The BIG NEWS today is Venus in Scorpio is opposing Jupiter in Taurus. RATS! This is a tough one because addiction is involved due to Jupiter's excessiveness. Keep in mind Jupiter is the ancient ruler of Pisces, which is the ruler of addicts and addictions, and the ruler of mental health, chemistry, drugs, alcohol, rehab, mental institutions and treatment centers.

This is over-indulgence is Love (Venus) and sex (Scorpio), which morphs and rolls into food, drink, parties, going out, fun, etc. Whatever you Love and over-indulge in will likely be the problem with this aspect. Remember how Jordan in 'Wolf of Wallstreet' over-indulged in everything and his Love of all the wrong things was his downfall. He was so creative, if only he would have channeled the energy appropriately. Instead he fell, having fun, being fabulous and enjoying freedom at all costs. As BIG as this energy is, if you are creative and not addictive, then you will win! Someone has to win, so why not you?

There is a battle being waged sending people in different directions. While one individual fights for a right relationship, the other is only concerned with having fun, partying, going out, and playing in front of the mirror.

This is a super-tough placement for relationships because Venus is in Scorpio (mine and yours) while Jupiter is in Taurus (mine, my, own). One person is thinking of the relationship and the other is thinking of themselves.

You must guard against exaggerating your own importance and calling attention to yourself. If you brag about how much you have in such a cruddy economy, then be prepared for others to come to you for help. Didn't you see the movie 'Wolf of Wall Street' and what happened when Jordan called so much attention to himself. Braggadocious people always take it too far. You want attention? The Universe will give you some attention, but it might not be what you expected.

It is important to ensure your efforts are steady, sustained and well-regulated. In other words, act like a grown-up. We can expect young people to do stupid things, right? Been there, done that. But for grown adults to act outrageous is just unacceptable. This is a dangerous aspect if you take it too far. Don't do that. And don't make me say, "I told'ja so", because I will. I'm like that.

Venus opposing Jupiter is flamboyant and showy, including where philosophic ideals and religious practice is concerned, but when the going gets tough and someone needs help, the showy turns a blind eye.

So you see, this aspect is heightened and blatant hypocrisy. When help is needed, instead of showing up to help, the hypocrite shows up somewhere else. Maybe, just maybe, they will throw money at the problem.

This aspect will take Life, everything, you, and others for granted because this aspect craves success, attention and ambition, but can be seriously lazy when it comes to work.

Anyone with this aspect in the Natal Chart or Solar Return will need to find a line of work that they absolutely Love or they will not accomplish much. Successful entrepreneurs are usually working their ass off for their legacy, and not partying into the wee hours ready to lose their fortune at any given minute.

There is also the possibility of you being taken advantage of by others if you insist on throwing time and money around. Watch your bragging or someone will be hitting you up for 'free' Goods, services or money.

This aspect wastes money and blows it on luxurious living thinking it will all be there tomorrow, so why save or invest? This aspect lives in the material world and is looking to impress anyone who will look, as it's not too picky on who provides the attention.

It's going to be tough to save money with this aspect unless of course you need to be scared into submission. Does something tough really need to happen in order to keep you sane and sober?
