SOLAR ECLIPSE NEW MOON IN LEO

An eclipse of the Sun happens when the New Moon moves between the Sun and Earth, blocking out the Sun's rays and casting a shadow on parts of Earth. This total solar eclipse will be visible in totality within a band across the entire contiguous United States; it will only be visible in other countries as a partial eclipse.

The affected areas in the USA will go dark, as if it is nighttime, for a period of just over 2 minutes. What I find interesting for myself is the 'path of totality' goes directly through the two areas of my both my addresses. One address is just outside of the St. Louis Metropolitan area and the second address is through Cherokee, NC. How incredibly lucky could I be? This 'path of totality' is also the exact path that I take when driving back and forth from St. Louis, Missouri to Cherokee, NC. All of the cities from there to there are on that path. I find this incredibly significant for myself in addition to my own personal natal chart. Wow Wee!

So I'm certain by now you have read your eyeballs out about this Total Solar Eclipse, which is the second New Moon in Leo during Leo season in 2017. The first New Moon in Leo was on July 23, 2017 just four weeks ago. The Moon had just entered Leo at 00 degrees 44 minutes and the Sun had just entered Leo at 00 degrees 44 minutes. 60 minutes = 01 degree, so that New Moon was about as fresh and new born as it could get. The New Moon hadn't even reached its first degree and neither had the Sun. Now four (4) weeks later we experience another New Moon in Leo and this one is just before it reaches the final degree. The New Moon in Leo on August 21, 2017 will be at 28 degrees 53 minutes, just 07 minutes shy of that last and final full degree.

How incredibly interesting is that? Look closely at your charts. Where was the first New Moon in Leo impacting your chart at just shy of 01 degree and where is the New Moon in Leo impacting your chart at just shy of 29 degrees? Do you have any fire sign planets hovering around the 29 degree mark that would trine this New Moon? The fire signs are Leo, Sagittarius and Aries. Do you have any planets hovering around the 29 degree mark that are Gemini or Libra (air signs) because these signs are sextile to Leo.

When you think of an eclipse think of the Moon covering up the Sun, as if it is throwing a blanket over it. The Sun will no longer be seen and it will just be the Moon. And you can only see the Moon through special glasses and only then will you be able to see a 'ring of fire' on the periphery of the Moon. The Moon eclipsing the Sun brings out our emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities under the sign of involvement, which is Leo. So while the Sun and the Moon are under the same sign (Leo) our emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities are really feeling the energy and literally, "Livin' the dream." It's one thing to dream of the dream, but to actually live the dream is a whole other ballgame.

This eclipse will bring about such a siginficant change in the lives of those impacted simply because the Sun is being eclipsed (covered) by our emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities, which means we are really feeling the energy. When we feel something we react to it. Think of how all of the animals are going to act and react as the Moon begins to cover the Sun and they think that it is going to be nighttime. The nocturnal animals will come out and the diurnal animals will be looking for a place to rest. This eclipse is going to get our attention so that we react as well.
