The BIG NEWS today is mind is moving full throttle as Mercury squares Mars. The connection of Mercury and Mars would not be such a challenge if it were a trine or sextile, but this is a square, which poses challenges. Mercury rules the mind and mental abilities, while Mars is aggressive and impulsive. Both Mercury and Mars are quick. The mind is moving so fast that it thinks before it speaks and spends more time interrupting and back-tracking. This can result in ticking off others because they can't finish a sentence without being interrupted or others cannot get in a word edgewise. There is a lot of over-talking and not enough listening. Take the advise of the Astro-Meme and write down what you want to say so that you do not forget your own thoughts and interruptions are at a minimum. This aspect causes frequent headaches because Mars rules the head and the head becomes over-heated with this aspect. It can also cause agitation and nervousness.

The Good news is the Moon trines Mercury and makes it easier to communicate thoughts and feelings. Mercury rules thoughts and the Moon rules feelings. This is the aspect of the 'effective communicator' so if you really need to communicate something today, then wait until later in the day when you have thought everything over and when th is lunar aspect hits closer to its exactness.
