If you have been keeping up with the April 2018 Astro Memes then you already knew that today there are two (2) major aspects and Saturn in Capricorn turns Retrograde. Venus opposing Jupiter is the classic placement of 'The Hedonist'. If you saw the movie, 'The Wolf of Wall Street' then you know exactly the level of hedonism that I am referring to. Hedonism is the ethical theory or school of thought that argues that pleasure and happiness are the primary or most important intrinsic goods and the aim of human life. It is the pursuit of pleasure and self-indulgence, along with social extravagance to extreme levels. You know what 'they' say, "Everything in moderation" but moderation is not the key with this aspect because there is total lack of moderation. This is an opposition, so there is a tug-of-war going on where there is a drive to achieve and a need to enjoy yourself. I was completely caught up in the 'orb of influence' of this aspect on Sunday during the New Moon in Aries. I blew off planting myself at my computer to get the work completed that I planned on doing that involved the new 'Quickie Daily Horoscopes' and instead I played all day with my Scorpion King.

Yesterday (Monday) I had to snap out of my fun-fest and pleasurable pursuits and get back down to business and get that new design completed. This in turn put me behind on getting all of my writing completed that I had planned to do on Sunday. The hedonist within me said, "Oh what the hell, have fun it'll be alright." We ate all day, drank cocktails (although mine was non-alcoholic because I don't drink) and we even went to the casino. CRAZY! This aspect is spoiled extravagance. Some people (like ourselves in this house) will be able to snap out of the 'eat-drink-be-merry' hedonist lifestyle and get back to work and others will not. Who are you during this aspect? This aspect began in applying degrees on April 11, 2018, it is exact today and it will last in separating degrees until April 21, 2018.

The second major aspect occurring today is Venus Trine Pluto, which is the aspect of 'Higher Love'. This is exactly the kind of energy the Scorpion King and I felt (and still feel) as we ran around and played all day. We are still feeling this major high of Cloud-9-Love. This aspect is powerful Love and one of the highest forms of Loves. There is something pre-destined and spiritual with this aspect, which recommits relationships. The bond is unshakeable, firm, resolute and protected. The couple vows that it is, "Us no matter what. When it all comes down to it, all we have is each other and God." That is how this aspects thinks. Money and success for the couple also accompany this aspect. What has the conversation been like for you and your mate, spouse, partner? This aspect began in applying degrees on April 11, 2018, it is exact today and it will last in separating degrees until April 23, 2018.

Also today, Saturn in Capricorn turns Retrograde. I do not yet have this write-up completed or for Saturn in Capricorn in your Yearly Horoscope. This WILL BE completed today. It's all boils down to minutes folks and write-ups take hours. So after I finish my chart writing this morning, I will be finishing the Saturn in Capricorn write-ups (including the Retrograde write-up). Saturn in Capricorn is in its home placement and it is quite comfortable here. This aspect strives and has super-strong ambitions for status, power, business and even politics. Now Saturn in Capricorn turns Retrograde today at 9:47 PM EDT and takes us back over the degrees that we just plowed through. Do not fear my dear little mentators. Saturn ALWAYS turns Retrograde once a year. ALWAYS! And it is ALWAYS Retrograde for about five (5) months. It's ALWAYS like this and it is nothing new. Every single year this occurs. Saturn in Capricorn is the epitome of structure, discipline, responsibility, regulations, rules and authority figures. During Saturn in Capricorn there is a rebellion of sorts against the structured-unit or authority figures. This is really going to be interesting because Saturn and Capricorn rule the government, the military, the high ranking brass.

For those of us who are not in the military, we will feel that internal rebellion against authority figures. Females will turn on men. Oh yeah, they will! Folks, we may not have seen anything yet when it comes to women having had it with men. LOOK OUT because Saturn in Capricorn Retrograde (for a female) is NOT going to let a man get away with him putting her under his thumb. Pay attention because we are going to see all kinds of forms of this energy show up throughout Spring and Summer 2018. More writing is on the way. Hang tight and tune-in to my social media accounts.
