If you quickly scroll down below you will see that we will experience four (4) aspects to the Moon today - an opposition, a conjunction, a square and then a sextile in that order. This translates into tug-of-war (opposition), intensity (conjunction), a sharp elbow dig into your side (square) and then ease and effortlessness (sextile). A sextile is not as easy as a trine, but it's pretty dang easy.

As the day begins with a tug-of-war between the Moon and Jupiter, this causes us to over-do it. As I always say, "If it's worth doing, it's worth over-doing." In this case, with the Moon opposing Jupiter, then translates into not just self-indulgence but over-indulgence. This energy just takes it too far. This where you could give and then over-give where there isn't enough left for you. Or where you enjoy and then end up over-enjoying, which can make you lazy. What makes this energy so challenging is the Moon rules the emotions, feelings, moods, sensitivities and the mother, and the Jupiter is the higher-octave of this energy. So this tug from one side to the other is enjoyment vs. over-enjoyment, or spending vs. over-spending, or relaxing vs. over-relaxing (lazy). The day starts way too benevolent and extravagant. This is the person who says if they ever win the lottery, they will give all of the money away, and they probably will, to the wrong people.

The second aspect is a conjunction, which intensifies the energy of the two planets involved. So you see, a conjunction can end up being a real pain in rear-end or it can be a luscious wonderful experience. While the Moon and Venus are wonderful partners in an aspect, this conjunction is afflicted by an opposition to Jupiter. While the Moon and Venus coupled-up is charming and affectionate energy, the affliction to Jupiter (first aspect today) makes this energy self-indulgent, which means we are just trying to get our needs met, which then also means that we can easily be taken for granted. This energy makes us indulge in pursuits that we simply cannot afford just for the sake of looking Good to others. So you see, these first two aspects of the day cause us temptation of self-indulgence. Watch your appetites and your wallets!

The third aspect today says, "DRAMA!" Track your reactions to the Aries Moon and Libra Moon when they show up because up until the year 2024 the Moon in Aries and Libra will square Pluto every single month up until that time. That is two (2) Moon's a month up until the year 2024 we will see 'emotional drama' at this level of intensity. REMEMBER THIS! Every single time the Moon rolls into the later degrees of Aries and Libra, it will square Pluto because Pluto is now in the later degrees. Twice a month folks . . TWICE A MONTH! Track this energy in your Natal Chart or Solar Return so you can see where you can easily become susceptible to 'emotional drama'.

The last and final aspect today is the 'escape hatch'. You see my dear little mentators, these lunar aspects have an 'orb of influence' of 12-14 hours before and after they are exact. So this last aspect is exact at 6:36 PM EDT, but that also means that it began affecting us at 4:36 AM EDT this morning. So while the first three aspects were affecting us, so was this one. It just doesn't become exact until later in the day. So you can pull on this thread (aspect) and use it. The Moon sextile Mars reveals the emotional force that it will take in order to carry out projects, tasks or challenges to completion and success. It is difficult not to win when this sextile is present. This placement is enterprising, it is energetic and it is all about winning and making money. Have you ever heard the phrase, "If it isn't a hell no, then it's a hell yeah!" Well this aspect is a, "Hell Yeah!"
