thing. What is working for you and what is not?

Quincunx's ABSOLUTELY REQUIRE that a change or an adjustment is made in order to 'fix' or 'right' the energy. If there is no change or adjustment, then no change is made. That's a pretty simple rule for this aspect. The cool thing is this energy does not last long, so you should be able to 'get over it' (whatever it is).

In relationships, it's easy to tell who is quincunx to you. Whatever your opposite sign is, then the Sun Sign before it and after it, meaning the Sun Sign on either side of your opposite sign, is quincunx to you.

So for me, as a Gemini, Sagittarius is my opposite sign. The sign before Sagittarius is Scorpio and the sign after Sagittarius is Capricorn. So Scorpio and Capricorn are quincunx to Gemini.

For Sagittarius, Gemini is the opposite sign, so Taurus and Cancer are quincunx to Sagittarius because Taurus comes before Gemini and Cancer comes after Gemini.

Remember, quincunx's are weird and uncomfortable energy. It does NOT mean that you cannot have a relationship with these signs, but it certainly explains why sometimes you want to scratch your eyes out. My Scorpion King and I (he is a Scorpio) always chuckle when we say, "I Love you today" or I Love you right now.

Most Astrologers will only include a 02 to 03 degree 'orb of influence' to include this aspect. I use a 02 degree 'orb' as I have found this aspect to come and go pretty dang quick. I have found giving it 03 degrees is pushing it and giving it too much credit or space for the impact.

So you see from the aspect list above, the aspect came into the 'orb of influence' in applying degrees yesterday, it is exact today, and it leaves in separating degrees tomorrow. BOOM! The feeling is over.

Still, when it comes to relationships or circumstances that you find yourself in, there will need to be a change-in or adjustment in order to handle it . . . if you happen to have a relationship with your quincunx sign (like I do with my Scorpion King) or if you work for a company or in a field that is quincunx to you.

For instance, my doctorate is in Chiropractic. In my heart, I always knew that I would do something different. I did not feel 'married to' the idea that I had to be a practicing Chiropractor like most adjusting spines. I practiced for a while, but always felt a calling to do something more wide-spread and that I could use my education for something broader. I need excitement and change constantly or I turn into a bored Gemini. Chiropractic is ruled by Capricorn, which is one my quincunx signs.

My Scorpion King is a Scorpio, my other quincunx sign. There are two (2) types of Scorpio's. The clingy-jealous type. And the other says, "Don't cling to me or I'll sting you! I gotta be me!" One type of Scorpio is dependent on their relationship and the other is not. I'm attracted to the type of Scorpio who respects their own freedom, space and independence, as well as my own. So I'm attracted to the un-clingy Scorpio. A jealous insecure person would never work for me, not even through a first date.

Folks, know thyself. You can work with your quincunx's and make them work for you instead of you working for them. You can Love the people who are your quincunx. It's okay. You can co-exist quite nicely with your quincunx's and do not force what makes you feel weird and uncomfortable. Make the adjustment.

On a side note - I had an abundance of emails, calls and texts this week over the '2023 Void of Course Moon Calendar'. It appears I did not give enough time to allow those who use the calendar to get use to the idea of not using the calendar. I had enough conversations yesterday to help me see this differently.

For this reason I will go ahead and create the Calendar, although I cannot get it completed by December 31st. The individuals I talked to, I told them that I will create the January 2023 and get that emailed to them by Saturday - December 31, 2022). And then next week, I will finish the other 11 months and email the full 2023 Void of Course Moon Calendar then. I simply do not have enough time this weekend to get the full calendar completed.

Like I have been stating, this Calendar is extremely tedious and hard on the body to stay put for hours on end with so many dates, times and details. I am raising the fee to $24.00, which is pretty much $2.00 for each month.
