Here we go folks, the start of the lunar cycle begins today with the Aries Moon. The planetary cycle always begins with Aries and ends with Pisces. It doesn't matter if it is the Moon, the Sun, Venus or Neptune, the planets (all of them) travel through the signs in this order. Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and then Pisces. So here we are today experiencing the Aries Moon again because it just moved out of Pisces and into Aries this morning at 6:11 AM EDT. If you look at yesterday's horoscope you will see there was a Pisces Moon and I said it would end at 6:11 AM EDT this morning.

Aries impulsively and aggressively ram-rods through the gate and then there is this ebb and flow that begins. But that Aries energy blasts through the gate like a ram bashing down a fence with his forehead. Have you ever seen two charging rams go at it. Have a peek at this video! Notice how the 9th word the narrator says is the word, "compete". Aries is THE MOST competitive sign of the zodiac. It not only competes with itself, it competes with everyone else within sights distance. Check out how this Aries energy plays itself out so you can get an idea of the strength, determination, stamina, headstrong and brave this energy actually is. If Aries energy is like this, imagine how strong Leo energy is, but today we are talking about Aries. Those of you for whom I have written natal charts: remember I mentioned that whatever sign your Rising Sign is, that person is your competition. That is because the Rising Sign is the sign that rules the 1st house cusp. The 1st house is the house that ARIES rules. This is why that person who is the sign of your Rising Sign is your competition. Actually they aren't your competition if there is nothing to compete over, but if there is something to compete over, the sign of your Rising Sign is that energy because it carries all of the keywords of the house that Aries rules. GET IT?

This Aries energy is provocative meaning it provokes and it will strike first. So think about this for a minute. Currently Venus is in Aries, this is why I say that Venus chases Love. Venus in Aries strikes out first and chases Love. I have Venus in Aries and I have always been the one to choose who I wanted. I don't get chosen . . I CHOOSE! It's so funny but that is how Aries energy works. I have always seen whom I wanted and gone after that person, not the other way around. Look at your Natal Chart or Solar Return so you can see where this Aries energy is for you. Also look at your Rising Sign to see who your competition is. This is where you would strike first. Maybe that person who is your Rising Sign doesn't even know why they react the way they do to you when someone else walks into the room. You two are fine together and then that third person walks in and now IT'S ON, it's a competition for that third person's attention. It's just like this ram video. Two rams were fine by themselves and then the third one walked up and then it was ON! Stick with me my little mentators and I'll teach you some new things. (winky wink)

After the Moon leaves Aries, it settles down into the placid bull and holds its ground for a while, then it springs to Life again in Gemini and gets a little crazy and fiesty communicating with everyone like a toddler realizing it has a voice with sound. Then the Cancer Moon rolls around and asks us to get in touch with our emotions, especially within our own household so we can be better prepared for romantic, center of attention and fun-filled Leo energy who enjoys one-on-one intimacy. Then the Virgo Moon settles us 'down to earth' since it is an earth sign and helps us analyze our next move down to the tiniest detail. Then Libra puts us back out there negotiating, mediating and working through issues with others using all of the information from the previous six Moons in the other signs that just occurred. Scorpio pulls us back and gets us in touch on a deeper, more passionate and intense way of thinking and then Sagittarius put us back out there only on a higher level to shoot higher and bump ourselves up to a higher level of action and thinking. Capricorn 'uses' that level of higher thinking and gets the job done. BAM! Capricorn puts us to work! Get er' done! Aquarius rolls around and makes certain we aren't working too hard and throws friends, networking, rubbing elbows and socializing into our path and then Pisces rolls around (like today) and settles us down into a reflective, meditative and more solitary mode, which I call 'monk mode' so we can mull over our strengths and weaknesses over the past month. What did we do and what do we need to correct and make better? This is when we need to deal with those skeletons in the closet and our hidden behaviors that we don't want anyone else to know or see. Self-correction is the wrap up at the end lunar cycle because you don't want any karma you created over the past month biting you in the ass!

Today there is only one lunar aspect with the Moon sextile the Sun.

Also, yesterday the Sun moves into Gemini until Wednesday, June 21, 2017. Energy is now picking up its pace, so thank God. We Gemini's get ancy-pancy when energy is so slow-moving in Taurus.
