The BIG NEWS today is it's an emotionally complicated day. Handle it! Folks, you cannot allow yourself to be the screaming lady or naysaying man when the going gets tough. Flippin' Handle It!!! Handle your Life! No one MAKES you act and react the way you do, you choose to act and react the way you do, either consciously or unconsciously. You chose it! It's on you!

Think of the movies, when the going gets tough, there is always a screaming lady and a naysaying man who only sees the dark side and no way out. "They left us here to die!" says the man as he badgers the others with his anger and pessimism to join his position, and then the woman starts screaming and crying while losing her mind. Then the ones who have their sh!t together end up saving everyone and the entire group gets to now look back and see how the others acted and reacted when the going got tough.

When I choose a team, for any reason, work or play, I want to know what kind of emotions will I have to deal with if the going gets tough. If it's snowing tomorrow, will you be the one who calls in and says, "I can't get out of my driveway" when you really can, or will you have paid attention to the weather and prepared your car and timing so that you still move through your day without skipping a beat?

This day can easily turn into a tough and regrettable day as Mercury, the planet of communication and transportation changes signs. Mercury moves out of Sagittarius and into Capricorn at 9:31 AM EST. Mercury has been in its 'detriment' in the sign of Sagittarius because Mercury naturally rules both Gemini and Virgo. Gemini opposes Sagittarius and Virgo squares Sagittarius. It has been a double-whammy of detrimental energy with Mercury in Sagittarius. This means the energy showed up at the wrong place and wrong time. It's mischanneled energy. In other words, "Oooops! This day is further complicated by six (6) lunar aspects accompanied by a Void of Course (VoC) Moon as the Moon makes its way out of hyper-emotional, moody and ultra-nuclear sensitive Cancer, and into Leo, which shows up emotionally as ego, vanity and pride.

The combination of all these energies make this a day of being offended. I don't know about you, but I'm so tired of people being offended. The level of self-importance that is present when someone is constantly put-off and offended is just staggering. Give it some thought. Being offended so much and so often definitely makes it all about you. Seeing something offensive is not the same as being offended because being offended takes it personal.

Back in the day, during my LIVE political radio show, a male caller completely goes off on me, loses his peace and calls me stupid. Actually he asked, "Do you even know how stupid you are?" It was a rhetorical question so I let it ride as he slid off into a several minute rant. When he came up for air I asked, "Are you finished?" There was pause of silence and then he raged a solid, "YES!" I hit the button for the next caller and said, "Good evening caller, you are on the air! What do you have for us?"

Folks, it's not wise to own, wear, buy or accept others emotional dumps. That guy would have been the naysayer in the movie who said, "They left us all here to die!" and then got into a fistfight with someone in the group.

Surely you get the picture of this collection of energies today - six (6) lunar aspects, a change in the sign of the Moon and a change in the sign of Mercury. The Moon rules our emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities, while Mercury rules communication and transportation. Can you say, "ROAD RAGE!"?

Now while Mercury moves into Capricorn and gives us some clear, solid, all-business and no-monkey-business thought, Mercury will turn 'Retrograde' in Capricorn on December 13, 2023 until January 1, 2024. This means two (2) weeks before Mercury turns Retrograde he will begin to slow down. It's like a locomotive getting ready to come to a stop so it can put it in reverse and go backward. It takes Mercury about two (2) weeks to slow all the way down before it Retrogrades (goes in reverse degrees). Then once Mercury turns Direct on January 1, 2024 it will take him just as long to pick up speed again and get back to his normal clip (speed).

During this time Mercury will retrograde back into Sagittarius on December 23, 2023 until January 13, 2024. So we will be back in that 'detriment' energy where Mercury in Sagittarius is in a difficult position as Mercury naturally opposes and squares Sagittarius. It's hoof-in-the-mouth-syndrome. It's like saying to the non-pregnant woman, "When are you due?"

So folks, this collection of change in the Moon and Mercury today, along with the six (6) lunar aspects - trine, square, opposition, quincunx, quincunx, trine - makes for tough, weird and uncomfortable energy.

The Good news is the day begins on a nice note with a trine and ends on a nice note with a trine. The entire day is sandwiched with a trine. Can you get passed the screaming lady and the naysaying man while holding this trine sandwich without dripping anything on yourself?
