The BIG NEWS today is Mercury squares Uranus. This is interesting because Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury, so you would think this would be super-dooper wonderful energy . . well it can be simply because this aspect will help you think outside of the box. This is the classic 'hair brained idea' aspect. The mind also changes incredibly quick and next thing you know, something completely different will have your attention. This aspect reminds me of the character John Laroche (played by Chris Cooper) in the movie, "Adaptation" (one of my favorite movies) of all time. Laroche was on the witness stand in court and said, "I'm probably the smartest person I know." This aspect also enjoys learning about philosophical things, which is also characteristic of Laroche. When this man dived into subject matter, he was in full-force and when he was suddenly done with it, he simply moved on to something else. "Done with fish" as LaRoche would say. Actually he said, "F fish." He was done with fish. Watch the two (2) posted video's below. The second one has subtitles in Spanish. It's the only video I could find with LaRoche on the witness tand. This character is the embodiment of Mercury square Uranus, as the Astro-Meme indicates.

Today we also experience the Moon changing signs from Gemini into Cancer at 1:57 PM EST. This means the Moon is Void of Course today as it makes it way out of one sign and into another. This energy can be likened to when you move out of one residence and move into another. It's chaos, unscheduled, phone ringings, people moving around and energy that is just messing with our jam.
