The day begins with easy and effortless energy. I just LOVE those two (2) words together (easy and effortless) as my daily motto is, "Easily and effortlessly NOW", which basically means, do not make anything harder than it has to be. 'Scause why?

The day begins with a sextile. Sextiles make us SMILE and trines are sublime. The Moon trine the Sun is THE BESTEST lunar aspect in the land, so this aspect is pretty much its younger sibling, which is nearly just as Good. In fact, the Moon trine the Sun is such a great aspect that I created a yearly calendar to mark the dates and tip you off ahead of time. I did that last year, this year, and next year. You just have to look in the left side navigation column under 'Moon Calendars' to see it. The last Moon trine the Sun aspect this year (2023) is on Thursday - December 21, 2023. But that is then, the Moon sextile the Sun is now.

The Moon sextile the Sun signifies a tranquil and happy Life. There is peace, comfort and harmony, especially with family members because the Moon rules the mother, estrogen, yin and feminine energy, and the Sun rules the father, testosterone, yang and male energy. So there ya' go!

It's also a great aspect to express how you feel toward someone, even if you say, "Honey we need to talk." or Thanks, but no thanks. This aspect is a non-threatening even when challenged or when you express how you feel.

The Moon will then move out of Aquarius and into Pisces later in the day. The Moon in Pisces is monk-mode, moving meditations, quiet time, solitude and personal reflection on any 'skeletons in the closet' that you need to address and put to rest.

The Moon in Pisces will then conjunct Saturn in Pisces. This is interesting because the karmic planet (Saturn) meets the karmic sign (Pisces) and then conjuncts the Moon in Pisces.

Let's get this straight, karma is not always a bad thing. Karma is an effect from a cause. If you caused something bad, then yeah, the karmic effect will not be positive. How could it? But let's say you are causing Good, then the karmic effect will return to you in a positive way.

Karma is the Hindu and Buddhist concept that action, deed, thought or word has an impact, effect or result. Basically, it's cause and effect. It's outcome, consequences or wake. You did this and put that into motion. Ripples.

This aspect may bring back some childhood memories as the Moon rules the mother, estrogen, yin and feminine energy, and Saturn (like the Sun) rules the father, testosterone, yang and male energy.

So today we have both lunar aspects that are all about the parents, childhood and how do we handle that now as adults? It just goes to show just how much parents have an influence on our Life.

The Moon conjunct the Sun is a painfully shy aspect, which may cause the individual to become an over-achiever due to the lack of self-confidence. So instead of under-achieving, this aspect over-achieves to get the attention of the parent(s). It's pretty much a waste of time as the attention and recognition will wane quickly. This aspect wants Love and attention from a parent or authority figure, but pretty much doesn't get its needs met.

As a result, the individual may identify more with material possessions than people because these things will become a measuring stick of their success. What the Moon conjunct Saturn really wants is the parent to express pride, warmth and Love for a job well done, but since that will likely 'not' happen or last long, the individual reaches for materialism (trophies) that are evidence of a job well done. The materialism is the pat-on-the-back or the atta girl, atta boy. Here's proof I did Good! SEE!

Honestly, astrologically, emotionally, for one's own mental health - it's best that you work on your goals and ambitions rather than continually mull over what the parent did or did not do. Pisces rules the past and if there is one thing we know for sure, the past is over. O.V.E.R. How much or how long you mull over and relive the past will be up to you.

It can only be the parents fault for so long and then an individual has to accept accountability and responsibility for their own Life (Saturn). As adults, we make our choices and we have to live with them. Stay where you are or move the heck ON!
