MOON CONJUNCT NORTH NODE

A conjunction or conjunct symbol is an aspect that emphasizes and brings together the energies of the planets involved. Conjunctions focus and intensify the energy much like a laser beam on an exact point in your chart. These planets have their own uniqueness and when tag-teamed their energy is intensified even more.

It is important to understand that the Moon rules the home and the family. It also rules the emotions, feelings, sensitivities and moods, while the North Node rules the future and where one needs to be. The North Node is the point in the chart that is the key lesson in our lives. It represents our new experiences that we must aim for in this lifetime. Since we have already learned the skills of its opposite point, the South Node, in past lives, now we must grow and stretch ourselves through the North Node. The challenge with the Nodal Axis (North to South Node) is to 'use the past skills' of the South Node while learning the new skills of the North Node on our quest for wholeness.

This conjunction urges the individual to come to terms with the emotional (Moon) and intuitional side (South Node) of the self. The intuitional being South Node because it is what you already know from previous lifetimes. This is where you can honestly answer the question, "How did you know how to do that?" The answer is, "I gained the experience in my previous lifetimes." This gives an instinctual capability that just happens to be present because it is something that was already learned in previous lifetimes.
