Buckle up folks! The Moon moves into Cancer today at 8:41 AM EDT. The Moon naturally rules Cancer, who carries the motto, "I feel therefore I am", which should be used as intuition and not over-emotional, hyper-sensitive, and moody reactions and responses. IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE INTUITION!

This day begins on a strong, yet healthy note, as the Moon sextiles Mars at 6:22 AM EDT and gives the 'emotional force' necessary to get the job done. The Moon rules our emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities, and Mars is an aggressor, enforcer and competitor. This leaves us 'emotionally driven' this morning. Love, money, career, even family, can drive our emotions.

The Moon sextile Mars is energetic, it is enterprising, and it is exciting! If you have ever heard the phrase, "If it isn't a hell no, then it's a hell yeah!" Well this aspect is a, "Hell Yeah!"

The Moon square Neptune at 8:16 AM EDT is heavy. I mean heavvvvvyyyyyyy. This aspect can bring on bouts of depression and heavy mood swings in either direction. It can be manic where one could easily lose one's grip on reality, thinking 'it' went this way, when 'it' really went that way. This aspect has an over-active imagination and dips its toes and then wades into a world of fantasy. One HAS TO BE mature to get through this, otherwise the drama pulls on the ankles and weighs the spirit down. You have to be mature to set this energy right. Put it in its place!! Otherwise, a cesspool of emotions show up. There is a nice charm to this aspect where a person can get just about anyone to help them out, which could easily make the other person the 'enabler'. Ugggggh!

The last aspect today is the Moon quincunx Pluto at 11:55 AM EDT, which is weird and uncomfortable energy. There is power involved since Pluto has shown up on the scene. The Moon in Cancer is highly emotional if not channeled intuitively, so it won't take much to set-off this firecracker for the immature or uninitiated (unenLightened). You have to slam this energy and NOT let it overtake you. You cannot wrestle with it. You have to slam it and subdue it. Example?

I was working a fundraiser once and I walked up to a table of people I knew who were sitting there yacking it up about a couple of individuals at the event. They were in full-on gossip. One of the ladies turn to me and said something that asked for my input. I looked at her, then the others and said, "I will not participate in this conversation." I didn't walk away. I stayed put. This required them to change gears and talk about something else because I was still standing right there refusing to take part in 'that' conversation. It took a couple of seconds of weird and uncomfortable energy, and then someone at the table spoke up changed the subject.

Heck, for all I know, I could have been their next subject, but there are not enough words to express how much I don't give a damn. I refuse to be pulled into petty juvenile teenage gossip. So you see, subduing energy could make others feel weird and uncomfortable, but not you. Turn it upside folks and get it off of you! Become Teflon and don't let it stick. Handle it!
