Well do you like surprises? Whenever Uranus shows up on the scene you can pretty much expect a 'change in circumstances'. Uranus is that planet that practically spins on its sides and is pretty much 'unique, unusual and uncommon'. Uranus is showing up in both major aspects today. We already know that we need to take easy on communication as Mercury has squares and oppositions hitting it up through August 10th. Understanding one another is tough to come by these days.

Uranus is excited, enthusiastic and extraordinary. I want to emphasize 'extra' in extraordinary. Often times we say this word as if it were pronounced 'extrordinary' instead of 'extra-ordinary'. In other words, Uranus is anything but ordinary. It's so extra-ordinary that it is not ordinary at all. It's out-of-the-ordinary. Uranus does its own thing, when it wants, as it wants. Uranus is as individualistic as it comes and there is a lot of freedom attached to Uranus because it cannot be told what to do. Uranus is as rebellious as you can get.

So here we have this oddball, tilted planet, doing its own thing and spinning like no other planet. Just take a look at the graphic of planets and you will see the proof of just how different Uranus really is. DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO! And he will change! In the blink of an eye, what you expected, isn't . . . and what wasn't, is now.

Uranus rules lightning and sudden change in circumstances. Suddenly you run off and elope, or maybe you win the lottery. Maybe the job that was not yours, now it seems you are the only one for the job. It's crazy!

Uranus is predictably predictable, in that you can pretty much predict change will occur quickly, even if you have no flippin' clue what that change will be. The sure thing is, change will occur.

Look at your Natal Chart and Solar Return with fresh eyes having this information. Where Uranus shows up in your natal chart is where change happens pretty dang fast. Maybe you come into and out of money. Maybe you move in and out of relationships faster than the wind. Maybe you change jobs or career. A job and a career are two (2) different things. Uranus is predictably predictable without knowing exactly what that might mean.

The other aspect we experience today is Mercury squaring Uranus, which just thinks it is THE MOST brilliant thinking on the planet. This aspect always reminds me of Chris Cooper's character (John Laroche) in the movie, 'Adaptation'. He was on the witness stand and says, "I'm probably the smartest person I know."

If this aspect is hitting your 2021 Solar Return, then its wise to be super-aware of this aspect. If this year you are the smartest person you know, then you will know when to put-up and when to shut-up. LOL.

And you know, sometimes the smartest thing to do is roll into silence and listen to others. People LOVE to talk about themselves. THEY LOVE IT! You will get all the information you need when you listen.

This reminds me of a time we were boating with friends on Table Rock Lake (Arkansas). The guys were also diving. Anyway, all of the boats were anchored in a group and this one guy kept bragging and bragging and bragging about all of his skills - darts, horseshoes, cornhole (aka bags), pool, etc. I mean this guy, according to himself was just unmatchable. Who could possibly beat this guy because he was so amazing, talented and skilled.

So he starts talking about this 64 team cornhole tournament where all of the best cornhole players from far and wide came to play. He pretty much leaves out how he faired in the tournament and yells over to my Scorpion King asking, "Who won that tournament anyway? Do you remember?" My Scorpion King says, "I dunno man." The guy continues bragging as I leaned over and whisper to the Scorpion King, "Why don't you tell him! Tell him! Tell him you won that tournament! That jackass!" The Scorpion King whispers back, "A man never embarrasses another man in front of his woman."
