Mercury in Virgo TRANSITING DEGREES FOR July 28, 2023 until October 4, 2023

Mercury moves into Virgo on July 28, 2023 until October 4, 2023, which will involve a retrograde (Rx) from August 23, 2023 until September 15, 2023. Mercury in Virgo is the mark of 'the specialist' who is obsessed with the knowledge of details, which can be to its detriment if one detail gets you hung up.

This is a very discriminating placement for Mercury since it naturally rules Virgo (also Gemini). This means the mind is critical and analytical, where it can cause you to become obsessed with detailed knowledge. This can prove to be a detriment if you get caught up on a certain word or a certain way something 'should be' communicated. Talk about trivial pursuits! Still, it is a fantastic position for detailed work such as scientific, accounting and research.

Note below, when the Retrograde begins on August 23, 2023 at 21 degrees it will begin taking us back to August 3rd and 4th, 2023 where Mercury in Virgo was at 08 degrees. Ask yourself, "Why is the Universe (God) taking me back to 08 degrees? What was occurring around that time that I need to correct, maintain or understand before I progress forward?" Then from September 12th until September 19th 2023 Mercury in Virgo will be sitting at 08 degrees again, back to where it was before it turned Retrograde. In other words, we start over from there after having been on repeat. That's the degree of study, 08 degrees. Check your texts, calendars, schedule, phone, email, bills, etc., for the reasons. Do the research on yourself!

Also note on August 13, 2023 where you see a longer spread of time between degrees. That is exactly 10 days before Mercury turns Retrograde where you can literally see slow down occurring as Mercury comes into its pre-retrograde-shadow. You can see the post-retrograde-shadow picking up speed as well around September 26th where we begin feeling the retrograde energy dissipating.
