The BIG NEWS today Mercury squares Jupiter and the Sun squares Saturn. These energies have been present since April 24th and 28th (as you can see above) and will last until May 8th and 11th (as you can see above).

Mercury is the communicator and Jupiter E-X-P-A-N-D-S whatever it touches, which means we get 'the exaggerator'. Even more interesting to note is Mercury naturally opposes Jupiter because Mercury naturally rules Gemini and Jupiter naturally rules Sagittarius, so this is a natural opposition tossed into a square that is occurring between them today. Talk about hard communication. Not only that, Mercury also naturally rules Virgo, wherein Virgo and Sagittarius are natural squares and Virgo and Gemini are also natural squares, which are both ruled by Mercury. So on top of today's square between Mercury and Jupiter, this aspect also carries the energy of a natural opposition and a natural square. This is not the day to handle important conversations, make commitments, sign agreements, settle a dispute, have an operation or even go to the doctor when communication is this challenging.

There are a lot of ideas being thrown around, plans being made, schedules laid out and bags being packed but none of it really goes anywhere. There are just so many options that you may not be sure which way to go or which plan (path) to follow. It all sounds so optimistic, wonderful and highly inflated because Jupiter expands whatever it touches, so it is INFLATED! Promises will not be kept and this energy bites off more than it can chew. There is also a rush to judgment where decisions are being made on insufficient or exaggerated information.

Maybe you are pissed off at someone and you have no flippin' idea what is really going on in their Life. I can't stand that kind of judgment! Cancer and Libra energies (no matter how or where these energies show up in your chart) have to watch that real possibility of assuming or passing judgment without really knowing what someone else is going through. Then this aspect will only INFLATE the assumptions. Jupiter naturally ruling the 9th house is the higher-octave house of the 7th house. The 7th house rules courts and the 9th house rules higher courts. Again, here it is again regarding passing judgment on others thinking you have all the information on what is going on in someone else's Life. I would consider this aspect a warning shot on 'passing judgment'.

This square is a challenge to say the least. Mercury naturally rules Gemini (the 3rd house) and Jupiter naturally rules Sagittarius (the 9th house). Gemini and Sagittarius are opposing signs, as do the 3rd and 9th houses. So not only do these two planets represent a natural opposition, they are squaring each other at a very sharp right 90 degree angle like someone sticking their elbow in your side and grinding it. Both Mercury and Jupiter rule the two signs of communication, talking, speaking, writing, publishing, traveling, transportation, learning and educating. These two planets also rule these subjects at different levels of communication, learning, expression and moving about the locale, country or world.

Now remember that Jupiter will E-X-P-A-N-D whatever it touches and when it expands Mercury, then this results in grandiose and exaggerated thinking. With this placement, remember the phrase, "Fools rush in where angels fear to tread." This is the classic placement for grandiose thinking that is just too 'out there' for realization. There is a rush to action in an attempt to get projects accomplished that are just too far out of reach for your circumstances, talents, skills, capacity or time that is required. Unless Saturn is well placed or aspected during this square, then little will get done, accomplished, fixed or off the ground. This is just flat out unrealistic optimism. Saturn IS NOT well-placed today as this aspect is accompanied by a square to the Sun. The rush to judgment with this aspect is very strong wherein decisions are being made on insufficient information. There are just so many options that you may not be sure which way to go or which plan (path) to follow. It all sounds so optimistic, wonderful and highly inflated and IT IS! Saturn is too much of sour-puss to help you. It's just flat out 'lip service' from these two communicative planets (Mercury and Jupiter). Often there is discrepancy between your beliefs and the actual truth.

The Sun square Saturn is just flat out hard to even be around someone who has a sourpuss face and a bad attitude. Keep in mind this aspect has been present in applying (approaching) degrees since April 24, 2021, it is exact today, and will last in separating degrees until May 11, 2021. Maybe the sourpuss is you. It's bitchy! There is a lot of blame for everyone when it is being passed out by the sourpuss. That is no way to get anyone to see things your way but you can try it and see where it gets you. This aspect simply makes self-expression difficult and no one will want to listen to you.

This aspect does reveal strong ambitions, although there is a hefty dose of fear and expectation of rejection. This can make Life feel like a royal pain in the ass, wherein you feel like you are living a Life of hardship and drudgery. If Jupiter or the Sun have other favorable aspects to them this can offset the challenging results of this aspect, but that is simply not the case with this aspect this time around. Bummer! We can see that Jupiter is engaged in a square while the Sun and Saturn are engaged in a square. It's rotten.

The Sun square Saturn does have excellent business qualities of being steady, skeptical and persistent. At the same time, this aspect is heavy. It feels like a burden of responsibility. As an aspect showing up in the Solar Return's with those with a birthday from April 24 - May 11, 2021 it will feel like no matter what is occurring, it will be hard. It just can't be easy for some reason. You simply have to learn the hard way and nothing comes easy.

The sourpuss face looks at Life as a pessimist. This is the classic 'sour disposition'. Picture yourself with a sour look on your face most of the time and that is exactly what this aspect looks like, especially if you have a birthday between April 24 - May 11, 2021. For the rest of us, we will just be severely bitchy and pessimist. COMPLAIN COMPLAIN! The brow is furrowed and it will be as if the face is dramatically drawn in on itself with the eyebrows down and in with the mouth puckered, the cheeks drawn, the nose wrinkled, with a squishy face. When this aspect shows up in the natal chart it will feel like its bad day, almost every single day.

Gemini is the sign of the salesman, the self-promotor, the great communicator, the marketer, the gadget guru, the juggler, the one who shows up here, there and everywhere. Gemini is also the opposite sign of Sagittarius. While Sagittarius is the talker, Gemini is the listener. While Gemini can certainly talk up a storm, you will also see Gemini fall completely silent and you can see the cogwheels churn in their brain as they are processing information. Do not push on this Gemini energy as it is processing or you will get answers or output you really don't want to hear. Leave the machine alone while it is thinking.

This transit of Mercury through Gemini (its home placement) is accompanied by a Retrograde from Saturday - May 29, 2021 and last until Tuesday - June 22, 2021. My charting time will be severely limited .... order now before the rise in fee and time limitation.
