The Sun square Neptune aspect ALWAYS occurs twice a year in two (2) opposite signs. The last time we experienced the Sun square Neptune was back on June 9, 2019 when the Sun in Gemini squared Neptune in Pisces. Today it is the Sun in Sagittarius squaring Neptune in Pisces. Gemini and Sagittarius are opposite signs, while at the same time they both square Pisces. Squares always have two (2) signs in between them. Pisces and Gemini are separated by Aries and Taurus, while Pisces and Sagittarius are separated by Capricorn and Aquarius. So the two (2) signs that square another sign are also opposite each other. Crazy!

If there were ever a 'beer goggles' aspect, then this is that aspect. Beer goggles meaning when you have over-done it with the beer, your vision is off and you are not seeing things clearly. Neptune is the planet that drinks like a fish and with Neptune in the sign of Pisces, its natural ruling sign, then this is REALLY placement can really drink like a fish. This square simply cannot see clearly and ends up deceiving itself. Is this you? Are you looking at yourself (physically, spirtually, emotionally or chemically) and not seeing the Truth? This aspect can be so positive that it can set you up for emotional disappointments and setbacks. Having said that, it's important to keep your emotions in check and your expectations within realistic boundaries.

This aspect has Good manners, social grace and knows how to work the room. There is also the desire to form friendships and alliances with those who have a more mystical and ethereal nature about them. Spiritual and more ethereal converations are engaged in during this aspect. Venus sextile Neptune also inclines toward a relationship that has a spiritual tone.
