The Moon moves into Cancer at 2:02 AM EDT until Wednesday, June 23, 2020 at 8:33 AM EDT

The Moon in Cancer sextile Uranus in Taurus at exactly 7:35 PM EDT. Lunar aspects have an 'orb of influence' of 12 to 14 hours 'before' and 'after' their exactness.

The BIG NEWS today is there is a New Moon in Cancer at 00 degrees 21 minutes. This is not just any New Moon, it is a New Moon Solar Eclipse where the Moon eclipses the Sun. Under strict definition, that is when one celestial body obscures the light of another celestial body by passing in-between the observer (you) and the its source of illumination. In this scenario we have the Moon coming in-between the Sun and the observer (you). So the Moon is eclipsing the Sun and blocking the observer (you) from seeing it. The Moon rules the emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities. While you can see the edges of the Sun and know that the Sun still shines, it has not gone anywhere, your emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities tell you that the world is coming to and end, Life is over as you know it and you may as well stop paying your bills, take your mask off and party in the Ozarks. It's nuts! Of course I'm being facetious. But that's how ka-ray-zee the Moon can make your your emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities so that you are not even thinking clearly.

At the same time, let's put this whole scenario on those who do have their emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities in-check. Meaning, they have a handle on their calm. You might be one who is saying, "The hell with it! I will not get wound up by this issue. My conscious is clear. I'll just live my Life as this energy passes and I won't skip a beat." Because one observer knows the Sun is just being blocked by the passing of another celestial body, while the other observer is losing their wits saying, "The world is ending." This is adult peek-a-boo and many adults are falling for it. Haven't you seen the YouTube video's where the person holds up a sheet and then jumps behind a wall and lets the sheet fall down and their dog freaks out wondering where they went? SIKE!

While the Sun being eclipsed by the Moon is real and not an illusion, your emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities may be acting and reacting like the dog who thinks you really disappeared. SIKE! Ah ha, you fell for it. Nonny-nonny-boo-boo!

So now you 'get to' and it is a 'get to' . . you 'get to' look at yourself and your Life and see where one thing eclipsed another and you made a big hairy deal out of nothing. You let your emotions get the best of you. Think about that statement for a bit. You let your emotions get the best of you. The best of you. That's when you allow something to occur that causes you to act and react less than you would have had you kept your brain (intellect) attached to your neck and shoulders. But NOOOOO, you had to act and react on emotions. The Sun, meaning the identity, personality, ego and the self was blocked by the Moon, meaning your emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities. Gotcha'!

And let's not forget, Mercury in Cancer just turned Retrograde a couple of days ago and will remain Retrograde until Sunday, July 12, 2020. Then it takes a full two (2) weeks for Mercury to get back up to its normal speed. Mercury in Cancer is insanely intuitive!!! Nearly all Gemini's, all Cancer's and a handful of Leo's will have Mercury in Cancer in their 2020 Solar Return. Gemini's from May 20 to May 27 will not have Mercury in Cancer in their 2020 Solar Return. Gemini's from May 28 until June 17 will have Mercury in Cancer and it will NOT be Retrograde. Gemini's born June 18 - 20 will have Mercury in Cancer Retrograde. All Cancer's will have Mercury in Cancer and all Cancer's will experience the toughest part of Mercury Retrograde. While Mercury does turn Direct on Sunday, July 12, 2020, it takes Mercury two (2) full weeks to get back up to normal speed. The Sun moves into Leo on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 and Mercury will not be up to normal speed until Sunday, July 26, 2020. So Cancer, THE MOST emotional, moody and sensitive sign of the zodiac will be hit with emotions fit for a drama King or Queen. Then Mercury will remain in Cancer up until Tuesday, August 4, 2020 when it finally moves into Leo. So you see, Leo's from July 22 up until August 4, 2020 will have Mercury in Cancer in their Solar Return.

This isn't so bad because Mercury in Cancer is INSANELY INTUITIVE. The problem is, who is going to handle this energy rightly and grown-uply, especially those with the birth dates I just mentioned in their 2020 Solar Return. Holy wow! There's a lot riding on these birth dates this year. And I'm a GEMINI! Well, I guess I do my part right here. And then on top of Mercury in Cancer (plus Retrograde now) we have a New Moon Solar Eclipse in Cancer right smack dab in the middle of all this family drama. Remember, the Moon your emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities is eclipsing the Sun, meaning the identity, personality, ego and the self. So the emotions ARE TAKING OVER! But wait, if you can pull back and not take 'everything personal', then you can use your Mercury in Cancer intuitiveness to figure it all out. So we have here and (hear), a way of escape. So here this . . .

Ah yes, as I always attempt to teach you, there is always a way of escape. God tells us so, that He will always provide us a way of escape. LOOK FOR IT! Stop your emotional self and say, "Where is the freakin' escape hatch?" And then stop and look for it. The escape hatch is going to be Mercury in Cancer, which is more like a labyrinth right now and not a maze. A maze is designed to get you lost, but a labyrinth is designed for you to follow the 'purposeful path'. The question is, will you choose the 'purposeful path' or will you get lost in the drama, yours or someone else's. While you may have already stepped into that pile of dung, you can still rinse off your shoes and move forward. And while the smell of the dung may linger for a brief period of time, it will leave as well provided you watch where you are going on 'the purposeful path'. Do you get me?

This New Moon Solar Eclipse in Cancer, as all New Moons are meant, represents a fresh start and new beginning. This focus or area in your chart is the area of Cancer, the sign of the home, the family, the childhood, domestic affairs and the biological and psychological foundation. This is deep stuff where generations of people are having to look deeply into what they have been taught and told about who they are and who everyone else is. I encourage you to do the purposeful work on your purposeful selves if indeed you are living a Life on purpose. After all, if you are here, which you are, then God made you 'on purpose' for His Purpose, not your own. Put that in your pipe and smoke it until you are high as a dang kite on it. (winky wink)
