And with the Nodes so in proximity, this makes this New Moon a Solar Eclipse! Now since this New Moon in Capricorn is all about being useful, then you need to get a full handle on the energy. Notice how I 'used' the word 'useful'. The Capricorn motto is, "I use therefore I am." It is not . . . mis-use, dis-use, a-buse, over-use, under-use, no-use, re-use or use-less. The Capricorn motto is . . . use, useful, utilize, utilitarian, using, usable and user.

This is a wonderful New Moon that is within six (6) days of the New Year (2020) and if you choose not to get your groovey on in the house indicated below (for your Sun Sign) then that is just outright laziness. Capricorn (the authority figure) does not like laziness, slothfulness or those who cannot show up on time and it will reprimand you. Make USE of yourself. Become a utilitarian. Most of you already know that I have a natal Capricorn Moon and I am pretty tough, serious, self-disciplined and I'm an obvious workaholic. I'm a 'get your ass up and in gear' type of gal and I can't stand whining. Further, I am the biggest utilitarian I know. If I don't use it, then I give it away, sell it or toss it. If it isn't useful or functional, then I don't want it. I don't collect collectibles either because to me they are non-functional and serve no purpose to my needs or survival. I can't use collectibles unless they are an investment increasing in value for sale later that I could 'use' for my retirement. Now the opposite of the Capricorn Moon is the Cancer Moon and Cancer's absolutely LOVE collectibles. Capricorn rules time, so this Capricorn energy is very aware of how time is 'used'. Also make use of the people that you know when you need advice, guidance, fun, assistance, etc. When it comes to this New Moon in Capricorn, you will either "Use it or lose it!" And I mean that literally. Capricorn will even walk away from friends if they proved themselves not to be useful.

There is a sweet line up (a Stellium) of Capricorn planets on this date as you can see from the Daily Astrology Chart. The Moon, the Sun, Jupiter, the South Node, Saturn and Pluto are all in Capricorn. I find it interesting that the more emotional part of this Stellium is clustered together and the more cold and locked down emotionally part of this Stellium is separated into Saturn and Pluto. I say the "more emotional part of this Stellium" because the Moon after all rules the emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities. It is 'full' of this energy simply because the Sun conjuncts the Moon and a conjunction intensifies the energies of the two (2) planets involved, in this case the Moon and the Sun. Jupiter also e-x-p-a-n-d-s whatever it touches and it is touching this New Moon within 01 degree. So it is e-x-p-a-n-d-i-n-g the energy of this intensified energy (conjunction) and is also part of the conjunction itself because a conjunction occurs when two or more planets are within 10 degrees of each other. There is also the conjunction of the South Node in Capricorn, which is at 08 degrees, which is within 03 degrees of Jupiter and 04 degrees of the Moon and the Sun. Remember, a conjunction 'has to be' within 10 degrees. This is incredibly intensified energy. Also remember, with the South Node, anything close to it goes down into the bottomless pit and its neverending. While this can seem scary with the South Node so close, it is the Nodes so close to the New Moon that actually make this a Solar Eclipse. So this is a Solar Eclipse as well creating an intensification of energy that is just out of this dang world. It's unending pit of 'nothing personal and all business'.

The focus could not be more on business, career, profession, stability, status, rank and public identity. If you choose to be stable, prudent, practical, hard-working, responsible and self-limiting with this wonderful Capricorn energy, the Universe will reward you in kind. Remember, Capricorn acts like a proud papa or authority figure and enjoys bragging and doting on their children. Capricorn energy has the bumper sticker that says, "My son/daughter is a Marine." Or, "My daughter/son is an honor student!" This is NOT the time to act like an idiot and run off the rails. Entering 2020 off the rails will take you months and I mean MONTHS to recover and right (correct) yourself.

I sure hope to heck that you are not all waiting until Sunday, January 12, 2020 to use Saturn conjunct Pluto. I have been writing to you on and off all year (through 2019) that Saturn conjunct Pluto is a Good thing and it is 'disciplined power'. This conjunction has been in play all year (2019) at varying degrees in the 'orb of influence'. Saturn conjunct Pluto is very much present during this New Moon Solar Eclipse with Jupiter conjunct. It's a massively important time. Saturn conjunct Pluto is DISCIPLINED POWER. I have been saying that all year. This is something you should have been working on all year and should be working on diligently right now. DO NOT WAIT until Sunday, January 12, 2020 to embrace DISCIPLINED POWER (Saturn conjunct Pluto). If you go through any of the previous Extended Daily Horoscopes all year long and download the chart wheel, you will see Saturn and Pluto have been conjunct all year. This is something you should have been managing and working on all year. In other words, you should have been working on getting your shit together all year long. Cleaning up your Life and getting your act together in a mature and stable way, like the adult that you are.

A conjunction occurs when two (2) or more planets are within 10 degrees of each other. At the start of this year on January 1, 2019 Saturn and Pluto were conjunct at 09 degrees 11 minutes. Just under the cut-off of being within the 'orb of influence'. Remember, a conjunction intensifies the energy of the planets involved . . Saturn is the limitor and wants you to be self-limited or self-disciplined in order to receive your reward. Pluto is powerful and 'can be' volatile if it is not harnessed or disciplined or corrected or righted or handled or mastered. So there you have it 'Disciplined Power'.

Capricorn is the boss and manager of the zodiac. SO MANAGE YOURSELF and manage your Life. Capricorn is the 'manager of time' and 'manager of business'. Look at your charts to see where you need to better manage your Capricorn-ness.

Mars in Scorpio makes a nearly perfect exact sextile to Saturn and Pluto, which was exact on December 22, 2019 and is still within the 'orb of influence' of this New Moon in Capricorn. Mars is the planet of action and aggression. Mars is looking for things to change, not stay the same. Mars is in is natural home placement of Scorpio, which enjoys constant movement and attention where all things Scorpio are concerned, which is other people's money including large windfalls of money. This Mars in Scorpio sextile is extremely intentional, deliberate and aware of 'the self'. This is a perfect placement for working out (as in exercise) or working on projects that require muscle power. The individual who takes advantage of this aspect during this time will be able to develop a lot of strength and/or body muscle and will likely be committed to working out. Remember folks, muscles hold heat and heat burns calories. You can absolutely build a strong body during this time. If you were thinking about joining a gym or a yoga studio (winky wink, my yoga studio) this could honestly not be a better time where you can develop mounds of success. The planet we really want to keep a side-eye on is Uranus in Taurus because it is making a trine within 02 degrees of this New Moon and the Sun, and within 03 degrees of Jupiter. Uranus likes to shake things up, but I can tell you this, the New Moon in Capricorn is so wonderfully supported by Jupiter in Capricorn and a huge collection of Capricorn energy, that this trine from Uranus in Aries could easily shake things up so much that what falls out, is exactly what is needed to fall out and ends up thrusting you ahead or causing something perfectly wonderful to become the result. There could be such a 'Reversal of Fortune' for so many people and I don't just mean this in terms of your circumstances, I mean this financially as well. This is the best New Moon I have seen in AGES!

In fact, I'm going to go way out on a limb here and say, this New Moon in Capricorn is literally going to be a 'rags to riches' story for a lot of people. Those who have insanely disciplined and stay the course, will most definitely reap their reward. This Capricorn energy knows how to go without in order to have whatever they have their eye on. This energy is about achievement, ambition, success and making it to the top. Simply showing up to work everyday is not what I'm talking about here. I'm talking about real achievers and over-achievers. This energy really hangs in there for long periods of time like you see these mountains goats hanging in there on the side of the mountain. They will stand there, stabilize their footing for however long it takes, and then keep going.

I really DO NOT want to say this, but Capricorn enery sure does have its share of drama. The incessant complaining and whining and negative finger pointing at what some people are doing or aren't doing. Uggggh! Hey, I have a Natal Capricorn Moon and Saturn in Capricorn. OMGosh I want to just say, "STFU and mind your own damn business!" I'm just so glad God blessed with me with Sun trine Jupiter, which can squash that negative chatter once my brain starts in. Well, this awesome energy is going to FLIP and I mean FLIP a lot of negative cruddy-thinking Capricorn's into their right-mindedness where they stop that incessant negative complaining chatter. The Sun trine Uranus along with the Sun conjunct Jupiter is going to put negative talk to a halt.

And here is the interesting thing too . . . we have been seeing so many celebrities and authority figures across the world, which I wrote about in the Pluto in Capricorn write-up fall from Grace since 2008. It's been unreal. Well now the tables are turning. The mighty fall and the little people rise! I'm tellin' ya', reversals of fortune for a lot of people where you just start living better and more abundant. It's like a 'Huge basket of Love'.

The Sun conjunct Jupiter is the absolute best aspect of the year, which only occurs once a year. This is the only aspect that can beat the Sun trine Jupiter in energy, which I have. This aspect has an natural optimistic and enthusiastic about life, which is channelled in larger than life ways. There is an enthusiasm and zest for life that is contagious. This aspect likes to be recognized, noticed and complimented. Those of you with this aspect in your Solar Return will get recognized wherever they go and the minute you walk into a room. It commands attention but does not demand attention, probably because you had your ass-kicked so much over the last 12 years (since 2008 when Pluto moved into Capricorn), which has humbled you. Capricorn needed to be humbled because it has such diva-deserving and prince-deserving qualities. Capricorn has been brought to their knees and probably really learned how to pray during this time. I mean serious prayer. This aspect 'will' help you accomplish goals through your own social connections, influence and experiences. In other words, this aspect will not be asking for help, it will just get it.

The Sun conjunct Jupiter attracts wealth and luck like a magnet simply due to its optimistic and magnetic energy. Talk about the 'Law of Attraction'. The Sun conjunct Jupiter is the 'Law of Attraction'. This is a positive outlook that is unmatchable by any other aspect, although the Sun trine Jupiter runs a very tight close second. The Sun conjunct Jupiter naturally wins friends and influences people. This is the true 'motivational speaker' and 'experiential junkie'. You should absolutely use networking and social media to attain their goals. Teaching, lecturing, motivating and shining on a stage are attractive options in the career. And for Heaven's sake dear Capricorn, lay off any negative posting on social media. Your judgment, complaining, whining or negative chatter will not win you friends and influence people in the right ways. Knock it off!

And let's not forget Mars sextile Saturn, which will still be present during this New Moon. I'm tellin' ya' folks. The more disciplined you have been, the better off your Life will be because Santa Claus aka the Universe aka GOD . . . has been watching.
