The BIG NEWS today is Venus in Taurus conjuncts Uranus in Taurus. It's a time of self-worth translating into net-worth all over the place. This is a rare aspect that only occurs once a year, unless there is a retrograde with Venus, which could cause a repeat performance.

Also occurring today Venus moves into Gemini until July 30, 2025 and Neptune in Aries turns Retrograde (Rx). You will see those Astro Memes and links further down the page. Scroll this page first, then finish reading. This day is also accompanied by a stream of lunar aspects that will impact the emotions, moods, feelings and sensitivities (EMFs) meaning your intuition. At least most of the lunar aspects will be past their exactness by midday when the alcohol starts poppin'.

Keep in mind Uranus is the 'oddball' planet that orbits nearly on its side. That's weird. That's strange. That's unusual. That's unique. That's Uranus for ya'.

Remember, a conjunction is when two (2) or more planets are in the same sign and degree, where the energies of the two (2) planets involved are intensifed. So Venus is intensified (Love and money), Uranus is intensified (sudden change and rebellion).

Uranus rules lightning, which means it carries a lot of quick and sudden changing power! Change occurs so suddenly, so quickly, so instantaneously that it appears to have come out of nowhere. It's like the power of 'Lightning' releasing five (5) gigajoules of energy with it hits. 'Giga' means 'billion', which means Lightning has five (5) billion joules (pronounced jewels) of energy.

Now when these two (2) planets are combined and intensified it creates romantic attractions that are so sudden that it is the classic placement for literally 'falling in Love'. It's like stumbling and slobbering all over yourself trying to hook-up or gain the attention of the one you are falling over.

This is how two (2) people meet, get engaged after two (2) weeks, then move in together. It is a 'sudden attraction' with Uranus being the culprit for the 'sudden change in circumstance' and when attached to Venus, you get odd, unusual, crazy Love. The problem with this placement is that the attraction is so sudden and so fast that not so soon afterward the excitement wanes, the thrill is gone, and the freedom (or 'spell' so to speak) that initiated the interest has now moved on.

This aspect does not make an allowance to curb one's sense of freedom. It tends to get bored and restless in a traditional style of relationship and needs room to breathe.

Uranus naturally rules Aquarius, which needs a lot of extra 'space' to breathe and move freely. In fact, this energy needs so much space that it needs outer space, and way out there in outer space is where we find Uranus.

There are a lot of weddings in the Summer and this is definitey NOT the aspect I would choose to get married under, unless of course there is a long engagement and if the wedding was planned way in advance, but definitely not at the last minute. This is NOT the aspect you want to marry in the case of an elopement.

This aspect seeks fun, spontaneity and intellectual stimulation from a partner, due to the Aquarius influence who carries the motto, "I know therefore I am." In other words, the relationship needs to 'remain interesting'. This aspect absolutely can not get bored or trouble will mount, quickly.

Venus conjunct Uranus needs to be recognized as an individual within the personal relationship. The independence streak is very strong in this aspect and it cannot be negotiated out. "Back off, I gotta be me. It's not you, it's me. I just need more space."

This aspect is also a walking party that makes an already outgoing individual the 'Life of the party', making one even more popular among friends, groups and draws-in mere acquaintances.

This energy can also mistake a lover for a friend and a friend for a lover because of Venus naturally ruling Libra and the 7th house of committed relationships and Uranus naturally ruling Aquarius and the 11th house of friends.

Some natal charts will require the partner to be a friend, but this aspect is not set up for longevity, which would be a Saturn influence if longevity were involved. Aquarian energy (Uranus) does not need to be married. It does not need to have a documented piece of paper to prove Love. People need that proof, the Universe doesn't need it. Just sayin'.

P.S. - Sagittarian's and Aquarian's ABSOLUTELY need their partner to be their best friend.

Do you know what is more odd than Uranus? The fact that Saturn, which rules longevity and time is the ancient ruler of Aquarius, and Uranus is the planet of sudden change, which is the modern-day ruler of Aquarius. That's a dichotomy! It also means Aquarius 'can be' fickle when it comes to Love, like Gemini.

Venus combined with Uranus can make a sudden break in the relationship occur as quickly as it started. What started as a wildfire can end just as quickly with a bucket of water and a hose.

I would also be mindful of conversations or hanging out with others during this aspect. Keep in mind this energy began in applying degrees on June 27, 2025, it is exact today, and will last in separating degrees until July 12, 2025. All the sudden the energy takes a wild turn, spins out, feelings are hurt and someone is peeling-out angry tossing gravel everywhere.

Venus not only rules the 7th house of committed relationships, but also the 2nd house of self-worth and net-worth, which means 'personal finances'. So while you could easily come into sudden money, the money will leave your hands before it has had time to even clear the bank. Money comes and goes quicker than the wind. It doesn't have to if you are mindful.

Spending money right now should have value and purpose. It's a Taurus thing. In other words, you should not simply spend on a 'want'. Wants come and go, but needs or things that make your Life better or make you a better individual is the way to go, especially during this aspect. Make-up and clothes do not make you a better person. That's a cover.

By the way, Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury (the wind and weather) so relationships, money, new Love, dating, finances are pretty much, easy come easy go. Be mindful, remain aware and stay conscious.
