The BIG NEWS today is there are only two (2) lunar aspects, it is New Year's Eve, and one of those aspects involves Neptune. ALERT ALERT ALERT! Do I really have to say it?

First, the Moon rules our emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities. Take that in for a moment. I know you know this, but sit in the thought of this for a minute. It doesn't just rule women's emotional state, it rules men, women and children's emotional state. It rules everyone's emotional state.

Second, a sextile aspect is Good because 'a sextile makes us smile'. It is a lesser form of a trine, which is the best aspect. But then again, a conjunction is pretty damn great too when you use it as it is intended. It kinda really just depends on the two (2) planets involved in a conjunction and how you use them.

The Moon sextile the Sun is a super-sweet aspect as the Moon is estrogen and the Sun is testosterone, which causes the opposite sexes or opposite energies to get along and work very well together. We begin the day on a really great note. We end the day on a really great note, but then again . . . it depends.

The Moon is in Pisces today, which is THE MOST intuitive Sun Sign of the zodiac. Pisces is in-tune and intuitive, like a tuning fork or a Tune-ahhhhhh-Fish. Pisces is super deep (like the Ocean it represents). Every so often Pisces energy surfaces to grab some air and then expels that air with some incredibly big fish tales of the deep. But how would we know it's a tale (tail) because who else can swim that deep? Well, a South Node Pisces (myself) can swim that deep (not literally but figuratively) because a South Node Pisces has been there and done that in a past Life. South Node Pisces came into this Lifetime from 'the deep'.

Pisces is naturally ruled by Neptune, who is the brother of Jupiter, who is the ancient ruler of Pisces, while Neptune is the modern-day ruler. We know Jupiter as THE EXPANDER, which pretty much explains why it is the ancient ruler of the vast Ocean. Neptune is also the brother of Pluto, the ruler of the underworld. This band of brothers rule of the heavens, the earthly world and the underworld.

Pisces wants us to stay 'in the spiritual' and often times too many people can only go deep or think they are going deep if they drink (like a fish). Remember, a conjunction intensifies the energies of the planets involved and the second aspect today is the Moon conjunct Neptune. This is too much alcohol (drinking) messing with your emotions and someone is sure to ruin the fun with their over-drinking. The over-drinking instead of enhancing the intuition ends up taking away the intuition. This conjunction is occurring at 7:16 PM EST and remember, lunar aspects have an 'orb of influence' of 12 to 14 hours on either side of its exactness.

While this could potentionally be a great evening to ring in the New Year for the 'enlightened, initiated and self-aware' individual, it could potentionally be a miserable night for those who are not self-aware, spiritually connected or who do not have a spiritual bone in their body.

Some of you may experience an 'emotional awakening' like a cop pulling them over. Some make experience an 'emotional awakening' during an emotional drunk argument. Or maybe you have to take in the 'emotional awakening' tomorrow morning. Hey, however you have to get to the place you need to be, that's on you.

My suggestion? . . go into this New Year by going 'into the deep' . . . minus the alcohol. As a South Node Pisces, I don't drink because there is no South Node Pisces on the planet who should take one sip of alcohol at any time and anyone with a challenging aspect involving Pisces or Neptune or Jupiter should lay off the alcohol. A Pisces, a Pisces Rising and especially a South Node Pisces is insanely intuitive and nothing will kill, squash and absorb your intuition like alcohol.
