Today is a tough day, as we experience the Full Moon in Aquarius at 11 degrees 46 minutes at 11:48 AM EDT. 11/11? I know that means something to a lot of people, but to me it doesn't, as this is only 11/11 in Eastern Time. What about the rest of the time zones in the world?

The Full Moon is when the Moon and the Sun are in opposition to each other, in Sun Sign and degree, as you can see in the aspect list above. We also experience a multitude of 'applying and separating degree' squares and oppositions. If you download today's chart wheel (link above) you will see this day laced with squares and oppositions. In the charts that I create, I always put the squares in red solid lines and the oppositions in green solid lines. These are challenging aspects. The blue solid lines are trines, which we LOVE. The blue dashed lines are sextiles, which we LOVE. The green dashed lines are quincunx's, which are challenging. And the red dashed lines are semisquare's, which are also challenging. So you see, the day is laced with challenges from all directions.

On top of that Mercury opposing Saturn hits in exact degrees. If you had a wonderful, Loving, supportive and caring father, then this aspect may not phase you a bit. If your father had issues, then daddy-issues are likely to surface. The father's issues are layed on the child and then the child carries 'daddy's issues'. Do you see how that works? The issues are not your issues, they are daddy's issues. They are only your issues if you make his issues, your issues. It was him, not you. The rest of this aspect is difficulty expressing oneself as a result of the dad who played tricks on his children or who made fun of his children when their emotions surfaced. This is what Saturn in Capricorn looks like when there is a hard aspect to it.

It's important to understand that there are aspects floating around the ethers that we are all breathing in and some of these aspects, like Mercury opposing Saturn today, are landing on a lot of people's bones. These aspects are going deep and bringing up issues. Daddy issues! So in addition to what is going on around the world with COVID and what story in the news has you angry now, there are aspects coming in and out of the picture that are poking, prodding and messing with those issues that are laying on your bones. Those with 'daddy issues' rest assured that daddy's time is coming because the Universe has absolutely had it with the angry, bully, authority figure, as we see playing itself out in the news. This energy, especialy the last months of 2020, we are going to see a lot authority figures and daddy's get their comeuppance. Count on it!

Mercury opposing Saturn is prone to anxiety and depression, which creates a tendency to look at the dark side of things, which will eventually lead to missed opportunities simply because they go unrecognized because the attention is on the 'self', which turns out to be, 'woe is me'. It's 'poor me syndrome'. This creates an intellectual cocktail that attracts very few friends. It's tough to have friends when everyone is wrong and you always right. Mercury not only rules Gemini, but it rules Virgo as well, which means this aspect can also be a nag, a whiner and critic. Remember this ---> whiners, nags, critics and complainers will always have to wait for their blessings and abundance. Do you know why? Think about it. Because whiners, nags, critics and complainers are ungrateful. Whining, nagging, criticizing and complaining are the hallmark of ingratitude. There is a direct and inverse relationship. So keep bitching it up folks and you can keep waiting for your abundance to roll in. I see this day in and day out in social media posts, including those who believe themselves to be so spiritual and enlightened, yet they are still waiting for their ship to roll in.

Mercury opposing Saturn says, "I got your nose!" and is basically saying, "Look how dumb you are, or childish you are, or how small you are, that you would actually think I have your nose!" Do not let anyone make you feel small, dumb, stupid or foolish, by playing such childish tricks on you. You are not stupid!

Mercury opposing Saturn can also lead to professional jealousy because there is such a need to be intellectually recognized and appreciated or admired. Often is the case that it is difficult to get along and work well with co-workers and colleagues. There is a clear level of hostility with co-workers, employees and colleagues. There are communication issues that are continually coming up or ongoing. There will likely be an issue with your career where your professional reputation is on the line. This is because Saturn is the natural ruler of the 10th house of career, reputation and public image, and Mercury naturally rules the 6th house of co-workers and employees.

This aspect is rigid and cold in thinking, which continues to foster self-doubt about your own intellectual capabilities. Being difficult and needing to be right is not going to help, it will only hurt your progress.

Now, having said all of that, we have a Full Moon in Aquarius, which carries the motto, "I know therefore I am." What you should first consider during ANY Full Moon is the relationship between the two heavenly bodies that actually create a Full Moon. The Moon can't be full without the Sun. During a Full Moon, the Moon and the Sun are in opposing signs at exactly 180 degrees opposite from one other. It's a tug-of-war or the perfect balance. It is one or the other depending on how you embrace the Full Moon or reject the Full Moon, so the Sun Sign of the Full Moon really does make a difference depending on your chart. This month the Sun is in Leo and the Moon is in Aquarius creating a Full Moon in Aquarius. The Sun is testosterone and the Moon is estrogen. The Sun represents father energy (like Saturn) and the Moon represents mother energy.

The Sun is our ego and the Moon is our emotions. And do you remember when your parents were being lovable toward one another and how happy that made you? And so it goes with us as we conduct our own internal desire for that kind of happiness when we witnessed our parents laugh, kiss, snuggle or show affection toward one another. Full Moon's always bring daddy and mommy issues to some degree.

What is so interesting about this Full Moon is that Aquarius is very well-known for being emotionally distant and aloof, keeping their emotions at an arm's reach. Aquarius says, "Don't cling to me!" After all, Aquarius does rule the 11th house of friends, associations, acquaintances and networking. Aquarius wants to mingle and socialize and doesn't want anyone pawing at them like a cat (their opposite sign Leo) and clinging to them or walking between their ankles when they are trying to work the room. Aquarius typically hugs with distance between the two heart's who are hugging and pats the other person on the back.

Aquarius's opposite sign is Leo, which rules the heart and the back. It is Leo who hugs heart to heart, not Aquarius. Leo is also the cat (lion) who is constantly rubbing up against your ankles trying to get some Love and affection. By the way, Aquarius rule the ankles. Aquarius is the circulator in the crowd and the circulation of blood that pumps the heart (Leo). One has no use without the other. These two signs have what each other wants and needs. It is always that way between two opposing energies. This is why relationships that are opposite signs are not necessarily a bad thing. He/She might have what you want and need, and he/she might have what you want and need, which in turns creates the perfect balance. Aquarius cannot stand clingy, emotional and needy energy, and Leo needs a constant flow of affection and attention. Cats, even though they are aloof and distant creatures, they also have an incredibly needy and emotional nature when they want attention. Each sign is equal 'and' opposite to their counterpart. I cannot tell you how deliberate and intentional I am. The Full Moon is when we complete and wrap things up. And I wrapped that baby up and put a big ol' bow on it. This Full Moon is not the time of 'new beginnings and fresh starts' as that is the New Moon. The Full Moon tells us to wrap it up and put a bow on it. Take these planetary alignments seriously and seriously set yourself UP! God 'only' knows, I sure do!
