JUPITER CONJUNCT NEPTUNE

A conjunction or conjunct symbol is an aspect that emphasizes and brings together the energies of the planets involved. Conjunctions focus and intensify the energy much like a laser beam on an exact point in your chart. These planets have their own uniqueness and when tag-teamed their energy is intensified even more.

It is important to understand that Jupiter is lucky, adventurous and abundant. It is also very benevolent, generous and philanthropic. Jupiter rules religion and higher education. Neptune is intuitive, in-tune and tuning in like a Tune-Ah-Fish, and is the natural ruler of Pisces (the fish). Neptune is creative, artistic, dreamy, musically inclined and fantastical.

This conjunction has very distinct 'either or' type of energy. Considering neither planet is Retrograde, there is no veil to be pulled back as whatever needs to be seen, is seen without fog, a haze, smoke and mirrors or excuse. It all becomes pretty clear.

Jupiter conjunct Neptune can create a spiritual boom, with increased intuition and creativity. There might be an escape into the spiritual and psychological realm to see what makes people tick, which also involves mental health.

This energy needs to be balanced with some practicalities as one could easily run away and joint a commune or ashram. There is a tendency toward idealism, for this reason one needs to enjoy spirituality while also continuing to live on the planet with the rest of us humans.

On the flip side, if the spiritual chip is missing and this energy is not tamed or channelled appropriately, then one could easily lose sight of all reality and become unable to relate to just about anyone. This may result in private fantasy, seclusion and a total monastic life. That’s fine if that’s what you are supposed to do, but maybe you are supposed to be taking your energy to the masses and not into a cave.

This aspect can also turn dark where the veil is missing and everything is seen. There is a 'family and residential' component to this aspect and something that has to do with behind-the-scenes. On a personal level this would be brothers-or-sisters-in-law or cousins of the partner or spouse. On a global or national level this could be foreign agents, Supreme Court or higher court individuals or families of those in high places (VIPs).
