The BIG NEWS today is Mercury in Aquarius turns Retrograde. I wrote a lot about this yesterday, so if you missed it click back a day and play catch-up.

Let's uncomplicate things a bit. Slow down your pace this morning and just dial yourself down by slowing down your breathing. In my yoga classes we dial down at the beginning of practice. Read this rest of this paragraph slowly . . . Dial down from that big eye in the sky looking out over the earth and all of the planets orbiting the Sun. Dial down like you are turning down the volume. Dial down to the planet . . to your country . . to your region . . to your state . . to your county . . to your town . . to your district . . to your home . . to the room you are in . . and then dial down to your mat. A place where we find 'only' yourself. No one else. It's just you. A place where you take nothing with you, not even your shoes.

Now that you have dialed down in order to take in the today's energy and awareness, consider this. Mercury turns Retrograde at 6:41 AM EST in the sign of Aquarius, which carries the motto, "I know therefore I am." Often times this energy is misinterpreted or misunderstood as simply the intellectual plane. There is so much more to "I know therefore I am" than what you know. You can read, be taught or experience what you know. So there's that! Aquarius comes with three (3) different interpretations in its collection of gifts.

1) I know meaning - what you know.

2) I know meaning - who you know.

3) I know meaning - knowingness.

Certainly, Aquarius is one of three (3) intellectual signs - Aquarius, Gemini and Libra, but there is so much more to "I know therefore I am" than just the intellectual. Aquarius is known for knowing a little about everything. It doesn't matter what it is, they have knowledge to contribute to the conversation. And on trivia night at the school, stack your table with Aquarian's. FOR SURE! At the same time, Aquarius is known as the sign that makes the most mistakes. OUCHY! MOM MAKE HER STOP!

Hang with me for a minute before you allow yourself to be offended. Aquarius forgets that it's not just about what 'they know' because that would be all ego. The ego is what contributes to the mistakes. Remember Aquarius and Leo are opposing signs and opposing signs are ALWAYS SUPER SIMILAR, but different. Leo rules the ego and Aquarius will take it to another level. OUCHY! There is more to what Aquarius knows.

Aquarius rules the 11th house of friendships and relationships with groups of people. This house also rules organizations, friends, alliances, fraternities, memberships, social circles, socializing, social media, groups, the masses and the activities in those groups.

The part of the body that Aquarius rules is 'circulation'. Leo rules the heart and Aquarius rules the circulation of blood through the body and back to the heart. Aquarius is the circulator, which reveals itself socially and through relationships and friendships. They circulate and connect people to one another.

Folks, this Aquarian energy is not necessarily what you know, IT'S WHO YOU KNOW! Who do you know that can help you accomplish, start, begin or get to the place that you desire or need to be?

And then there is the intuitive 'knowingness' of Aquarius. Stepping away from the ego allows the Aquarian to embrace their knowingness. They don't know why they know what they know, they just know. And this intuition 'knowingness' has to come from somewhere, right? Well, it's the gift to Aquarius that is Graced by God. Sometimes the human experience gets all twisted and the human forgets from whence they came . . from God.

So what if during this Mercury Retrograde you decided to embrace the motto, "I know therefore I am." Last year, as I wrote yesterday, if I would have listened to my intuition, I would have not mailed that package, it would have not been lost, and it would not have caused so much grief. That's exactly what it caused . . grief. I should have known and I did KNOW! Therein sits 'the mistake'. Not trusting the 'knowingness'. It happens. I roll on, I get over it and that's that, and I take the lesson with me. It's not my fault that the package was lost, but it was my doing and self-undoing that I did not listen to my intuition. And now I 'get to' share that lesson with you.

This Mercury Retrograde is going to take us from "I know therefore I am" back to Tuesday - January 25, 2022 where Mercury will re-enter Capricorn, who carries the motto, "I use therefore I am."

There are all kinds of uses for "I use" - use, utilize, misuse, abuse, disuse, re-use, utility, useful, usefulness, usage, desuetude.

Since we are going to trek back from "I know therefore I am" to "I use therefore I am" and since Mercury Retrograde (Rx) gives us the awareness and mindfulness to get it right when giving the opportunity, then we do just that. We USE what we know (intellectual), we USE who we know (all in Good ways) and we USE our knowingness (intuition) to get it right the second time as Mercury Rx treks over the same degrees backward a second time.

Then Mercury will turn Direct on Thursday - February 3, 2022 and we 'get to' trek over the same degrees a third time in order to USE what we know (intellectual), USE who we know (all in Good ways) and USE our knowingness (intuition) to get it right the third time before progressing forward.

Have fun with this Mercury Retrograde with your newfound knowingness. Astrology . . I LOVE this stuff!
